Patrick Taylor RB | SF
Packers' Patrick Taylor: Plays five Week 16 snaps
Taylor caught his only target for 17 yards in Sunday's 26-20 victory over the Dolphins.
Taylor made a key play on the Packers' touchdown drive right after halftime that tied the contest at 20-20, but he wound up totaling only five snaps even with fellow running back Aaron Jones playing through an ankle injury. Unless Jones is unable to go, expect Taylor to play a bit role again in Week 17 against the Vikings.

Kyren Williams RB | LAR
Rams' Kyren Williams: Ineffective in limited playing time
Williams rushed six times for 18 yards and caught his only target for three yards during Sunday's 51-14 victory against the Broncos.
Williams saw just eight snaps on offense yet earned seven touches on those limited snaps. A second-quarter drive saw the rookie get his number called on three consecutive plays, highlighted by a seven-yard run up the middle. Williams was a clear second fiddle to a resurgent Cam Akers (23-118-3), and with the Rams perhaps wanting to give Akers the opportunity to claim the backfield for his own in 2023, Williams will likely continue to see little playing time through the Rams' final two games.

Salvon Ahmed RB | CHI
Dolphins' Salvon Ahmed: No carries vs. Packers
Ahmed did not handle an offensive snap during Sunday's 26-20 loss to the Packers.
Ahmed wasn't utilized in a complementary offensive role with both Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson healthy and active. He was instead limited to special teams, where he handled 38 percent of snaps. Though competent if called upon, Ahmed doesn't have a clear path to fantasy relevance heading into a Week 17 divisional matchup against the Patriots.

Raheem Blackshear RB | NYJ
Panthers' Raheem Blackshear: Gets another TD
Blackshear rushed three times for three yards and a touchdown in Week 16's 37-23 win over the Lions. He also caught his only target for 12 yards.
Blackshear has now found pay dirt in back-to-back games, with his latest touchdown opening the scoring from seven yards in the first quarter. Although his involvement was restricted on a day when top tailbacks D'Onta Foreman and Chuba Hubbard both rushed for at least 125 yards, Blackshear has done well from his third-string role of late.

Gary Brightwell RB | CIN
Giants' Gary Brightwell: Sees just one snap Week 16
Brightwell lost one yard on his only carry and returned one kickoff for 26 yards in a loss to the Vikings on Saturday.
After failing to record any offensive snaps against Washington in Week 15, Brightwell got one snap Saturday, but he lost a yard on a first-down carry in the first quarter. His role as the team's kick returner boosts his importance to New York, but Brightwell shouldn't be expected to be a fantasy producer while lead back Saquon Barkley (63 snaps Saturday) and No. 2 ball carrier Matt Breida (11 snaps) are healthy.
-
Matt Breida RB | SF
Giants' Matt Breida: Gets just two touches Week 16
Breida carried the football twice for nine yards and did not see any targets in Saturday's loss to Minnesota.
Neither Breida nor Gary Brightwell (one carry for a loss of one yard) saw much action in the critical contest for New York. Breida did get 11 offensive snaps to Brightwell's one, so the former should remain the primary backup to bell-cow back Saquon Barkley while all three ball carriers are healthy.

Jonathan Williams RB | WAS
Commanders' Jonathan Williams: Outgains Antonio Gibson
Williams took three carries for 13 yards and caught two of three targets for 28 yards in Saturday's 37-20 loss to San Francisco.
The 28-year-old journeyman has primarily played special teams this season and got four of his five touches Saturday after the Commanders had fallen behind by 16 points in the fourth quarter. He'll have a hard time matching this production unless Brian Robinson or Antonio Gibson misses time over the final two weeks of the regular season.
-
Antonio Gibson RB | NE
Commanders' Antonio Gibson: Gets only seven touches
Gibson took five carries for 10 yards and caught two of three targets for 21 yards in Saturday's 37-20 loss to the 49ers.
Gibson played 29 percent of Washington's offensive snaps, down from 60 percent the week before in a loss to the Giants, though he finished with the same number of touches (seven). Brian Robinson, meanwhile, took 22 carries for 58 yards on 44 percent of snaps. No. 3 back Jonathan Williams took 29 percent of snaps, albeit with five of his six touches coming in the fourth quarter after Washington fell behind by 16 points. Gibson gets a nice matchup with Cleveland's weak run defense in Week 17, but it'll be tough for fantasy managers to trust him after four consecutive games with 12 or fewer touches for less than 60 yards and no touchdowns. He did have a productive stretch before that with 100-plus yards and/or a TD in four of five games Weeks 7-11 (a stretch in which the Commanders went 4-1).

Rachaad White RB | WAS
Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Garners 53 total yards in win
White rushed seven times for 36 yards and brought in all four targets for 17 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 19-16 overtime win over the Cardinals on Sunday night.
White played a clear second fiddle to backfield mate Leonard Fournette, who recorded 29 total touches to the rookie's 11. White still found a way to make a critical contribution, however, as his three-yard touchdown reception on third down with just over eight minutes remaining in regulation began the Buccaneers' comeback in earnest. White should continue to enjoy a solid complementary role at minimum in a pivotal Week 17 home clash against the Panthers, though how it will compare to Fournette's workload remains to be seen.

James Conner RB | ARI
Cardinals' James Conner: Productive night in OT loss
Conner rushed 15 times for 79 yards and a touchdown and brought in seven of eight targets for 41 yards in the Cardinals' 19-16 overtime loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday night.
Conner put together an efficient effort that featured both a 22-yard run and 22-yard reception. The versatile veteran logged all the Cardinals' running back touches except for one that went to rookie Keaontay Ingram, and his early fourth-quarter touchdown run gave him a rushing score for the third consecutive contest. Conner's reception and receiving yardage totals were also season highs, affording him plenty of momentum going into a favorable Week 17 road matchup against the Falcons.
