Antonio Gibson RB | NE
Commanders' Antonio Gibson: Dealing with sprain
Head coach Ron Rivera said Tuesday that Gibson is dealing with an undisclosed "sprain" and will be monitored closely during Week 17 prep, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
Rivera wouldn't reveal what body part Gibson injured, but the coach did say the running back's injury led to more playing time for Jonathan Williams during the team's blowout loss to the 49ers. The extent of Gibson's issue remains unclear, but Wednesday's practice report should provide further clarity on his status for Sunday's matchup against the Browns.

Deon Jackson RB | DET
Colts' Deon Jackson: Plays limited role sans Taylor
Jackson had zero carries but caught all three targets for nine yards during Monday's 20-3 loss to the Chargers.
With Jonathan Taylor (ankle) on IR, Jackson was expected to see an increased workload. However, his first reception went for a nine-yard loss in the first quarter, and he didn't touch the ball again until the Colts' final offensive possession. He tied Jordan Wilkins with just eight offensive snaps, as Zack Moss (36) dominated the backfield work. The entire offense struggled Monday night, but it was disappointing to see Jackson completely uninvolved until the final minutes. Even if he sees more snaps in Week 17, Jackson figures to be a risky play against the Giants' stout run defense.

Jonathan Ward RB | NE
Jonathan Ward: Back on Titans' practice squad
Ward reverted to Tennessee's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Ward made his Titans debut during Saturday's loss to the Texans, when he played eight snaps on special teams and logged one tackle in kick coverage. Previously this season, he played five games for the Cardinals. Ward is eligible to be elevated from Tennessee's practice squad to two more times this season.

Tony Pollard RB | TEN
Cowboys' Tony Pollard: Could play Thursday
Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday that Pollard (thigh) "looks good for the game" against the Titans on Thursday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Pollard was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report due to a thigh issue, but Jones said "we're counting on him playing." Those comments offer optimism that Pollard's lack of activity Monday may have been related to rest or maintenance rather than an injury sustained during Sunday's 40-34 win over the Eagles, a game in which Pollard carried the ball nine times for 19 yards and secured six of eight targets for 61 yards. Tuesday's practice report will provide a further update on Pollard's health.

Marlon Mack RB | ARI
Broncos' Marlon Mack: Minimal involvement in loss
Mack rushed four times for 22 yards in Sunday's 51-14 loss to the Rams.
Mack was unable to secure his lone target in the contest. With Chase Edmonds making his return from injured reserve, Mack was relegated to No. 3 running back duties Sunday. The veteran played just 10 of the Broncos' 67 offensive snaps, while Latavius Murray and Edmonds handled a near even split of playing time with 31 and 28 snaps, respectively. Mack's lack of involvement on an already struggling offense should keep him far off the fantasy radar when the Broncos visit the Chiefs in Week 17.

Ameer Abdullah RB | JAC
Raiders' Ameer Abdullah: Catches two passes in loss
Abdullah caught both of his targets for 27 yards in Saturday's 13-10 loss to the Steelers.
Abdullah failed to see a single rush in the contest while Josh Jacobs handled 16 total touches. The 29-year-old played just 10 of the Raiders' 53 offensive snaps in the contest as Jacobs continues to operate as a workhorse back. Barring an injury, Abdullah should remain off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 17 matchup with the 49ers.

James Cook RB | BUF
Bills' James Cook: Career-best effort Christmas Eve
Cook rushed 11 times for 99 yards and a touchdown and caught one of two targets for nine yards in Buffalo's win over Chicago on Saturday.
The 99 rushing yards and the 108 scrimmage yards are career highs for the rookie, who continues to provide the Bills with a Robin to Devin Singletary's Batman. Cook has gone over 100 yards from scrimmage or scored a TD in three of the past four games, giving him solid value as a No. 2 running back. He'll continue to see regular touches, as newcomer Nyheim Hines barely gets looks in the regular game plan.
-
Joshua Kelley RB | TEN
Chargers' Joshua Kelley: Gets nine carries
Kelley rushed the ball nine times for 33 yards in Monday's 20-3 win over the Colts. He added one reception for nine yards.
Kelley continued to serve as the clear backup to Austin Ekeler, and he has 19 carries combined across his last two games. Kelley ripped off gains of 11 and eight yards to highlight his performance, though Ekeler continued to dominate receiving opportunities and work near the goal line. However, with the Chargers locked into a postseason berth, Kelley could see a slight uptick in work across the final two games of the regular season.
-
Zack Moss RB | CIN
Colts' Zack Moss: Leads backfield again
Moss rushed the ball 12 times for 65 yards in Monday's 20-3 loss to the Chargers. He added one reception for five yards.
The Colts played from behind for the majority of the game, though Moss still saw 13 total touches as compared to only three for Deon Jackson. Moss was one of the few bright spots for the Indianapolis offense, as he averaged 5.4 yards per carry and ripped off a 14-yard gain midway through the third quarter -- his longest rush of the day. With Jonathan Taylor (ankle) sidelined for the rest of the season, Moss looks likely to lead the Colts' backfield in the final two contests of the campaign.

Kenneth Gainwell RB | TB
Eagles' Kenneth Gainwell: Eight touches in loss
Gainwell rushed four times for 17 yards and caught all four of his targets for 41 yards in Saturday's 40-34 loss to the Cowboys.
While starting running back Miles Sanders handled the bulk of the carries out of the backfield, Gainwell was more involved in the passing game. The 23-year-old played 30 offensive snaps, while Sanders was on the field for 38 snaps. This was Gainwell's largest snap total of the season, though it remains to be seen if Philadelphia would rely on more of a split in playing time between the Eagles' top two backs. Nonetheless, Gainwell would be very difficult to trust for fantasy purposes while Sanders is healthy for a Week 17 matchups with the Saints.
