  • Jalen Hurts QB | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Solid results in losing effort

Hurts completed 26 of 45 pass attempts for 298 yards and a touchdown while rushing seven times for 20 yards and another score in Sunday's 42-19 loss to San Francisco.

Hurts briefly exited Sunday's contest to be evaluated for a concussion after taking a hit in the second half. The 25-year-old missed only a handful of snaps before receiving clearance to return. Hurts showed no ill effects from the hit upon returning, and he went on to throw essentially a garbage-time touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Philadelphia was punched in the gut by a conference contender Sunday, but Hurts produced solid fantasy results for managers despite taking the loss. He will look to get the 10-2 Eagles back in the win column against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football in Week 14.

  • Taysom Hill QB | NO

Saints' Taysom Hill: Finds end zone in loss

Hill logged 13 carries for 59 yards and a touchdown and caught his only two targets for 15 yards during Sunday's 33-28 defeat to Detroit. He also went 0-for-2 passing.

Hill fulfilled a central role in the Saints' depleted offense Week 13, as wideout Rashid Shaheed (thigh) was inactive while Michael Thomas (knee) remained out on IR. The versatile tight end/quarterback has been a regular presence in the team's rushing offense throughout the season, and he actually led the team in rushing yards ahead of Alvin Kamara (51) on Sunday. The latter still notched two rushing touchdowns within the two-yard line during the second half while Hill added a one-yard rushing touchdown of his own. Hill also tied with tight end Foster Moreau for the third-most receptions on the Saints behind Kamara (six) and wideout Chris Olave (five). Hill's ability to factor in as a rusher, passer and receiver provides a solid fantasy floor as well as unique upside. His role in the offense could be even more significant if quarterback Derek Carr is forced to miss time after he was carted off the field due to a potential concussion in the fourth quarter.

  • Kenny Pickett QB | CAR

Steelers' Kenny Pickett: Expected to miss extended time

Pickett (ankle) is expected to miss extended time due to the injury he suffered in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Cardinals, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Pickett exited in the first half. He was replaced by Mitch Trubisky, who completed 11 of 17 passes for 117 yards and one touchdown. Trubisky will likely assume the starting role for the duration of Pickett's absence. A concrete return timeline has yet to materialize for Pickett, but early indications suggest he'll almost certainly miss Thursday's game against the Patriots and is likely to sit out beyond then.

  • Jameis Winston QB | NYG

Saints' Jameis Winston: Ineffective in relief

Winston completed two of five passes for 41 yards during Sunday's 33-28 loss to the Lions.

Winston stepped in under center after starting quarterback Derek Carr sustained a head injury on a sack and was carted off the field in the fourth quarter. The 29-year-old backup completed his first pass to wideout Chris Olave for a 30-yard gain, setting up a one-yard rushing touchdowns for running back Alvin Kamara that pulled the score to 33-28. But Winston then threw three straight incompletions that led to a turnover on downs on the Saints' ensuing offensive series. This marked the third time Winston has seen the field due to an in-game injury to Carr, and the No. 2 QB has produced mixed results, completing 25 of 46 passes for 264 yards and three touchdowns to three interceptions. With Carr now in concussion evaluation, it's possible Winston will have to start the Week 14 contest against Carolina.

  • Jalen Hurts QB | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Returns to Sunday's contest

Hurts (head) returned to Sunday's game against the 49ers, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.

Hurts paid a visit to the sideline medical tent in the second half and then went to the locker room to get a concussion check. While Marcus Mariota proceeded to log a handful of snaps in Hurts' stead, the latter got back on the field in the middle of the fourth quarter with the Eagles down 35-13.

  • Jalen Hurts QB | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Being evaluated for concussion

Hurts is being evaluated for a concussion after going to the locker room with a concussion spotter in the second half of Sunday's game against the 49ers, Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Marcus Mariota replaced Hurts under center. Hurts went to the blue medical tent after taking a big hit, then made his way to the locker room shortly afterward. Prior to his exit, Hurts completed 17 of 29 passes for 196 yards while rushing six times for 17 yards and a touchdown.

  • Falcons' Desmond Ridder: Struggles in low-scoring win

Ridder completed 12 of 27 passes for 121 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 13-8 win over the Jets. He also had zero yards on three rushing attempts.

Ridder was held to fewer than 200 passing yards for the sixth time in 11 appearances this season, but his modest yardage total included a 20-yard touchdown toss to MyCole Pruitt in the second quarter. He also had an interception wiped out by a penalty in the second quarter, and despite the officials calling seven penalties on the Jets in the final four minutes of the first half to move the Falcons into scoring range, Atlanta had to settle for a 22-yard field goal to take a 10-5 lead into the locker room. Ridder helped the team tack on a field goal in the second half, after which the Falcons were content to rely on their defense and running game to seal the win and improve to 6-6 heading into a Week 14 home game against the Buccaneers.

  • C.J. Stroud QB | HOU

Texans' C.J. Stroud: Efficient in Week 13 victory

Stroud completed 16 of 27 passes for 274 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday's 22-17 win over the Broncos. He added six rushes for 11 yards.

Stroud turned in another exceptionally efficient performance, averaging 10.1 yards per attempt on the strength of two completions over 50 yards and two additional gains of over 20. The only downside to his performance was his lack of touchdowns, as he failed to record multiple scores for the first time in his last four games. Nevertheless, Stroud has quickly proven to be one of the more efficient quarterbacks in the league and has topped 270 passing yards in five consecutive contests.

  • Trevor Siemian QB | ATL

Jets' Trevor Siemian: Unimpressive in relief

Siemian completed five of 13 passes for 66 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions after replacing Tim Boyle in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 13-8 loss to the Falcons. He added an eight-yard rush and fumbled three times, losing one.

Siemian entered for New York's first possession of the fourth quarter after Tim Boyle was picked off on the Jets' last drive of the third. The 31-year-old journeyman wasn't impressive in his first action since Week 12 of the 2022 season, putting the ball on the ground three times and turning it over on downs to cap New York's final possession. Siemian's in the mix to start in Week 14 against the Texans, but even if the Jets choose him over Boyle and Zach Wilson, Siemian's unlikely to find much success in an offense that's struggled all season.

  • Sam Howell QB | DAL

Commanders' Sam Howell: Salvages day with rushing TDs

Howell completed 12 of 23 passes for 127 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in the Commanders' 45-15 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. He also rushed four times for 21 yards and two scores.

The much-anticipated aerial duel between Howell and Tua Tagovailoa turned out highly one-sided in favor of Miami's star quarterback, with Howell finishing with his lowest passing yardage of the campaign. Howell also failed to complete 50.0 percent of his passes for the first time, while his one- and 13-yard touchdown runs pushed his season total to four, with all of those touchdowns coming in the last three games. Howell and the Commanders air attack will have a more palatable matchup in front of them -- including with respect to weather -- in a Week 15 road matchup against the Rams following a Week 14 bye.
