Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Powers Giants' offense
Barkley rushed the ball 31 times for 146 yards in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Bears. He added two receptions for 16 yards.
As has been the case for most of the season, the Giants' offense ran through Barkley, as he tallied 31 carries while the team took to the air only 16 total times. He ripped off five rushes of more than 10 yards and has four gains of more than 20 yards through four games -- more than he posted in 13 matchups last season. The only complaint could be that Barkley failed to find the end zone, but he's now tallied over 100 total yards in three of four games to begin the campaign.

Jamaal Williams RB | NO
Lions' Jamaal Williams: Two touchdowns in loss
Williams rushed 19 times for 108 yards and two touchdowns and secured his only target for one yard in the Lions' 48-45 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.
Game script eventually capped Williams' overall opportunity, but not before he handled a true lead-back workload and delivered handsomely with it. The veteran back went in from one and 51 yards in the second and third quarters, respectively, with the first score coming on the final play of the first half and the second an impressive scamper up the right side of the field that showed off Williams' speed. With D'Andre Swift (shoulder) seemingly always hampered by at least one injury and his status uncertain for a Week 5 road battle against the Saints, Williams could be in for another solid workload versus New Orleans.

Tony Pollard RB | TEN
Cowboys' Tony Pollard: Struggles from scrimmage
Pollard ran for six yards on eight carries in a win against Washington on Sunday and caught one pass for two yards on three targets.
The Washington defense prioritized shutting down the Dallas ground game in this one, so Pollard, and to a lesser extent, Ezekiel Elliott (49 yards on 19 carries) struggled to get any traction with their touches Sunday. A Week 5 matchup against the Rams isn't an obvious source of encouragement for Pollard as he looks to bounce back, but this box score should prove an anomaly going forward.

Derrick Henry RB | BAL
Titans' Derrick Henry: Racks up another 147 yards
Henry carried the ball 22 times for 114 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Colts. He added three receptions for 33 yards.
Henry had a tremendous first half, posting 99 rushing yards on 14 carries. The highlight came on a 19-yard rushing touchdown, but he also chipped in three carries that went for more than 10 yards. While his production slowed in the second half, Henry topped 100 rushing yards for the first time this season. Notably, he also has eight receptions combined across his last two games.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Good volume but mediocre returns
Elliott ran for 49 yards on 19 carries while catching two passes for 32 yards on two targets in a win over Washington on Sunday.
The Washington defense showed a lot of respect to the Dallas ground game Sunday, which was unfortunate for Elliott's fantasy investors but played a big role in why Cooper Rush was able to produce efficiently as a passer in the 25-10 win. Washington succeeded in its attempt to sell out against the run, but the fact it still lost shows Elliott did his part in the win. Tony Pollard was similarly held to six yards on eight carries. Unfortunately for Elliott, he gets a potentially tough Week 5 matchup against the Rams.

Rashaad Penny RB | CAR
Seahawks' Rashaad Penny: Blasts through century mark in win
Penny rushed 17 times for 151 yards and two touchdowns and brought in his only target for six yards in the Seahawks' 48-45 win over the Lions on Sunday.
Penny kept up his strong start to the season with his first 100-yard game of the campaign, getting past the mark largely on the back of 36- and 41-yard touchdown runs in the second half that helped seal the wild win for Seattle. The latter scamper came at an especially critical time, transpiring with 2:14 remaining after the Lions had closed to within three points. Penny's pair of trips to the end zone were also his first of the season, and he'll take an impressive 6.0 yards per carry figure into a tough Week 5 road matchup against the Saints' talented defensive front.
-
Austin Ekeler RB | WAS
Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Explodes for three total touchdowns
Ekeler carried the ball 13 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 34-24 win over the Texans. He added six receptions on seven targets for 49 yards and a touchdown.
Ekeler had largely been bottled up on the ground through the first three games of the season, but he exploded for a big performance both on the ground and as a receiver. He tallied both of his rushing scores prior to halftime, punching the ball in from 10 and 20 yards, respectively. Sony Michel got expanded work on the ground in the second half as the Chargers tried to run out the clock, but Ekeler did clinch the victory with a 14-yard receiving score toward the end of the fourth quarter. While he has been inconsistent as a rusher, Ekeler has at least six receptions and 48 yards in each of his last three games.
-
Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Eagles' Miles Sanders: Explodes for 156 total yards
Sanders rushed 27 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns while catching two of three targets for 22 yards in Sunday's 29-21 win over the Jaguars.
Sanders nearly doubled his total yards from scrimmage from the previous three games in one fell swoop, chipping in his second and third touchdowns for good measure. The lack of targets out of the backfield (nine through four games) remains a minor issue for the fourth-year back, but the results on the ground have been strong early on. Sanders should be treated as an RB1 heading into next Sunday's tilt against the Cardinals.
-
Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ
Bears' Khalil Herbert: Tops 100 scrimmage yards in start
Herbert rushed 19 times for 77 yards and caught his only target for 24 yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Giants.
After averaging 7.3 yards per carry through three games, Herbert failed to find as much room as the focal point of Chicago's run-first offense with David Montgomery (ankle/knee) sidelined. Even if Montgomery returns in Week 5 against the Vikings, Herbert should maintain a prominent role in Chicago's run-heavy offense as he looks to top 100 scrimmage yards for a third consecutive week.

Devin Singletary RB | NYG
Bills' Devin Singletary: Solid all-around showing in win
Singletary rushed 11 times for 49 yards and secured four of five targets for 47 yards in the Bills' 23-20 win over the Ravens on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.
Singletary finished with a strong fantasy performance overall despite the lack of touchdowns and a first-quarter lost fumble that led to a Ravens field goal. The versatile back was once again encouragingly involved in the passing game after racking up a season-high nine receptions in Week 3, and Sunday's effort on the ground marked his first time over 4.0 yards per carry since Week 1. Singletary's next opportunity to build on his early season production comes in a Week 5 home matchup against the Steelers.
