  • Nick Chubb RB | HOU

Browns' Nick Chubb: Struggles in Cincy

Chubb rushed 14 times for 34 yards and caught all three of his targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 23-10 loss to the Bengals.

Chubb's attempts were limited by Cleveland playing from behind throughout, and he didn't do much with the opportunities he received. While Chubb tied his season high with three catches, he simply isn't involved enough in the passing game to make up the difference when he's bottled up on the ground. The star running back's first multi-game touchdown drought has coincided with Deshaun Watson's first two starts for the Browns, and Chubb will look to end this slump in Week 15 against the Ravens, who allowed one of his 12 rushing touchdowns back in Week 7.

  • Mike Boone RB | MIA

Broncos' Mike Boone: Injures ankle Sunday

Boone was carted off the field during Sunday's game against the Chiefs after suffering an ankle injury, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Before his exit from the contest, Boone ran three times for two yards and caught two passes for 27 yards. In his absence, Latavius Murray and Marlon Mack will handle Denver's Week 14 backfield touches.

  • Joe Mixon RB | HOU

Bengals' Joe Mixon: Solid return effort

Mixon had 14 carries for 96 yards and two catches for 10 yards in Sunday's win over the Browns.

As the Bengals promised, they did also include Samaje Perine (4-22-1, plus one catch for two yards on five targets) in the offense, but Mixon was the primary ballcarrier and the one they turned to frequently to finish off the game in the second half.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Limited in Week 14 loss

Barkley rushed nine times for 28 yards and brought in both targets for 20 yards in the Giants' 48-22 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.

Barkley came into the pregame warmups with his status up in the air due to a neck injury, and he ultimately played just 20 snaps, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com. However, Raanan notes head coach Brian Daboll said the star running back was not on any kind of pre-determined snap limit, and the fact Barkley didn't play from late in the third quarter onward was a byproduct of the lopsided score. Barkley will have an opportunity to be in better overall shape going into a critical Week 15 Sunday night battle against the Commanders.

  • Michael Carter RB | TEN

Jets' Michael Carter: Struggles in return from injury

Carter (ankle) rushed five times for five yards and caught three of six targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to Buffalo. He also lost a fumble.

Carter ceded most of the backfield opportunities to Zonovan Knight, who rushed for 71 yards and New York's only touchdown on 17 attempts. The former also lost a crucial fumble just outside the red zone with the Jets trailing by 11 in the fourth quarter. This disastrous performance won't help Carter cut into Knight's workload in Week 15, though there could be enough opportunities to go around for both Jets running backs to find success against the leaky Lions run defense.

  • Zonovan Knight RB | ARI

Jets' Zonovan Knight: Leads backfield in Carter's return

Knight rushed 17 times for 71 yards and a touchdown while catching both of his targets for six yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Bills.

Knight was bottled up in the first half but finally broke free for a 13-yard touchdown run on the first possession after halftime, shaking off tackles to tie the score at seven. He finished with 19 touches to eight for Michael Carter, who mustered only 20 scrimmage yards and lost a crucial fumble in his return from an ankle injury. Knight has 298 scrimmage yards through his first three NFL games and should maintain the lead role in Week 15 against the generous Lions run defense.

  • Miles Sanders RB | DAL

Eagles' Miles Sanders: Season-best yardage total in win

Sanders rushed 17 times for 144 yards and two touchdowns and brought in one of three targets for 11 yards in the Eagles' 48-22 win over the Giants on Sunday.

Sanders eclipsed his previous season-high rushing yardage tally by one and turned in an ultra-efficient outing overall, with a 40-yard touchdown run just past the midway point of the fourth quarter serving as the proverbial icing on the cake. The versatile back had also opened the scoring with a three-yard touchdown run with just over four minutes remaining in the first quarter, his second time with multiple trips to the end zone in the last three games. Sanders should be set up for another productive day in a Week 15 road matchup against the Bears' porous rush defense.

  • Tony Jones RB | ARI

Seahawks' Tony Jones: Timeshare on tap Sunday?

GM John Schneider said on Seattle Sports pregame show that he expects Jones, Travis Homer and Godwin Igwebuike all to get work in the Seahawks backfield Sunday versus the Panthers with Kenneth Walker (ankle) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) inactive.

Jones has a chance to produce Week 14 with two of Seattle's top three running backs sidelined. Still, his overall stat line this season (seven carries for 14 yards, two catches for 18 yards) pales in comparison to Homer's (9-43-0 and 10-124-1, respectively). Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier Sunday that Jones could get the start over Homer, but considering Schneider's comment a timeshare may be in store for this backfield, which doesn't bode well for any of Jones, Homer or Igwebuike to put up a notable fantasy day.

  • Travis Homer RB | PIT

Seahawks' Travis Homer: May be set for timeshare Sunday

GM John Schneider said on Seattle Sports pregame show that he expects Homer, Tony Jones and Godwin Igwebuike all to get work in the Seahawks backfield Sunday against the Panthers with Kenneth Walker (ankle) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) inactive.

Homer will get a prime opportunity to produce with two of Seattle's top three running backs sidelined. On the season, he's averaged 4.8 YPC on his nine rushes and hauled in 10 of 11 targets for 124 yards and one touchdown, while Jones has just seven carries for 14 yards and two catches (on four targets) for 18 yards. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier Sunday that Jones may start over Homer, but their respective stat lines and Schneider's comment would seem to indicate Homer is the best bet to post the most notable production among those available to this backfield Week 14.

  • Dameon Pierce RB | PHI

Texans' Dameon Pierce: Injures ankle Sunday

Pierce was forced out of Sunday's game against the Cowboys with an ankle injury.

Prior to his exit, Pierce had carried 22 times for 78 yards and a TD. In his absence, Rex Burkhead, Dare Ogunbowale and Eno Benjamin are available to handle the Texans' backfield touches.
