The Jacksonville defense stepped up against the NFL's leading rusher from 2019, containing Henry to a meager 3.4 yards per rush after he accumulated an absurd 7.0 yards per carry in his four preceding outings against the Jaguars. Combining Sunday's results with Henry's Week 1 performance (3.7 YPC), the 2019 Pro Bowler is off to an inefficient start to 2020, though he is still benefitting from a gargantuan workload. The 26-year-old has already garnered 59 offensive touches through Tennessee's first two outings, as the Titans now prepare for a Week 3 matchup against the 0-2 Vikings.

Jones rushed 18 times for 168 yards and two touchdowns while adding four catches for 68 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in Sunday's 42-21 win over the Lions.

Jones led Green Bay in both rushing and receiving yards, piling up 236 scrimmage yards. He scored a seven-yard receiving touchdown in the second quarter, then ripped off rushing touchdowns of 75 and 14 yards as the Packers outscored the Lions 39-7 over the final three quarters after falling behind 14-3. Jones has four total touchdowns through two games this season and is locked in as one of the league's top fantasy running backs heading into a Week 3 trip to New Orleans.

McCaffrey (ankle) won't return to Sunday's game in Tampa Bay, Myles Simmons of the Panthers' official site reports.

At the time of the ruling, less than two minutes remained in the contest with the Panthers facing a 14-point deficit, so it's not a shock McCaffrey won't return. Earlier in the fourth quarter, he was testing the ankle by walking about the sideline under his own power. In his stead, Mike Davis is the likely candidate to get work out of the team's backfield, but Curtis Samuel could get reps, too, as he operated as a running back during his college days at Ohio State.

McCaffrey is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Buccaneers due to an ankle injury, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.

Per the report, McCaffrey has been been walking on his own power on the sideline, testing his ankle out, but it remains to be seen if he'll re-enter the contest. Next up for the team's carries are Mike Davis and Trenton Cannon.

Barkley suffered a severe right knee injury during Sunday's contest at Chicago, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Giants "fear" Barkley has an ACL tear, and while such an injury is "certainly within the realm" of possibility, he'll undergo additional tests Monday to determine the true extent of the issue. If worst fears are confirmed, he'll miss the rest of the 2020 campaign and spend much of the upcoming offseason in recovery mode. Behind Barkley, Dion Lewis and fullback Elijhaa Penny were the team's only other active running backs Sunday, while Wayne Gallman was a healthy scratch. Considering that stable, New York may explore the free-agent ranks, which still includes Devonta Freeman.

Hill (thigh) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Texans.

This is surprising news, especially considering Hill logged full practice time Friday. The second-year pro is a bit buried on the running back depth chart, as he appears to be the fourth option. In his stead, look for Devin Duvernay to handle kick return duties in the meantime.

Boone (concussion) won't return to Sunday's game against the Colts, Chad Graff of The Athletic reports.

Boone was forced to enter the protocol in the second quarter, and he won't return to the game when his team returns in the third quarter. The Cincinnati product will now need to gain clearance from independent league doctors before returning to action. Ameer Abdullah and Alexander Mattison will handle depth running back duties with Boone sidelined.

Montgomery (neck) returned to Sunday's game versus the Giants, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.

Montgomery landed on his head when he lept over a pile in the second quarter, but after being evaluated in the locker room, the second-year RB has returned to the game.

Mostert won't return to Sunday's game versus the Jets due to a knee injury, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Mostert went to the locker room early in the first half and didn't return after the break. He was excellent before his departure, totaling 107 yards and a touchdown on 10 touches. For the time being, Tevin Coleman and Jerick McKinnon will handle a bulk of the backfield reps while Jeff Wilson also rotates in.

Akers (ribs) has been ruled out of Sunday's game in Philadelphia, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.

Akers took the first three carries for the Rams before heading to the sidelines, accumulating 13 yards on the ground. With the rookie second-rounder unable to return, Malcolm Brown will have more opportunity for early down and short-yardage reps, while Darrell Henderson takes on more of the pass-catching burden out of the team's backfield.
