Murray didn't practice Friday due to personal reasons but doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest at Jacksonville, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Meanwhile, Alvin Kamara is tending to an ankle injury, which limited his practice reps Thursday before keeping him out entirely Friday. Kamara is listed as questionable for Week 6, and a decision on his status won't be made until about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. kickoff. If Kamara is hindered or inactive, Murray is on hand to keep the ground game running. On the season, Murray has averaged 3.9 yards per carry and hauled in six of seven targets.

Kamara isn't trending in the right direction for Week 6, downgrading from limited participation at Thursday's practice to a DNP on Friday. The development may have been implemented to preserve Kamara's ankle for game day, but a decision on his availability won't come until approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. The next players up in the Saints' backfield are Latavius Murray and Dwayne Washington.

Clement (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

With Darren Sproles (quadriceps) also out, the Eagles' Week 6 backfield will be led by Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders, with Boston Scott a candidate to be promoted from the team's practice squad for depth purposes.

Kamara (ankle) and Latavius Murray (non-injury) weren't present Friday at the media-access portion of practice, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.

Kamara was a mid-week addition to the injury report, showing up Thursday as a limited participant with an ankle injury. An absence for Sunday's game in Jacksonville would leave Murray as the lead back, assuming his own missed practice isn't related to anything that might threaten his game availability. The Saints also have Dwayne Washington on hand in the backfield.

Coach Pat Shurmur isn't sure if Barkley (ankle) will return for Week 7 against the Cardinals, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Barkley missed a third straight game Thursday against the Patriots, ruled out on the final injury report after managing limited practice participation throughout the week. He was spotted running at the team facility Friday, showing no sign of any setbacks in his recovery from a high ankle sprain. Barkley hopes to return for a game against Arizona on Oct. 20.

Bolden logged 12 of a possible 82 snaps on offense in Thursday's 35-14 win over the Giants, en route to rushing three times for 23 yards and a TD and catching both of his targets for 22 yards.

Bolden has now found the end zone in three straight games, but that's a trend that can't be counted on in the coming weeks, especially with Rex Burkhead (foot) -- who has missed two straight games -- a candidate to return to action Week 7.

The Giants waived Walter on Friday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.

Walter's tenure in New York lasted just one contest, and he played only one snap on offense during Thursday's 35-14 loss to the Patriots. The Giants hope to have at least one of Saquon Barkley (ankle) or Wayne Gallman (concussion) available Week 7.

Barner (knee) was a full participant at Thursday's practice, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.

Barner has been dealing with a concussion and a knee injury, but looks as though he will suit up Sunday, barring a setback. His main impact will come on special teams, where he should fill in as the Falcons' primary return man.

Harris is inactive for Thursday night's game against the Giants.

In the event that Sony Michel suffers an injury in the coming weeks, Harris could factor in on early downs for the Patriots. In Week 6, however, the team will continue to roll with a backfield comprised of Michel, James White and Brandon Bolden.

Jones will likely notice a reduction in his offensive snap share Monday against the Lions with fellow running back Jamaal Williams on track to play after clearing the concussion protocol and practicing fully Thursday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

With Williams exiting on the Packers' first possession of the Week 4 loss to the Eagles and sitting out the Week 5 win over the Cowboys entirely, Jones handled 84 and 68 percent snap shares, respectively, in the contests. Those workloads were his two largest of the season, and significantly above the cumulative 52.8 percent share he logged between Weeks 1 and 3, when Williams was fully healthy. While it's possible Jones earned himself a larger piece of the pie after his massive 182-yard, four-touchdown outburst in Dallas, the Packers still appear to value Williams' skills as a pass blocker and short-yardage ballcarrier. With that in mind, expectations for Jones moving forward should be tempered to some extent, even coming off the best outing of his three-year career.
