Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Broncos' Melvin Gordon: Busts out for 131 rushing yards
Gordon rushed 15 times for 131 yards while catching one of two targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 22-16 loss to Kansas City.
The Broncos had the Chiefs on the brink of defeat for more than half of the contest, and Gordon's rushing onslaught played a big role in the near-upset. The veteran back has shown us flashes of why he was considered one of the league's top rushers before falling out with the Chargers, but the lack of consistency has made him frustrating to rely on in fantasy. A chunk of the blame can be placed on mediocre quarterback play and injuries on the offensive line, but excuses are not traditionally a scoring category in weekly matchups. That being said, a gratuitous matchup against a porous Panthers defense (25.6 fantasy points per game to opposing RBs) lies ahead for managers potentially heading into the fantasy playoffs.

Jeremy McNichols RB | WAS
Titans' Jeremy McNichols: Scores in garbage time
McNichols rushed the ball two times for two yards and a touchdown in Week 13 against the Browns. He added three receptions for 15 yards.
McNichols didn't touch the ball until late in the fourth quarter with the Titans down 20 points. He helped move the ball down the field with receptions of four and eight yards, and ultimately capped off the drive with a one-yard touchdown run. McNichols remains the likeliest candidate to see the majority of work out of the backfield if Derrick Henry were to be sidelined.

Latavius Murray RB | BUF
Saints' Latavius Murray: Season-low output in victory
Murray rushed five times for 17 yards and caught both of his targets for no gain in the Saints' 21-16 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
Just a week after rumbling for 124 yards and two touchdowns, Murray was limited to seven touches and just 17 scoreless yards. Chasing his huge Week 12 proved to be fool's gold for fantasy managers, as Murray took a backseat to Alvin Kamara and Taysom Hill in the ground game. Murray's yardage was his lowest of the season, and he'll be tough to trust when the Saints travel to Philadelphia in Week 14.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB | KC
Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Limited to decoy duties
Edwards-Helaire (illness) has not played a snap in Sunday's game against the Broncos, as Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that he has spent the entire game standing on the sidelines.
Edwards-Helaire wasn't able to practice Thursday or Friday due to a stomach flu, and it appears he's only active as insurance in case of injuries to the team's other running backs. Le'Veon Bell has been bottled up by the Broncos in Edwards-Helaire's absence. The rookie first-rounder's practice participation in the coming week should help determine his status for the Chiefs' Week 14 trip to Miami. Coach Andy Reid said after the game that Edwards-Helaire lost some weight due to the stomach illness and was kept out of game action against Denver as a result, per Nate Taylor of The Athletic.

Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Huge effort to put game away
Jones carried the ball 15 times for 130 yards and a touchdown and caught all three of his targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Eagles.
The Philly defense did a good job keeping Jones in check for three quarters, but he finally broke free in the fourth and put the game out of reach with a highlight-reel 77-yard TD run. Jones could be headed for another huge performance in Week 14 against a Lions defense that just surrendered 111 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns to David Montgomery.
-
Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Racks up 95 scrimmage yards
Harris carried 16 times for 80 yards and caught his only target for 15 additional yards during Sunday's 45-0 win over the Chargers.
Harris averaged a healthy 5.0 yards per carry and added his longest reception of the season, though it went for modest yardage. He finished with his third-highest allotment of touches in a game this season but could've easily had more if Cam Newton and Sony Michel didn't combine for 24 carries. Harris seems entrenched in an early-down role and has been quite effective on a per-touch basis, but he should continue to share the load to some degree in Thursday's matchup with the Rams.
-
Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Eagles' Miles Sanders: Held in check in loss
Sanders carried the ball 10 times for 31 yards and failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 30-16 loss to the Packers.
He was actually the Eagles' leading rusher on the day, though Carson Wentz and Jalen Hurts combined for 47 rushing yards between them. Sanders has now had two quiet performances in a row, and things won't get any easier for him in Week 14 against the Saints.
-
Kenyan Drake RB | GB
Cardinals' Kenyan Drake: Finds end zone in loss to Rams
Drake carried the ball 10 times for 49 yards and a touchdown and caught two of three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 38-28 loss to the Rams.
While the yardage wasn't impressive, Drake's four-yard TD run in the fourth quarter brought the Cards to within a field goal before the Rams pulled away. He's already set a new career high in rushing yards this season, and Sunday's score tied his career high with eight rushing touchdowns. Drake could be productive again in Week 14 against a Giants defense that stifled Russell Wilson in an upset win over Seattle but gave up 110 scrimmage yards and a TD to Chris Carson.
-
Austin Ekeler RB | WAS
Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Usage wanes in blowout
Ekeler carried eight times for 36 yards and caught four of nine targets for 32 yards during Sunday's 45-0 loss to the Patriots.
Ekeler averaged a respectable 4.5 yards per carry but saw his carries limited by the surprising blowout nature of the game. Although he tied for second on the team in targets, he hauled in less than half the balls thrown his way and saw his output limited in that regard as well. Ekeler was coming off an excellent performance in his previous outing and will look to bounce back next Sunday in what could be a high-scoring game against the Falcons.

Cam Akers RB | SEA
Rams' Cam Akers: Leads backfield against Cards
Akers carried the ball 21 times for 72 yards and a touchdown and caught his only target for 22 yards in Sunday's 38-28 win over the Cardinals.
Darrell Henderson and Malcolm Brown combined for only six carries and nine touches, marking the second straight week in which Akers has been the Rams' most productive RB. The rookie will look to continue his climb to the top spot on the depth chart in Week 14 against a surging Patriots defense that just shut out the Chargers.
