Devin Singletary RB | NYG
Bills' Devin Singletary: Ascent continues in win
Singletary rushed 23 times for 110 yards and two touchdowns and failed to bring in his only target in the Bills' 29-15 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
Singletary logged double-digit carries for the third straight game and continued to make good use of the opportunity, churning out a season-high yardage total while logging his third and fourth rushing touchdowns of the last three games in the process. He found the end zone from six and four yards out in the second half to bring Buffalo back from a surprising 15-14 halftime deficit, and the performance came at the timeliest of moments for fantasy managers. The vulnerable Jets run defense should serve as an appealing tune-up for the postseason for Singletary in Week 18.

Rhamondre Stevenson RB | NE
Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Big performance in return
Stevenson rushed 19 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns in the Patriots' 50-10 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
The rookie made a splashy return from a one-game absence due to COVID-19, helping carry the load after Damien Harris exited the game with a hamstring injury. Stevenson got into the end zone from one and six yards out in the third and fourth quarters, respectively, on his way to a career-high rushing yardage total. Harris did downplay the hamstring issue after the game, but if he were to be rested in the Week 18 finale against the Dolphins as a precaution, Stevenson presumably would be in line for an even heavier workload than Sunday's.

Derrick Gore RB | WAS
Chiefs' Derrick Gore: Just four touches in Week 17
Gore rushed three times for 37 yards and caught his only target for eight yards in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Bengals.
Despite Clyde Edwards-Helaire's (shoulder) absence, Gore got just four touches while Darrel Williams racked up over 100 yards and two touchdowns on his 17 touches. Even if Edwards-Helaire remains sidelined against the Broncos in Week 18, Gore may not see many opportunities behind Williams as the Chiefs try to secure the lone first-round bye in the AFC.

Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Stays busy in win
Mixon rushed 12 times for 46 yards while catching seven of eight targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 34-31 win over Kansas City.
Mixon put forth a workmanlike effort, racking up 86 scrimmage yards despite none of his 19 touches going for more than 15 yards. He was stuffed from the Chiefs' one-yard line on the Bengals' final drive, but that proved to be a blessing in disguise for Cincinnati, as a subsequent penalty on the defense allowed the Bengals to run out the clock before kicking a game-winning field goal. Mixon has at least 18 touches in each of his last nine games heading into the season finale in Cleveland.

Darrel Williams RB | NO
Chiefs' Darrel Williams: Big game in lead role
Williams rushed 14 times for 88 yards and two touchdowns while catching all three of his targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Bengals.
Williams excelled in the lead role with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) inactive. He benefited from Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes being ruled just short of the goal line on two separate second-quarter drives, as the running back scored a one-yard touchdown on the ensuing play in both cases. If Edwards-Helaire can't go in the season finale against Denver, Williams should continue to lead the Chiefs backfield as Kansas City attempts to secure the top seed in the AFC.

Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Downplays hamstring issue
When asked about the hamstring issue that forced him out of Sunday's 50-10 win over the Jaguars, Harris replied, "I'm good."
Given that the running had been managing a hamstring injury heading into the contest and that the game turned into a blowout, it seems plausible that Harris gave way to Rhamondre Stevenson as a precaution. While it appears as though Harris avoided a serious setback, we'd still expect him to be limited in practice as next Sunday's game against the Dolphins approaches.
-
David Montgomery RB | HOU
Bears' David Montgomery: Scores twice in victory
Montgomery rushed 22 times for 64 yards and two touchdowns while adding two receptions for 17 yards in the Bears' 29-3 win over the Giants on Sunday.
In a game the Bears controlled throughout, Montgomery was used to control the clock on the ground, though he was unable to break a run longer than 10 yards on the day. However, he took advantage of his opportunities at the goal line by scoring a pair of touchdowns. After posting at least 80 combined yards in each of his last five games, he remain a high-floor fantasy option in the season finale at Minnesota in Week 18.
-
Jermar Jefferson RB | SF
Lions' Jermar Jefferson: Inactive against Seattle
Jefferson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
Jefferson is a healthy scratch for the second consecutive game, which is unsurprising given that both Jamaal Williams and D'Andre Swift (shoulder) are available. Craig Reynolds and Godwin Igwebuike make up the rest of the Lions' backfield, though their role is likely to be limited.
-
Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Injures hamstring
Harris was forced out of Sunday's game against the Jaguars with a hamstring injury.
Prior to his exit from the contest, Harris carried nine times for 35 yards and two TDs and caught one pass for 12 yards. In his absence, Rhamondre Stevenson is in line for added early-down work out of the Patriots' backfield. Harris has been dealing with a hamstring issue of late, so it looks like he may have aggravated that injury. At the very least, look for the running back's practice participation ahead of Week 18 action to be impacted.

Chase Edmonds RB | WAS
Cardinals' Chase Edmonds: To be lead back again Sunday
Edmonds will be the Cardinals' primary running back for Sunday's game in Dallas with James Conner (heel) sidelined, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Taking on the mantle of unquestioned No.1 running back Week 16 versus the Colts with Conner not available for that contest, Edmonds handled 24 touches and turned them into 127 yards from scrimmage and one TD. Edmonds should be poised for a similar workload versus Dallas' 12th-ranked run defense (109.5 yards per game).
