  • Commanders' Jonathan Williams: Gets 12 touches

Williams took nine carries for 30 yards and caught three of five targets for three yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to Cleveland.

Williams was the No. 2 back with Antonio Gibson (knee) inactive and ended up playing 46 percent of snaps, though Brian Robinson had a safe majority of the ground work with 24 carries for 87 yards (and one incomplete target). Williams could have a similar role Week 18 against a tough Dallas defense if Gibson is out again, while a return from Gibson would push Williams back to third on the depth chart.

  • Jordan Wilkins RB | CLE

Colts' Jordan Wilkins: Gets eight touches in loss

Wilkins had six carries for 23 yards and two receptions for 14 yards in Sunday's loss at the Giants.

Wilkins played on 10 of the offense's 58 snaps and had more carries than Deon Jackson amid a blowout loss. Meanwhile, Zack Moss had 15 carries in a starting role. Wilkins could get a significant share of the playing time in the season finale this week against Houston, but it's hard to predict what the Colts will do on offense in a meaningless game.

  • Deon Jackson RB | DET

Colts' Deon Jackson: Just three touches

Jackson had three carries for 10 yards in Sunday's loss at the Giants.

Jackson played just 14 snaps on offense and fell to third in carries behind starter Zack Moss and Jordan Wilkins. Three weeks ago, Jackson looked set to be the starter if Jonathan Taylor were to get hurt. However, Jackson has fallen out of favor after Taylor's season-ending ankle injury and now may be a third-stringer. It will be hard to count on many touches for Jackson even in a meaningless season finale against Houston.

  • Kyren Williams RB | LAR

Rams' Kyren Williams: Dismal usage in loss

Williams rushed twice for six yards during Sunday's 31-10 loss to the Chargers.

Williams set a season low in snap count, with just three offensive snaps during a game where Cam Akers continued to rejuvenate his career with a stellar 19-123-0 rushing line. More concerning for fantasy managers, Akers is also taking over as the passing down back in recent weeks, an area where Williams was expected to excel. Williams has just two receptions for 13 yards in his previous five games combined, while Akers boasts eight catches for 75 yards in the same span. The Rams will be looking to play spoiler to the Seahawks in the season finale, but Akers likely will retain his role as a three-down back, relegating Williams to a pittance of touches once again.

  • Raiders' Brandon Bolden: Season-high eight carries in loss

Bolden took eight carries for 32 yards in Sunday's 37-34 overtime loss to the 49ers.

Fellow reserve running back Zamir White (ankle) was inactive Sunday, so Bolden's usage spiked against the Niners when starter Josh Jacobs briefly exited the contest in the first half due to a minor hip injury. Bolden hadn't been dealt more than one carry in a single game since Week 3, but he could serve as Jacobs' primary backup again Week 18 against the Chiefs if White remains sidelined.

  • Snoop Conner RB | DAL

Jaguars' Snoop Conner: Scores first touchdown

Conner had five carries for 17 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 31-3 win over the Texans.

The rookie fifth-round pick nearly doubled his carries for the season during Sunday's blowout victory, and he also reached the end zone for the first time in his professional career. JaMycal Hasty remains the top backup to starter Travis Etienne, and Conner is unlikely to see much work Week 18 with the Jaguars and Titans facing off for the AFC South crown.

  • Jaguars' JaMycal Hasty: Sees 16 touches in blowout win

Hasty rushed 10 times for 33 yards and a touchdown and caught all six of his targets for 23 yards during Sunday's 31-3 win at Houston.

The 26-year-old reached the end zone on a five-yard run in the first quarter, but he otherwise saw most of his action during the second half with Jacksonville holding a massive lead. Starter Travis Etienne saw only 12 touches in the blowout but produced 140 yards from scrimmage, illustrating why he remains the Jags' clear-cut No. 1 running back with Hasty in the backup role.

  • Jeff Wilson RB | MIA

Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Inefficient in narrow loss

Wilson logged 15 carries for 45 yards and secured three of seven targets for 31 yards during Sunday's 23-21 loss to New England.

Wilson was less effective than Raheem Mostert through the air, but he saw six more opportunities on the ground and just two less targets in Miami's continued backfield timeshare. His usage as a receiver was influenced by the Dolphins' quarterback situation, and coach Mike McDaniel could deploy a similar plan in Week 18 versus the Jets as both Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) and Teddy Bridgewater (finger) look to be in danger of missing the contest, leaving seventh-round rookie Skylar Thompson under center.

  • Texans' Dare Ogunbowale: Nine touches against Jags

Ogunbowale had seven carries for 21 yards and caught two of three targets for four yards in Sunday's 31-3 loss to Jacksonville.

Ogunbowale was on the injury report all week with a knee injury, but he was available to play 26 snaps in the loss. He and Royce Freeman (30 snaps) were co-leaders in the backfield and should be once again in Week 18 against Indianapolis.

  • Royce Freeman RB | CHI

Texans' Royce Freeman: Leads backs in snaps

Freeman had seven carries for 19 yards and caught three of five targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 31-3 loss to the Jaguars in Week 17.

Freeman (30 snaps) and Dare Ogunbowale (26 snaps) once again were the top backs on offense, but neither had a productive day. Freeman's 39 combined yards paced the backfield. Expect a similar backfield mix, with a bit of Rex Burkhead thrown in, for next week's season finale against the Colts.
