Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Eagles' Miles Sanders: Not practicing
Sanders (hamstring) isn't practicing Wednesday, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia reports.
Out for the past two and a half weeks, Sanders missed another practice 11 days before Philadelphia's season opener in Detroit. If Sanders can't play Week 1, Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell are next up for touches, but it's currently unclear which of the two would get more work.

Patrick Taylor RB | SF
Patrick Taylor: Signs practice squad deal
The Packers signed Taylor to their practice squad Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
With Kylin Hill (knee) sidelined, Taylor and Tyler Goodson competed during training camp for the No. 3 spot behind Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. Taylor did his best to earn the job, rushing 18 times for 71 yards while catching three passes for 17 yards across three exhibition contests. However, the Packers opted to keep just two running backs on their initial 53-man roster, with the understanding that Amari Rodgers or Randall Cobb could handle emergency RB duties if Jones or Dillon went down with an injury. Regardless, Taylor and Goodson are both candidates to be elevated on a weekly basis now that they are members of the practice squad.

Tyler Goodson RB | ATL
Tyler Goodson: Returns to Green Bay
The Packers signed Goodson to their practice squad Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
With Kylin Hill (knee) sidelined, Goodson and Patrick Taylor dueled during the preseason for the No. 3 spot behind Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. Goodson did his best to earn the gig, totaling 29 rushes for 107 yards and one score across three exhibition contests. However, neither Goodson nor Taylor ultimately made the initial 53-man roster as the Packers opted to only keep two running backs, with the understanding that Amari Rodgers or Randall Cobb could handle emergency RB duties if Jones or Dillon went down with an injury. Regardless, Goodson and Taylor are both candidates to be elevated on a weekly basis now that they are members of the practice squad.

Jaret Patterson RB | LAC
Jaret Patterson: Back with Washington
The Commanders signed Patterson to their practice squad Wednesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Patterson had a solid preseason, rushing 16 times for 63 yards while catching five passes for 47 yards, but he failed to make the initial 53-man roster. With Brian Robinson (lower body) out for the foreseeable future, it's possible Patterson sees an elevation as early as Week 1.

Jordan Mason RB | MIN
49ers' Jordan Mason: Makes 53-man roster
Mason was included on the 49ers' initial 53-man roster Tuesday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Barring any changes to the roster heading into the Sept. 11 season opener at Chicago, Mason will be one of five running backs for the 49ers. The undrafted rookie out of Georgia Tech earned his spot by leading the 49ers in rushing this preseason, averaging 4.9 yards per carry while totaling 94 yards on the ground. He won't get much run early in the season due to the depth San Francisco carries at the position. That said, Elijah Mitchell (knee) -- who is expected to be ready by Week 1 -- comes into the season banged up, and there's no guarantee that either Trey Sermon or Tyrion Davis-Price will hold their spots above Mason on the depth chart.

Tyler Badie RB | DEN
Tyler Badie: Back with Baltimore
The Ravens signed Badie to their practice squad Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Badie, a rookie sixth-round pick, saw a lot of work during the preseason but didn't land a spot on the initial 53-man roster. However, he'll look to refine his craft and maybe garner a promotion or two while he spends the majority of his first NFL season on the practice squad.

JaMycal Hasty RB | NE
Jaguars' JaMycal Hasty: Claimed by Jacksonville
The Jaguars claimed Hasty off waivers from the 49ers on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Hasty served as a third-down back for San Francisco a year ago, catching 23 passes for 157 yards, but didn't make the team's initial 53-man roster in 2022. However, he quickly found a new home in Jacksonville and will compete for a backup role with Snoop Conner behind Travis Etienne and James Robinson.
-
Patrick Laird RB | TB
Patrick Laird: Joins Bucs' practice squad
Laird was signed to the Buccaneers' practice squad Wednesday, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.
Laird will return to the Buccaneers after he was waived Tuesday. The running back will begin the 2022 season on the practice squad, but he provides the team with another backfield option with NFL experience.
-
Marlon Mack RB | ARI
Marlon Mack: Will join Houston's practice squad
Mack plans to sign with the Texans' practice squad upon clearing waivers Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Mack was a surprising roster cut Tuesday, but he looks poised to remain a backfield option for Houston after all. For now, Dameon Pierce and Rex Burkhead are the top available options on the team's 53-man roster, but if Mack indeed lands on the team's practice squad, he'll be eligible for elevation whenever the Texans require an additional option in the backfield.

Benny Snell RB | DET
Steelers' Benny Snell: Secures spot on final roster
Snell is included on Pittsburgh's 53-man roster ahead of the 2022 regular season, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Snell was relatively quiet during the preseason after recovering from a knee injury, as he rushed eight times for 13 yards while securing two of three targets for 15 yards and a touchdown over two appearances. However, he was still able to fend off Anthony McFarland for a spot on the 53-man roster. Najee Harris will serve as Pittsburgh's clear lead back again, and it's possible that Snell has to settle for a No. 3 role in the Steelers' backfield after undrafted rookie Jaylen Warren earned a roster spot following a strong offseason.
