  • Steelers' Godwin Igwebuike: Won't suit up Sunday

Igwebuike (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Igwebuike was signed to the Steelers' active roster Thursday from the Falcons' practice squad after Anthony McFarland (knee) was placed on injured reserve Monday. Qadree Ollison was promoted to the active roster and will serve as depth behind Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren.

  • Texans' Devin Singletary: Efficient on 11 touches in win

Singletary rushed nine times for 41 yards and brought in both targets for four yards in the Texans' 37-17 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.

Singletary finished as the Texans' rushing leader on the afternoon while posting his best rushing yardage total over the first three games. The veteran back could potentially begin to encroach on Dameon Pierce's workload if the latter's efficiency doesn't improve, although in fairness, Sunday was the first time over the season's first three games that Singletary averaged over 4.0 yards per carry in his own right. The workload distribution between the two will be one to monitor as Houston welcomes the Steelers in Week 4.

  • Dameon Pierce RB | PHI

Texans' Dameon Pierce: Continues struggling on ground

Pierce rushed 14 times for 31 yards and a touchdown and brought in all three targets for 28 yards in the Texans' 37-17 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.

Pierce once again put up an ugly line efficiency-wise, but he did manage to salvage his fantasy day with a one-yard touchdown run that opened the scoring and served as his first trip to the end zone this season. Pierce's involvement as a receiver was also a welcome sight, and he's now logged three targets apiece in each of the first three games. Nevertheless, backfield mate Devin Singletary gained 10 more yards on five fewer carries than Pierce on Sunday while also recording a pair of grabs in his own right, so the distribution of touches between the two will be one to monitor in a Week 4 home matchup against a tough Steelers defense.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Efficient on ground in loss

Robinson rushed 10 times for 70 yards and wasn't targeted in the Commanders' 37-3 loss to the Bills on Sunday.

Robinson was outstanding on a per-touch basis, but game script and his lack of targets capped his overall production. The second-year back has looked appreciably more explosive early this season after playing a shortened rookie campaign due to a leg injury, and prior to Sunday, he'd drawn five targets over the first two games. Robinson and the Commanders have another unenviable matchup when they face the Eagles on the road in a Week 4 road contest.

  • Broncos' Javonte Williams: Garners 65 total yards in loss

William rushed 11 times for 42 yards and brought in two of three targets for 23 yards in the Broncos' 70-20 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.

Williams' overall opportunities were naturally capped by a bizarre game script that saw the Broncos down 22 at halftime and 36 heading into the final period, but he turned in serviceable production relative to his workload. The third-year back has been solid over the first three games as he shakes off rust following last season's ACL/LCL tears, but he's topped out at 52 rushing yards and Sunday's 23 receiving yards thus far.

  • Jerome Ford RB | WAS

Browns' Jerome Ford: Two touchdowns as lead back

Ford rushed the ball 10 times for 18 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-3 win over the Titans. He added two receptions on three targets for 33 yards and another score.

This was Cleveland's first full game without Nick Chubb (knee), and Ford led the backfield with 12 total touches. However, he didn't dominate work, as both Kareem Hunt and Pierre Strong entered the game on the first drive, racking up seven and six touches, respectively. Ford was the least efficient of the backs on the ground, but he managed to salvage his day with a 19-yard touchdown reception and a three-yard plunge into the end zone. He should get another chance to lead Cleveland's backfield in Week 4, but he'll face a tough matchup against the division-rival Ravens.

  • Breece Hall RB | NYJ

Jets' Breece Hall: Bottled up in Week 3 loss

Hall rushed 12 times for 18 yards and caught one of two targets for nine yards in Sunday's 15-10 loss to the Patriots.

After the Jets mustered just one first down on their first five drives, Hall picked up two by himself on the ground on their final possession of the first half, including a six-yard run on 4th and 1 to set up a field goal for New York's first points of the game. Outside of that drive, the Jets' offensive line didn't open up many holes for Hall or Dalvin Cook, who rushed for 18 yards on eight carries. Outside of two long Hall runs in Week 1, neither running back has mustered much heading into a Week 4 matchup with the Chiefs.

  • Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Gets season-high 16 carries

Elliott rushed 16 times for 80 yards and caught his only target for seven yards in Sunday's 15-10 win over the Jets.

After rushing just 12 times for 42 yards across his first two games with the Patriots, Elliott topped both of those marks as New England went run-heavy in a defensive battle. He had three fewer carries than Rhamondre Stevenson but 21 more yards on the ground. Elliott will have plenty of motivation in Week 4 when the Patriots travel to Dallas to face his former team, but he'll likely remain limited to a complementary role behind Stevenson.

  • Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Gets 20 touches in Week 3

Stevenson rushed 19 times for 59 yards and caught one of four targets for three yards in Sunday's 15-10 win over the Jets.

Stevenson finished with three more rushing attempts than Ezekiel Elliott, but Zeke had 21 more rushing yards in the veteran running back's best game as a member of the Patriots. After catching all nine of his targets through two games, Stevenson had trouble catching passes in slick conditions. The versatile Stevenson can play in all situations, and he should continue to lead New England's backfield in touches against the Cowboys in Week 4.

  • Jahmyr Gibbs RB | DET

Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs: New high in touches

Gibbs rushed 17 times for 80 yards in Sunday's 20-6 win over the Falcons. He also caught one of two targets for two yards.

Gibbs drew his first start with David Montgomery (thigh) sidelined and turned in his most productive performance yet. Although he made minimal impact as a pass catcher, Gibbs' output on the ground was helped by a long rush of 21 yards. Given his dynamic skill set, though, Gibbs likely still hasn't enjoyed his true breakout. With a quick turnaround ahead of Week 4's visit to Green Bay on Thursday night, Montgomery could remain sidelined or limited, which would help Gibbs' outlook as the lead tailback again.
