Duggan is signing with the Chargers' practice squad Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Duggan was waived by the Chargers on Tuesday but will rejoin the organization a day later. Easton Stick will begin the year as the Chargers' No. 2 quarterback, but Duggan could join the active roster if Justin Herbert or Stick are unavailable at some point.

Cunningham is signing with New England's practice squad, Mike Reiss of ESPN reports.

Cunningham's joined by Bailey Zappe on the practice squad, as Mac Jones is the only quarterback that the Patriots kept on the initial 53-man roster. Zappe will almost certainly be brought back onto the roster come the regular season, but it remains to be seen if the same is true for Cunningham, who was used as a wildcat quarterback and wide receiver in training camp.

Keenum has made the Texans' 53-man roster, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.

The Texans drew trade interest for Keenum and Davis Mills ahead of Tuesday's deadline to make cuts, but both quarterbacks will remain on the team's initial 53-man roster as the backups to rookie C.J. Stroud. Keenum has appeared in 11 games over the past three seasons and will likely begin the 2023 campaign as the No. 3 quarterback in Houston.

The Lions placed Sudfeld (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday.

Sudfeld suffered a torn ACL during Detroit's preseason finale, so it was already known that he would miss the entire 2023 season. The 29-year-old will turn his focus toward making a recovery for the 2024 campaign.

The Lions placed Hooker (knee) on the reserve/non-football injury list Tuesday.

Hooker will miss at least the first four games of the season as he continues to recover from a torn left ACL. Lions head coach Dan Campbell has already said the team views the 2023 season as a "redshirt year" for the rookie third-round pick, so Detroit may not have serious plans for him to play much, if at all, until 2024 at the earliest. Teddy Bridgewater remains the top backup to Jared Goff, with Adrian Martinez in place as the No. 3 quarterback.

Baltimore released Johnson on Tuesday.

Johnson had been competing with Anthony Brown for Baltimore's No. 3 quarterback job throughout the preseason, though both were let go Tuesday. That suggests the Ravens won't carry three QBs on their active roster. Johnson could end up on the practice squad as a depth option in case of an injury to Lamar Jackson or Tyler Huntley (hamstring).

The Bengals waived Sinnett on Tuesday.

Sinnett signed with the Bengals in late July but was unable to secure a spot on the team's 53-man roster. However, he's a candidate to join a practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

Buffalo placed Barkley (elbow) on injured reserve Tuesday.

Barkley suffered an elbow injury during a preseason contest against Pittsburgh on Aug. 19, and he was never able to return to practice. The veteran quarterback entered training camp expected to battle Kyle Allen for a backup role behind Josh Allen, but Barkley is now slated to miss the 2023 campaign.

The Seahawks waived Ahlers on Tuesday, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Ahlers spent the offseason with Seattle after joining the team as an undrafted free agent, but he couldn't secure a spot on the 53-man roster. It's unclear whether he'll be able to land an opportunity with another team in 2023.

Buechele was waived by the Chiefs on Tuesday.

Blaine Gabbert was always the likely backup to Patrick Mahomes under center, so this is a relatively unsurprising move by the Chiefs. The 25-year-old has not suited up for an NFL game during his tenure in the league, but he did spend the majority of the 2021 season on Kansas City's practice squad. It remains to be seen if he will get another opportunity there.
