Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Off the injury report
Harris (thigh/personal) practiced fully Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
After missing New England's last four games, Harris is poised to rejoin the team's backfield mix, and in the process figures to work in tandem with Rhamondre Stevenson, assuming Stevenson is able to continue to play through an ankle injury that has him listed as questionable after logging limited practices this week. Assuming both backs are available this weekend, Harris would profile as a hit-or-miss fantasy option in his return to action, in the context of a timeshare.

Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Cleared to face Minnesota
Jones (knee/ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Minnesota.
Jones has dealt with lower-body injuries throughout the second half of the season, including a rolled ankle this past Sunday in a 26-20 win over Miami. He nonetheless logged at least four snaps in each quarter of the game, though he finished with only six carries and two targets (compared to 11 and three, respectively, for backfield mate AJ Dillon). The absence of an injury designation on Friday's final report is good news, but there is still some chance Jones again handles a lesser role compared to the large workload advantage he had over Dillon earlier this season. Both have merit as Week 17 fantasy plays against a struggling Minnesota defense.

Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Eagles' Miles Sanders: Clear for Sunday
Sanders (knee) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game versus the Saints, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Sanders ramped up his activity level as Week 17 prep went on, sitting out Wednesday's walkthrough before returning as a limited participant Thursday and logging a full session to wrap it up. John McMullen of SI.com reported Friday that Sanders donned a brace to stabilize his knee in practice this week, so even though he's entering the weekend without a designation, it's unclear if he'll be able to handle his normal workload. If Sanders ends up yielding some reps to the rest of the Eagles backfield, Kenneth Gainwell, Boston Scott and perhaps Trey Sermon stand to benefit.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Ready for Sunday
Kamara (personal/quadriceps) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game in Philadelphia, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
After he didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday due to a combination of a personal matter and a quad issue, Kamara returned to the field Friday and logged a full session. Afterward, coach Dennis Allen relayed to Rod Walker of The Times-Picayune that Kamara "looked good out there today, and he'll be ready to go this weekend." The preceding has come to pass, setting Kamara up to continue leading the Saints backfield Week 17.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Lions' D'Andre Swift: Backfield at full health
Swift's teammate Jamaal Williams is not listed on the injury report in advance of Sunday's game against Chicago.
Williams missed the final quarter of last week's loss to Carolina with a leg injury and Swift wound up logging his second-highest share of offensive snaps all season. However, Williams may have been held out for precautionary reasons since Detroit was down multiple scores at the time, and he subsequently did not need to miss any practice time this week. While Williams' absence would have positioned Swift as a strong candidate for a heavy role against a weak Bears defense, his presence could mean more of the same for Swift, whose touch count has fluctuated all season.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Returns to practice
Kamara (personal/quadriceps) returned to practice Friday, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Kamara was absent Wednesday and Thursday due to a combination of a personal matter and a quad injury. However, coach Dennis Allen put any concerns about his availability for Week 17 to rest Friday, telling Rod Walker of The Times-Picayune that the running back "looked good out there today, and he'll be ready to go this weekend." It's not yet known if Kamara will have a designation for Sunday's game at Philadelphia, but Friday's practice report will reveal as much.

Antonio Gibson RB | NE
Commanders' Antonio Gibson: Ruled out
Gibson (knee/foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Browns, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Gibson has been dealing with a foot injury for a few weeks and then sprained his knee in last Saturday's loss to the 49ers. His absence for Week 17 could leave Brian Robinson in a three-down role, though it's also possible the Commanders give most of Gibson's usual workload to Jonathan Williams or Jaret Patterson (the latter of whom would need to be called up from the practice squad). A Week 18 matchup with Dallas will be Gibson's final chance to play in the 2022 regular season, and perhaps his final chance until next fall if things don't go well for the Commanders these next two weeks.
-
Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Back at practice
Harris (thigh/personal) returned to practice Friday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Friday's injury report will clarify Harris' participation level, but chances are he'll be deemed limited and approach Sunday's game against the Dolphins listed as questionable. Harris last saw game action in Week 12 versus the Vikings.
-
Antonio Gibson RB | NE
Commanders' Antonio Gibson: Missing third straight practice
Gibson (knee/foot) is not participating in the portion of Friday's practice open to the media, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Gibson appears to be missing a third consecutive practice, which would bode poorly for his chances of suiting up Sunday versus the Browns. Friday's official practice report will reveal whether Gibson has an official injury designation for the contest, but fantasy managers will already want to begin preparing for a potential absence. If Gibson is limited versus Cleveland or can't play, rookie Brian Robinson will be primed for an increased role in Washington's Week 17 backfield, while Jonathan Williams would stand to handle the No. 2 spot.

Malik Davis RB | DAL
Cowboys' Malik Davis: Solid with expanded workload
Davis rushed 10 times for 39 yards and brought in both targets for 23 yards in the Cowboys' 27-13 win over the Titans on Thursday night.
Davis ended up being much more efficient than backfield mate Ezekiel Elliott, who gained just 39 yards on his 17 carries, albeit while also scoring a touchdown. The undrafted rookie's carry total was a career high, as were his rushing and receiving yardage tallies. Even if Tony Pollard (thigh) garners active status for the Week 18 road matchup against the Commanders a week from Sunday, Davis could still have a role in that game if the Cowboys limit the workload of their top two backs in that contest.
