  • Rashaad Penny RB | CAR

Seahawks' Rashaad Penny: Ready for Monday

Penny (calf), who was designated to return from injured reserve Friday, said that he shouldn't have any limitations Monday against the Saints, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Penny has been out since Week 1 and returns to a backfield missing top option Chris Carson (neck). Fellow veteran Alex Collins has filled in effectively, but he's now missing practice time with a groin injury, potentially leaving just Penny, DeeJay Dallas and Travis Homer as the options for Monday. It's possible Penny would be the lead runner in that scenario, though injuries of his own have limited him to four games over the past two seasons. Dallas could also be the choice, while Homer has mostly been used for pass blocking and third downs. Expect the Seahawks to formally activate Penny from IR by Sunday.

  • Jordan Wilkins RB | CLE

Colts' Jordan Wilkins: Won't play Sunday

Wilkins (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at San Francisco.

Wilkins has missed the past two games while battling the illness, and he'll be sidelined again for this weekend. The 27-year-old will need to return to practice in some capacity before having a chance to return to game action.

  • 49ers' JaMycal Hasty: Practicing Friday, could face Colts

Hasty (ankle) is participating in Friday's practice, and he's eligible to be removed from IR before Sunday's game against the Colts, Cam Inman of the San Jose Mercury, East Bay Times reports.

If Hasty looks good in practice, he could re-enter San Francisco's running back rotation as soon as Sunday. Based on his usage prior to his IR stint, Hasty will likely work as the No. 2 option behind Elijah Mitchell and ahead of Trey Sermon once he's cleared to return. Hasty will need to be officially removed from IR before he can suit up, though as this point, it's almost a foregone conclusion that he'll be back at some point before the 21-day activation window expires.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

    Giants' Saquon Barkley: Officially out

Barkley (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Carolina, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

While Barkley was out last week, Devontae Booker took on a 72-percent snap share and 16 touches in a 38-11 loss to the Rams. Though he hasn't yet returned to practice since suffering a sprained left ankle, Barkley will have an extra day on the schedule to help him try to avoid a third straight absence, with the Giants facing the Chiefs on "Monday Night Football" in Week 8.

  • Football Team's Antonio Gibson: Expects to play

Gibson (shin), though listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers, said Friday that he's confident he'll play this weekend, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

The running back acknowledged suffering a painful aggravation of his injury last weekend, but he said it didn't affect his play once he returned to the field against Kansas City. He now plans to tough it out for what will be at least a fourth straight week playing through a stress fracture, though it's possible J.D. McKissic gets more work if Gibson runs into trouble again. Fantasy managers should check back in before Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, as it's possible the team views Gibson as a game-time decision, even if the player himself isn't worried about his status.

  • Avery Williams RB | NYJ

Falcons' Avery Williams: Doubtful for Week 7

Williams (hamstring) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Williams was also listed as doubtful for Atlanta's Week 5 game against the Jets and went on to sit that one out. Despite having an extra week to recover during Atlanta's Week 6 bye, the rookie defensive back and kick returner will most likely miss a second consecutive game barring an unexpected improvement in his hamstring's health.

  • Football Team's Antonio Gibson: Questionable for Sunday

Gibson (shin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Green Bay, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Gibson aggravated the stress fracture in his shin during last week's loss to the Chiefs, though game script may have been the larger factor in his season-low 40 percent snap share. His missed practice Wednesday was another potential sign of trouble, but Gibson then bounced back with limited participation Thursday and Friday, seemingly preparing to play through the injury again. Fantasy managers should nonetheless consider him questionable ahead of Washington's 1 p.m. ET kickoff in Green Bay this Sunday, with J.D. McKissic and Jaret Patterson being the team's backfield alternatives.

  • Rashaad Penny RB | CAR

Seahawks' Rashaad Penny: Returns to practice

Penny (calf) took part in Thursday's practice, signaling that the Seahawks have designated him for a return from injured reserve, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

The 25-year-old was back on the field for the first time since Sept. 12, when he injured his calf in the Seahawks' season-opening win over the Colts. According to Ty Dane Gonzalez of SI.com, Penny was a full participant in the portion of Thursday's practice that was open to the media, which seemingly bodes well for the running back making good on head coach Pete Carroll's prediction that he'll be available to play Monday against the Saints. Meanwhile, Chris Carson (neck) is stuck on IR through Week 9, and the next man up out of the backfield, Alex Collins (groin) didn't practice Thursday and is uncertain to suit up this week. As such, Penny could find himself with a decent-sized workload Week 7, assuming the Seahawks are comfortable reinstating him from IR prior to the deadline for roster moves.

  • Ravens' Latavius Murray: Misses another practice

Murray (ankle) remained sidelined at practice Friday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

The Ravens' final Week 7 injury report will reveal whether Murray has any chance to play Sunday against the Bengals, but following a full week of DNPs, he's trending toward missing the contest. If so, Hensley indicates that Devonta Freeman could get his first start at RB for Baltimore, with Le'Veon Bell also in the mix and Ty'Son Williams a candidate to suit up this weekend after being inactive in Week 6.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Misses practice again

Barkley (ankle) isn't practicing Friday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

He's missed every practice for a second straight week and thus appears likely to sit out Sunday against the Panthers. The same goes for wideouts Kenny Golladay (knee) and Kadarius Toney (ankle), whereas Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton (hamstring) suited up for Friday's practice. With Barkley out last week, Devontae Booker handled a 72-percent snap share and took 16 touches for 69 yards.
