Jermar Jefferson RB | SF
Lions' Jermar Jefferson: Surprisingly minimal offensive role
Jefferson logged five offensive snaps but did not record a touch during Sunday's 38-10 loss to Denver.
Many thought Jefferson would take on a key role in the absence of D'Andre Swift (shoulder) and Jamaal Williams (COVID-19). However, coach Dan Campbell said after the game that the running back was not a big part of the practice rotation in the week before due to an ankle injury in combination with having the flu, which allowed Godwin Igwebuike and Craig Reynolds to carry the load. In any case, if either of Swift or Williams return Week 15 against Arizona, none on these depth players will be worth further fantasy consideration anyway.

Scottie Phillips RB | HOU
Texans' Scottie Phillips: Won't return in Week 15
Phillips (ankle) won't be activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against Jacksonville, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Although Phillips will be forced to miss a fifth consecutive game due to his ankle injury, coach David Culley remains optimistic that the running back will be able to return prior to the end of the regular season. The 24-year-old logged six carries for 13 yards while securing two of three targets for nine yards across his first three appearances of the year.

Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Broncos' Melvin Gordon: Dealing with sprained thumb
Gordon suffered a sprained thumb during Sunday's blowout win over the Lions, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Gordon was able to re-enter Sunday's contest after initially suffering the injury, and he ended up handling 24 carries for 111 yards and two scores, so it doesn't appear as though his involvement will need to be limited going forward. Of course, the Broncos do also have a rookie who's proven more than capable of carrying the load in Javonte Williams, which could influence the team's decision-making if Gordon's injury ends up being more serious than expected. Denver will take on Cincinnati in Week 15.

Ameer Abdullah RB | JAC
Panthers' Ameer Abdullah: Leads tailbacks in snaps
Abdullah rushed four times for 16 yards and caught two of four targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Falcons.
Abdullah, due to his superior pass-catching skills, actually played 13 more offensive snaps than fellow tailback Chuba Hubbard. Both players managed just 33 scrimmage yards, but Hubbard scored a touchdown to boost his performance and tied for the team lead with 10 carries. With a tough matchup in Week 15 at the Bills, the game flow could again favor Abdullah, but Buffalo's defense could make it difficult to muster much yardage.

DeeJay Dallas RB | JAC
Seahawks' DeeJay Dallas: Carries twice in win
Dallas rushed twice for 16 yards in Sunday's 33-13 win over the Texans. He also returned two kicks for 41 yards.
Dallas recorded just 10 offensive snaps even though Travis Homer (calf) was out of the lineup, finishing behind Rashaad Penny (35) and Alex Collins (14). He's highly valuable for the Seahawks on special teams, but fantasy managers don't need to keep tabs on him unless Penny or Collins is injured.
-
Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ
Bears' Khalil Herbert: Barely used in offense
Herbert rushed once for three yards in the Bears' 45-30 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
With Damien Williams returning from a calf injury, Herbert served as the third-string running back, though he was used as the Bears' primary kick returner. Aside from leagues that include return yardage, Herbert won't likely see enough usage to be a lineup option in the fantasy playoffs unless David Montgomery is forced to miss time.

Demetric Felton RB | WAS
Browns' Demetric Felton: Muffs returns
Felton did not play on offense and muffed two punt returns in Sunday's 24-22 win over Baltimore.
Fortunately for the Browns, Felton recovered both muffs, but that was it for his day. JoJo Natson replaced him on punt returns the rest of the way. Following a drop in the Browns' previous game, Felton appears to be on shaky ground. While he did not play on offense, there was one significant development that could create an opportunity for him Week 15 against the Raiders. Fellow back Kareem Hunt sustained an ankle injury and could be unavailable next Sunday.
-
D'Ernest Johnson RB | NE
Browns' D'Ernest Johnson: Fills in for injured Hunt
Johnson had four carries for 22 yards and caught his lone target for seven yards in Sunday's 24-22 win over the Ravens.
Johnson did not play on offense when the Browns and Ravens hooked up in Week 12 due to the availability of both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. However, Hunt sustained an ankle injury Sunday and was limited to 13 snaps, paving the way for Johnson to have a role. More will be known about Hunt's status heading into a Week 15 road game against Las Vegas after the running back undergoes testing Monday. If Hunt's unable to go, Johnson will slot in as the backup to Chubb.
-
Damien Williams RB | ARI
Bears' Damien Williams: Limited work in backup role
Williams rushed twice for 13 yards while catching his only target for four yards in the Bears' 45-30 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
In his return from a calf injury, Williams took over the backup role from Khalil Herbert, though it only resulted in three touches. With David Montgomery entrenched in a workhorse role, it's unlikely Williams earns a significant number of touches in the fantasy playoffs.
-
David Montgomery RB | HOU
Bears' David Montgomery: Totals 81 yards in loss
Montgomery (shoulder/groin/glute) rushed 10 times for 42 yards and notched six receptions (seven targets) for 39 yards in Sunday's 45-30 loss to Green Bay.
Montgomery left his dominant performance last week (141 total yards and a touchdown) with some battle scars, but he still produced well despite an unfavorable game script in the second half. When healthy, the 24-year-old is the Bears' most-consistent offensive weapon, but Chicago's inability to produce leads puts a cap on what the running back can do in certain matchups. Montgomery has a favorable matchup against the Vikings next Monday (19.1 fantasy points allowed to opposing RBs this season) if the Bears can keep the score close.
