D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Lions' D'Andre Swift: Limited in practice again
Swift (undisclosed) made it through Monday's limited practice without any setbacks and could handle a similar workload Tuesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Swift still hasn't been cleared for full-team work, but Chris Burke of The Athletic reports that the rookie went through positional drills in pads at Monday's practice. It sounds like Swift is on track for Week 1 against the Bears, though his role may be impacted by all the missed practice time.

Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Misses back-to-back practices
Harris was absent from practice Monday and Tuesday, Jeff Howe of The Athletic reports.
While the Patriots haven't provided any information, back-to-back absences hint at some type of injury. Prior to the past couple days, Harris had been splitting first-team carries with Sony Michel, who returned from the PUP list last Wednesday. The New England backfield has been a consistent source of intrigue this summer, and it appears there's still much to be determined in the coming weeks. Harris still has 12 days to get healthy before a Week 1 matchup with the Dolphins.

La'Mical Perine RB | PIT
Jets' La'Mical Perine: Avoids major injury
Perine was diagnosed with a low-ankle sprain, likely avoiding a long-term absence, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Reports from Sunday's practice didn't sound great, but it now seems the rookie fourth-round pick doesn't have a severe injury. Even if he isn't ready for the season opener, Perine should be available as the Jets' No. 3 running back at some point during the early portion of the campaign. Le'Veon Bell and Frank Gore are expected to handle most of the backfield snaps.

Darrynton Evans RB | BUF
Titans' Darrynton Evans: Absences racking up
Evans (undisclosed) has missed six straight practices, Eric Bacharach of the Nashville Tennesseean reports.
Derrick Henry is the clear leader of the Titans' backfield, but Evans was expected to work as a change-of-pace back behind him. While it's unclear what has held Evans out of practice, his absence is concerning given the lack of full-speed reps he'll have prior to the regular-season kickoff Sept. 14.

Qadree Ollison RB | PIT
Falcons' Qadree Ollison: Returns to practice
Ollison was back at practice Monday after missing multiple sessions last week with an undisclosed injury, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
The second-year back finds himself with some work to do in the backup running back competition, as Brian Hill continues to prove himself as a star of training camp. Ollison certainly had some noteworthy practice performances of his own prior to the injury, but his niche role within the Falcons' rushing attack becomes somewhat repetitive if Todd Gurley is able to consistently handle carries near the goal line.

Nick Bawden RB | HOU
Lions' Nick Bawden: Back on IR
The Lions placed Bawden (undisclosed) on injured reserve Monday, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.
This is a tough break for Bawden, as he'll be placed on injured reserve for the second time in three seasons. It's unclear as to the specifics of the injury, but the 2018 seventh-round pick will reside on IR barring an injury settlement with the club. Bawden saw action in 10 games in 2019 while playing on offense and special teams, catching four passes for 17 yards.

Justice Hill RB | BAL
Ravens' Justice Hill: Back to work Monday
Hill was back at practice Monday after dealing with a soft-tissue injury, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Hill was sidelined for about a week while tending to the injury, the nature of which hadn't been clarified. Now healthy, Hill is expected to be the featured kick returner in 2020 while also being deployed in a depth role at running back.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Absence contract-related
Kamara's absence from practice since Friday is believed to be contract-related, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Per Schefter, Kamara's absence is believed to be unexcused. With Week 1 on the horizon, this is a situation worth closely monitoring, but Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football does encouragingly note that contract "talks between Kamara and the Saints have grown closer." While Kamara is not at practice, added first-team reps will be available for his top backup Latavius Murray.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Missing practice
Kamara (undisclosed) has been absent from practice since Friday, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.
Per the report, coach Sean Payton declined to clarify whether the running back's absence is injury or non-injury related. Triplett added that Payton chose not to provide details on any of his player's injuries Monday, so until further details are available, we'll consider Kamara day-to-day.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Lions' D'Andre Swift: Practicing in limited capacity
Swift (undisclosed) will be a limited practice participant Monday, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
Swift also saw some limited work last Wednesday but otherwise has mostly been absent for the past week and a half. His injury isn't thought to be serious, but both Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press and Kyle Meinke of MLive.com have suggested the missed practice time could impact Swift's role early in the season. Kerryon Johnson would be the obvious beneficiary if the Lions don't think Swift is ready for a large quantity of snaps.
