  • Austin Ekeler RB | WAS

Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Scores twice against Colts

Ekeler rushed the ball 18 times for 67 yards and two touchdowns in Monday's 20-3 win over the Colts. He also caught all four of his targets for 12 yards.

Ekeler entered the game with concerns about a shoulder injury, but he turned in his second-highest number of carries in a game this season. He didn't find much room to run -- he had only one gain of more than 10 yards -- but managed a pair of scores from one yard away to turn in a productive performance. While he has three touchdowns in his last two games, Ekeler has also been limited to 159 total yards in that span.

  • Tony Jones RB | ARI

Tony Jones: Back with Seattle's practice squad

Jones signed with the Seahawks' practice squad Monday.

The Seahawks continue to expertly maneuver Jones' roster status as the third-year back has bounced between the active roster and practice squad for most of the year. Given Kenneth Walker's numerous injuries over the past couple of weeks, it wouldn't be surprising to see Jones crack the active roster before the end of the season.

  • Seahawks' Godwin Igwebuike: On active roster

Igwebuike was signed to the Seahawks' active roster Monday.

Igwebuike first reverted to the practice squad, but he was then signed to the active roster shortly thereafter. The 28-year-old has played 51 special-teams snaps with the Seahawks to date, and he now joins the active roster to likely act in a similar role. He's tallied 18 total carries in his career dating back to 2018.

  • Vikings' Alexander Mattison: Limited role in win

Mattison rushed four times for 17 yards in Saturday's 27-24 win over the Giants.

Mattison earned just a 21 percent offensive snap share in the contest, while Dalvin Cook played 79 percent of snaps at running back. With Cook healthy and playing well, Mattison has been nothing more than a handcuff for fantasy purposes seeing minimal involvement on offense. This should remain true as the Vikings visit the Packers in Week 17.

  • 49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Progressing in recovery

San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Mitchell (knee) has made "real good progress," and the running back's 21-day window to return from injured reserve may open as early as Friday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

After picking up a sprained MCL in his left knee Nov. 27, Mitchell was given a recovery timeline of 6-8 weeks. As of Monday, he's entered his fifth week of rehab from the injury, but there have been signals from Shanahan that Mitchell is in a good spot in that regard, per David Lombardi of The Athletic. Even if the 49ers designate Mitchell for return Friday, he's unlikely to be activated ahead of Sunday's game in Las Vegas. More realistically, the team is aiming for him to get back on the active roster for a Week 18 matchup with the Cardinals, or for the playoffs.

  • Tony Pollard RB | TEN

Cowboys' Tony Pollard: Listed as DNP on practice estimate

Pollard (thigh) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Pollard's appearance on the Cowboys' initial injury report this week makes his status worth tracking ahead of Thursday's night's game against the Titans. That said, per the Cowboys' official site, coach Mike McCarthy noted Monday that the team didn't suffer additional injuries of any significance during Saturday's win over the Eagles, which suggests that Pollard's 'DNP' listing could potentially be maintenance- or rest-related.

  • Derrick Henry RB | BAL

Titans' Derrick Henry: DNP on practice estimate

Henry (hip) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

The Titans held a walkthrough Monday, but Henry's appearance on the team's first injury report of the week due to a listed hip issue nonetheless makes the running back's status worth monitoring as Thursday night's game against the Cowboys approaches. In this past Saturday's 19-14 loss to the Texans, Henry logged a 74 percent snap share en route to carrying 23 times for 126 yards and a touchdown, while top backup Hassan Haskins was out there for 15 snaps, catching both of his targets for 17 yards and recording zero rushing attempts.

  • Chargers' Larry Rountree: Elevated to active roster

The Chargers elevated Rountree from the practice squad to their active roster Monday.

Rountree will presumably be active for Monday Night Football against the Colts after being elevated to the active roster. If he plays, it'll mark just his second appearance of the season. His last outing came in Week 10 against the 49ers, but he played exclusively on special teams and didn't record any counting stats.

  • Kevin Harris RB | JAC

Patriots' Kevin Harris: One carry versus Bengals

Harris carried once for three yards in Saturday's 22-18 loss to the Bengals.

Despite Damien Harris (thigh) still being sidelined, Kevin Harris logged just four snaps in the contest, while working behind Rhamondre Stevenson (51 snaps), per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. Ahead of New England's final two regular-season contests, Kevin Harris is off the fantasy radar as long as Stevenson and/or Damien Harris are available.

  • Patriots' Pierre Strong: Catches two passes in Week 16

Strong caught both of his targets for 10 yards in Saturday's 22-18 loss to the Bengals.

Even though Damien Harris (thigh) remained out Saturday, Strong logged just two snaps in the contest, while working behind Rhamondre Stevenson (51snaps), per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. As long as Stevenson and/or Harris are available, Strong can't be counted on to see enough touches to merit fantasy lineup consideration.
