Will Grier QB | CAR
Will Grier: Getting cut from practice squad
Philadelphia cut Grier from its practice squad Thursday.
Grier was brought onto the Eagles' practice squad just before the start of the regular season, but now he's headed back to free agency. He'll have to look for his next opportunity to make an impression elsewhere.

Baker Mayfield QB | TB
Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield: Idle for practice again
Mayfield (toe) won't participate in Thursday's practice, but he's still expected to start in Sunday's game against the 49ers, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Mayfield was one of five Buccaneers held out of practice Wednesday, two days after he played all 52 of the team's offensive snaps in a 30-24 overtime loss to the Chiefs. The quarterback didn't appear to be bothered by an injury during the contest, but a toe issue will end up keeping him off the practice field for the second day in a row. Though the Buccaneers haven't suggested that the injury will prevent Mayfield from playing Sunday, he may end up carrying a designation into the weekend if he sits out or is a limited participant in Friday's practice.

Trevor Lawrence QB | JAC
Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Unlikely to play Week 10
Lawrence is considered unlikely to play Sunday against the Vikings while he continues to receive treatment for his left shoulder injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Lawrence appeared to sustain the injury to his non-throwing shoulder during a rushing attempt in the second quarter of this past Sunday's 28-23 loss to the Eagles. Though he didn't end up missing any snaps in Week 9, Lawrence was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, and Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson was unwilling to commit to the quarterback being ready to play against the Vikings. While the Jaguars haven't yet provided an update on Lawrence's status following Wednesday's practice, Rapoport suggests that the team is preparing to be without its franchise signal-caller for at least one game. Jacksonville signed C.J. Beathard off Miami's practice squad Tuesday to bolster their depth at quarterback, but Mac Jones will be in line to start Sunday's contest if Lawrence ends up being ruled out.

Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Out 4-to-6 weeks at least
Prescott sustained a partial avulsion of his right hamstring in Sunday's loss to Atlanta, and his best-case recovery timetable is 4-to-6 weeks, Jane Slater of NFL Network reports.
Prescott is expected to be placed on injured reserve as a result, but the Cowboys have yet to make such a transaction as they seek varying opinions on how to proceed with his rehab. Rest and icing the region are the likely routes to take, but there's also a possibility that he'll require surgery, depending on the grade of the injury. Cooper Rush will step in for Prescott as Dallas' starter for as long as the latter is sidelined, while Trey Lance will be active on game days as the backup quarterback.

Baker Mayfield QB | TB
Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield: Tending to toe issue
Mayfield didn't practice Wednesday due to a toe injury.
Mayfield was able to force overtime Monday at Kansas City but then never got a chance to move the ball in the extra period in an eventual 30-24 loss. Overall, he completed 23 of 31 passes for 200 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions without the services of his top three wide receivers. Mayfield himself is now tending to a health concern, so his status will be monitored as the week continues to see if he may be in danger of sitting out Sunday against the 49ers.

Caleb Williams QB | CHI
Bears' Caleb Williams: Clear of ankle injury
Williams (ankle) wasn't listed on the Bears' first Week 10 injury report posted Wednesday.
Williams injured his left ankle on the Bears' last play of this past Sunday's loss in Arizona, but he said afterward that he expected to be fine moving forward. His activity at Wednesday's practice confirmed as much, paving the way for him to continue leading Chicago's offense Sunday versus the Patriots.

Will Levis QB | TEN
Titans' Will Levis: Limited to start week
Levis (shoulder) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Levis was a limited participant throughout last week and missed a third straight game during the Titans' overtime win over the Patriots. According to Wyatt, head coach Brian Callahan said Wednesday that the plan was for Levis to get more reps this week and possibly return for Sunday's game against the Chargers, although Mason Rudolph will continue to get at least a portion of the first-team work in practice.

Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Avoids injury designation
Jackson (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Thursday's game against the Bengals.
The Ravens listed Jackson as a non-participant Tuesday before he upgraded to full practice activity Wednesday. Head coach John Harbaugh recently said the Ravens may limit Jackson's practice reps but don't have any concern about minor knee and back injuries leading to the quarterback missing games. Jackson gets a favorable Week 10 matchup with a Bengals defense that he racked up 348 passing yards and four touchdowns against in a 41-38 overtime victory in Week 5.

Justin Fields QB | KC
Steelers' Justin Fields: Healthy after bye week
Fields (hamstring) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Fields was inactive in Week 8 against the Giants, but he's back healthy following Pittsburgh's Week 9 bye. With Russell Wilson having since taken over as the Steelers' starting quarterback while guiding Pittsburgh to two wins in as many outings, Fields will return to the top backup role Sunday against the Commanders. Third-string quarterback Kyle Allen is likely to be inactive for Week 10.

Bryce Young QB | CAR
Panthers' Bryce Young: Named Week 10 starter
Young will start Sunday's game against the Giants in Munich, but Panthers had coach Dave Canales was unwilling to commit to the quarterback continuing to start beyond Week 10, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
In other words, the Panthers are still viewing the quarterback position as a week-to-week situation, with Young perpetually a bad game or two away from turning the offense back over to veteran Andy Dalton. The 23-year-old will make his third consecutive start this Sunday, after pulling off a 23-22 win over the Saints in Week 9 to improve his career record as a starter to 3-17.
