The Dolphins waived Walton (suspension) on Tuesday.

Walton had missed the Dolphins' previous two contests while serving a four-game suspension due to violations of the NFL's personal conduct and substance abuse policies, which were related to his three arrests during the offseason. According to a press release issued Tuesday by the Dolphins, Walton was recently involved in another "police matter," and his latest brush with the law will end up costing him his job. With Walton no longer in line to rejoin Miami when his suspension lapses in December, Kalen Ballage should gain some security in the lead role, despite his remarkably poor efficiency this season (1.9 yards per carry on 64 attempts).

Hill had five carries for 18 yards and caught his lone target for nine yards in Sunday's win over the Texans.

The rookie continued to see minimal time on the field, playing just eight snaps. Hill's usage when in the game was significant, though, as he had six total touches on those eight snaps, and he averaged 4.5 yards per touch. As long as Mark Ingram and Gus Edwards remain as a healthy and productive 1-2 punch behind Lamar Jackson in the Baltimore backfield, there won't be a path for Hill to have much of a role.

Ogunbowale ran twice for no gain and brought in three of four targets for 10 yards in the Buccaneers' 34-17 loss to the Saints on Sunday.

Ogunbowale saw his snap count from scrimmage climb to 29 due to the Buccaneers being in catch-up mode, with his level of participation qualifying as his highest since Week 6 against the Panthers. The third-year back has back-to-back three-catch efforts, and he's recorded multiple grabs in seven games overall. Ogunbowale's role figures to remain modest week to week as long as Peyton Barber and Ronald Jones are healthy in front of him.

Williams rushed 11 times for 35 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's 24-17 win over the Chargers. He also caught two of three targets for eight yards.

Williams was forced into a larger role after Damien Williams was ruled out with a rib injury suffered during the first half, while LeSean McCoy left in the second half with a head injury. Patrick Mahomes actually led the team with 59 rushing yards, though nobody carried the ball more than Williams, who also punched in a six-yard touchdown. With the Chiefs now entering their bye week, McCoy and Damien Williams will have extra time to get healthy, but Darrel could be the beneficiary if they remain banged up heading into Week 13's game versus the Raiders.

Ekeler rushed five times for 24 yards and caught eight of 11 targets for 108 yards in Monday night's 24-17 loss to the Chiefs.

Ekeler was handed nine fewer carries than Melvin Gordon, but totaled 42 more scrimmage yards thanks to a superb effort in the passing game. The tailback caught a 37-yard reception on the Chargers' first offensive drive and was routinely targeted on underneath routes afterward. Overall, he easily led the team in receiving yards and tied Keenan Allen for the high in grabs, sending him into the bye week on a good note individually.

Gordon rushed 14 times for 69 yards and caught three of five targets for 21 yards in Monday night's 24-17 loss to the Chiefs.

Gordon had a few nice gains, including a 21-yard rush during the first quarter. That helped him put together a third straight game with at least 4.0 yards per carry, continuing his progress following a slow start. Although the tailback dropped a pass late, he also totaled 90 yards from scrimmage for the third outing in a row. Despite his recent touchdown streak ending, he'll take some nice momentum into the Chargers' bye week.

Williams (ribs) has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game against the Chargers.

While being tackled by veteran linebacker Thomas Davis in the second quarter, Williams took a knee to the rib cage and spent multiple minutes on the ground. While he was eventually able to walk off the field under his own power, it's possible Williams will miss more action. In the meantime, LeSean McCoy and Darrel Williams will take over at running back for the remainder of Monday's game.

Williams (rib) is questionable to return to Monday's game against the Chargers.

Williams was banged up after a carry in the second quarter, and was forced to leave the game. He subsequently headed to the locker room and will look to get extra treatment ahead of the third quarter. As long as he's sidelined, the healthy running backs for the Chiefs have dwindled down to Darrel Williams and LeSean McCoy.

Scott carried the ball seven times for 26 yards in Sunday's 17-10 loss to New England.

Scott tied his season-high in carries but wasn't able to do much with them. He started alongside Miles Sanders but saw just 14 offensive snaps compared to 64 for Sanders. The 24-year-old also handled punt and kick returns for the Eagles. With Darren Sproles (quad) out for the season and Jordan Howard's shoulder ailing, Scott could see a similar role Week 13 against Seattle, even with the team's recent addition of Jay Ajayi.

Thompson (coach's decision) is a healthy inactive for Monday's showdown against the Chargers, BJ Kissel of the Chiefs' official site reports.

This news is a bit surprising, considering Thompson was active last week and saw two touches in the game. The disappointing season continues for the 22-year-old, as he's firmly been established at the bottom of the Chiefs' running back depth chart. In Thompson's stead, the team will roll with Damien Williams, Darrel Williams and LeSean McCoy.
