Travis Etienne RB | NO
Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Strong all-around numbers in loss
Etienne rushed 19 times for 88 yards and brought in four of five targets for 50 yards in the Jaguars' 37-17 loss to the Texans on Sunday.
Amid a shocking 20-point upset loss, Etienne found a way to shine with his versatile skill set on the way to season highs in both rushing and receiving yards. The third-year back finished tied for second in receptions while comfortably pacing the team in rushing yards, and his combined 23 touches tied the season high he'd established in Week 1. Etienne next takes aim at the Falcons in a Week 4 London matchup.

AJ Dillon RB | CAR
Packers' AJ Dillon: Quiet in comeback
Dillon rushed 11 times for 33 yards in Sunday's 18-17 win over the Saints.
Dillon again started while teammate Aaron Jones (hamstring) was sidelined. Although he had a long rush of 14 yards, overall it was another underwhelming outing for Dillon. In fact, quarterback Jordan Love led the Packers in rushing yards (39) and scored with a one-yard keeper. Without any targets in the passing game, either, Dillon's performance did little to alleviate Jones' absence, which could come to an end in the Week 4 Thursday night matchup versus the Lions. Should that transpire, Dillon would likely return to being Green Bay's second option at tailback.

De'Von Achane RB | MIA
Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Eclipses 200-yard mark in win
Achane rushed 18 times for 203 yards and two touchdowns and brought in all four targets for 30 yards and two more scores in the Dolphins' 70-20 win over the Broncos on Sunday.
Tasked with No. 2 running back duties as a result of Salvon Ahmed's absence due to a groin injury, Achane ended up making the most of a larger-than-expected workload that he had a role in creating by helping the Dolphins jump out to an insurmountable lead. The explosive rookie scored via both the run and air in the first half, recording an eight-yard first-quarter touchdown rush before finding the end zone on a nifty shovel pass from Tua Tagovailoa from four yards out in the second quarter. Achane would tack on a second receiving score on a 10-yard grab on the first play of the fourth quarter, and he then helped vault the Dolphins to their record-setting point total with a 67-yard burst down the left side with just over eight minutes remaining. Achane's numbers Sunday were indisputably spectacular, but with veteran starter Raheem Mostert scoring four times himself and averaging over six yards per carry, it's highly likely the latter remains the top backfield option for the time being. Nevertheless, Achane's performance should have an immediate impact on his standing on the depth chart, even if Ahmed is able to suit up in a Week 4 divisional road showdown with the Bills.

James Cook RB | BUF
Bills' James Cook: Effective running but still no TDs
Cook rushed 15 times for 98 yards and caught two of three targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 37-3 win over Washington.
Cook easily led the Bills in both carries and rushing yards, but he watched Latavius Murray score on the ground from in close for the second consecutive game. Along with Murray's two touchdowns, Buffalo has a rushing touchdown apiece from Damien Harris and quarterback Josh Allen through three weeks, while Cook has yet to find the end zone in 2023. The elusive second-year running back is averaging 89 rushing yards through three games, and Cook should continue to handle the majority of backfield touches in Week 4 against the Dolphins.

Raheem Mostert RB | LV
Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Four total TDs in record win
Mostert rushed 13 times for 82 yards and three touchdowns and secured all seven targets for 60 yards and another score in the Dolphins' 70-20 win over the Broncos on Sunday.
Mostert was actually outshined statistically by rookie backup De'Von Achane as the Dolphins compiled a team-record point total, but not before turning in a career-best four-touchdown performance. The veteran back found the end zone on the ground from 20, three and one yard out before adding a 19-yard scoring reception late in the third quarter during which he made multiple nifty cutbacks on the left side of the field on his way to the goal line. Achane ended up eclipsing the 200-yard mark and scored four times in his own right, but Mostert projects to continue as the lead back in a Week 4 divisional road showdown against the Bills next Sunday.

Tyler Allgeier RB | ARI
Falcons' Tyler Allgeier: Back-to-back duds
Allgeier rushed seven times for 12 yards and caught two of three targets for 17 yards during Sunday's 20-6 loss versus Detroit.
Allgeier stood out in Week 1 with two touchdowns, but he's submitted mediocre production in back-to-back games since then. In Week 2, he saw 16 rushing attempts, so there was still optimism about his fantasy outlook even though he didn't find the end zone. However, he saw his rushing attempts cut by more than half versus Detroit, as the Falcons surprisingly leaned on the pass. It's encouraging that Allgeier was still involved in the offense even though Atlanta mostly abandoned the run, but it appears he may be a touchdown-dependent fantasy option moving forward.
-
Derrick Henry RB | BAL
Titans' Derrick Henry: Held to 20 yards
Henry rushed 11 times for 20 yards and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 27-3 loss to the Browns.
Henry was held to minus-7 yards on four first-half rushing attempts, then saw limited work in the second half as the Titans mustered just three points against the stout Browns defense. The star running back will look to bounce back in Week 4, when the Titans return home to host the Bengals. Cleveland has allowed only one offensive touchdown through three games, so this poor performance can largely be chalked up to a difficult matchup, though Tennessee's poor offensive line play so far this season suggests not much will come easy for Henry in 2023.
-
Bijan Robinson RB | ATL
Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Contained by Detroit
Robinson rushed 10 times for 33 yards and caught four of six targets for 27 yards during Sunday's 20-6 loss to Detroit.
After a breakout Week 2, Robinson was held in check by the Lions. The rookie has finished with at least 10 rushing attempts and six targets in each game thus far, and fantasy managers can expect similar usage moving forward. Surprisingly, Atlanta abandoned the run versus Detroit, as Tyler Allgeier finished second on the team in rushing attempts with only seven. It's a little disappointing Robinson wasn't utilized more in the passing attack, but that could be credited to the Lions' defensive scheme. Robinson remains a strong fantasy asset given his game-breaking ability, but it'll be difficult for him to put up top-tier production on a weekly basis with less than 15 touches per game.
-
Gus Edwards RB | LAC
Ravens' Gus Edwards: Evaluated for concussion
Edwards is being evaluated for a concussion during Sunday's game against the Colts.
Prior to his exit from the contest, Edwards carried 11 times for 51 yards. In his absence, Melvin Gordon and Kenyan Drake are available to handle Baltimore's backfield duties, with Justice Hill (foot) inactive Sunday.

D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE
Bears' D'Onta Foreman: Healthy inactive again in Week 3
Foreman (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 3 matchup against the Chiefs.
The offseason addition will thus be relegated to healthy scratch status for the second consecutive game as rookie Roschon Johnson and change-of-pace back Travis Homer slot in behind Khalil Herbert. The extent of Foreman's regular-season action in a Bears uniform thus far is the 21 snaps he logged in the season-opening loss to the Packers, and his next opportunity to suit up comes in a Week 4 home battle against the Broncos next Sunday.
