  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Logs limited session Wednesday

Jones (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Jones didn't play beyond the middle of the third quarter this past Sunday at Detroit due to a left ankle injury. Subsequent tests, including an X-ray, returned negative, putting Jones on a path to play Sunday against the Cowboys. Jones' ability to mix into drills Wednesday generally supports that notion, but his status will continue to be watched to ensure he'll be available this weekend.

  • Kyren Williams RB | LAR

Rams' Kyren Williams: Could play this week

Rams head coach Sean McVay said Wednesday that Williams (ankle) has a good shot to play Sunday against the Cardinals, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

The Rams designated the rookie to return from injured reserve Oct. 26, opening a 21-day window where he can either be reinstated to the active roster or ruled out for the rest of the season. The team can technically keep Williams out for another game and then activate him next week, but it sounds like McVay expects the running back to be ready by Sunday. The fifth-round pick makes for an interesting bench stash in fantasy leagues, given the unsettled nature of the Rams' backfield.

  • Deon Jackson RB | DET

Colts' Deon Jackson: Not practicing to start week

Jackson was held out of practice Wednesday with a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Taylor (ankle) returned to practice as a limited participant after missing a 26-3 loss to the Patriots on Sunday. Jackson was the lead back in that game but finished with only 36 yards on 13 touches in an ugly outing for the Indianapolis offense in what turned out to be Frank Reich's final game as head coach. It's possible Jackson gets another start Sunday in Las Vegas, but only if he makes progress later in the week while Taylor heads the other direction.

  • Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Returns to limited practice

Taylor (ankle) was listed as a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

Taylor was deemed a non-participant at practice last week before being ruled out ahead of Sunday's loss to the Patriots, but his return to a limited session Wednesday suggests that the running back is trending in the right direction ahead of this weekend's game against the Raiders. Meanwhile, Deon Jackson -- who started in place of Taylor in Week 9 -- sat out the Colts' first practice of the week due to a knee issue.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Lions' D'Andre Swift: Remains limited at practice

Swift (ankle/shoulder) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

After missing three games due to ankle and shoulder injuries, Swift returned to action Week 8 against the Dolphins, earning a 52 percent snap share and 10 touches in the process. He proceeded to have practice limitations last week before being active this past Sunday against the Packers, but he fell all the way back to 16 percent of the plays and just five touches. Head coach Dan Campbell told Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com on Monday that Swift didn't incur any setbacks in that game, and added that he hopes the team "can give him a little bit more this week." Swift may have to get back to a full session Thursday and/or Friday to have any chance at a normal workload Sunday in Chicago, but Jamaal Williams and Justin Jackson are on hand in the event the former's snap count again is capped this weekend.

  • Dameon Pierce RB | PHI

Texans' Dameon Pierce: Reps capped in practice

Pierce was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to chest and shoulder injuries.

During last Thursday's loss to the Eagles, Pierce was on the field for 47 of a possible 60 snaps on offense and carrying 27 times for 139 yards. With no reported setbacks in that contest, Pierce may have been limited Wednesday for maintenance purposes, so at this stage, fantasy managers have no major reason to worry about his status for Sunday's game against the Giants. Added context with regard to the running back's Week 10 availability will arrive upon the release of Thursday's practice report.

  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: No suspension expected this year

Kamara is unlikely to be suspended this season with his trial date scheduled for March 1 in connection to his involvement in an alleged assault that occurred in Las Vegas past February, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

The league office has declined to suspend Kamara even with video evidence and seemingly intends to wait until the legal process plays out before considering a suspension and/or fine for the running back. The NFL could change its view on the matter, but at this stage, any potential games that Kamara misses as a result of the incident from last February aren't likely to come until 2023.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

    Packers' Aaron Jones: Practicing Wednesday

Jones (ankle) is taking part in practice Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Reports from Monday suggested that the Packers don't expect Jones to miss time after his early exit from a loss to the Lions in Week 9. With X-rays on Jones' ankle returning negative and the running back already practicing, he's on track to play Sunday against a tough Dallas defense.

  • Colts' Jonathan Taylor: At practice Wednesday

Taylor (ankle) was present for Wednesday's practice, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.

Taylor didn't practice last week before being ruled out in advance of Sunday's loss to the Patriots, but his presence at Wednesday's session is a positive indicator for his status ahead of this weekend's contest versus the Raiders. The Colts will release their first official Week 10 injury report later Wednesday, when the extent of the running back's participation in practice will be clarified.

  • D'vonte Price RB | IND

D'Vonte Price: Placed on PS injured list

Indianapolis placed Price (undisclosed) on the practice squad injured list Wednesday.

Price will be ineligible for elevation for the next four games after being placed on the practice squad injured list. The running back has been elevated once this season (Week 6), but he saw just two snaps on special teams. In a corresponding move, the Colts signed tight end Darrell Daniels to their practice squad.
