Jaguars release Friday injury report
Wide receivers dominated the Jaguars injury report for Friday. Top wideouts Justin Blackmon (hamstring) and Cecil Shorts (shoulder) are listed as questionable for Sunday against San Diego while Ace Sanders (concussion) and Stephen Burton (concussion) are out.
Also out are defensive end Jeremy Mincey (concussion) and quarterback Blaine Gabbert (hamstring). Cornerback Dwayne Gratz (ankle) and safety Johnathan Cyprien (calf) are questionable.

Russell Wilson QB | NYG
Russell Wilson does early damage to down Cardinals
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson stayed in the pocket more than usual in Week 7 against the Cardinals, but he did more than enough damage with his arm to make up for it.
Wilson was efficient in completing 18 of 29 passes for 235 yards, while tossing a trio of touchdowns. He connected on scores of 31, 15 and 1 yards in the game, the first two of which came during the first half.
He added 30 yards on seven carries, his lowest total since Week 3. The only downside to his game was the pair of fumbles he lost, while putting the ball on the ground three times total. The Seahawks won the game handily, 34-22.
Wilson has completed 61.5 percent of his passes for 1,489 through seven games, with 11 passing touchdowns and four interceptions. He gets extra time off before his next game, set for Monday during Week 8 against the Rams.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Ryan Tannehill looking to take advantage of Bills
Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill's record against the Bills as a rookie was something of a mixed bag. Based on their track record this season, however, Tannehill could be in line for a decent showing in Week 7 as the Dolphins host the Bills.
The Bills have been victimized quite often by opposing quarterbacks, as they have allowed multiple touchdown passes in five of six games so far. That bodes well for Tannehill, who has been solid, but is still looking for a true breakout game -- he has at least one touchdown in every game this season, but only one game with two.
Unfortunately, though the Bills have been susceptible to the big play, they have forced quite a few of their own. Opposing quarterbacks have turned the ball over 11 times against the Bills.
The Bills rank just 22nd in the league in Fantasy points given up to opposing quarterbacks, at 20.3 per game. Coming back from the by week, Tannehill is no sure thing, but with a few big names on byes in Week 7, he is a decent play for Fantasy purposes.

Thad Lewis QB | BAL
Thad Lewis might not shine in encore
Bills quarterback Thad Lewis appears to have shaken off his foot injury, and is in line to start his second game in a row in Week 7 against the Dolphins. After a surprising debut, should Fantasy owners expect another solid performance out of Lewis this Sunday?
Lewis scored three times in Week 6, but he might have a tough time coming up with a solid followup. The Dolphins have allowed multiple touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks just two of five quarterbacks faced this season, and none have come on the ground, where Lewis scored one of his three.
Our trio of experts are not high on the Duke product in his second start, with only one ranking him among the top 24 at quarterbacks for Week 7. Lewis probably only has value as a bye-week or injury replacement for Week 7.

Case Keenum QB | CHI
Case Keenum meteoric rise continues with starting nod
Case Keenum has gone from undrafted quarterback to practice squad quarterback to third-string quarterback to starting quarterback in less than two years. That last upgrade was confirmed Thursday by Gary Kubiak, who proclaimed Keenum the starter for the Texans.
Keenum will replace the injured Matt Schaub, though an impressive performance and a victory Sunday at Kansas City could vault him into that spot permanently. Keenum was believed to be behind T.J. Yates, but Kubiak selected him to start because he felt his struggling team needs a spark.

Geno Smith QB | NYJ
Geno Smith may struggle in Week 7
Jets quarterback Geno Smith has already faced the Patriots this season, and things didn't go especially well -- Smith was intercepted three times, didn't throw a touchdown, and finished with three Fantasy points.
While the second time around really can't be much worse, Smith will probably end up on the wrong side of 20 Fantasy points yet again. He's without two of the team's top five receiving yard leaders (Santonio Holmes is injured and Kellen Winslow is suspended) and the Patriots have been tough against opposing quarterbacks, allowing 13.7 Fantasy points per game.
Smith has just two games with multiple touchdowns this season and four with multiple interceptions. While he has value in the right matchups, Smith may struggle in Week 7 against a tough New England pass defense.

Case Keenum QB | CHI
Case Keenum to start at quarterback for Texans on Sunday
Case Keenum has leapfrogged T.J. Yates on the depth chart and will start for the Texans at quarterback Sunday. Gary Kubiak announced the change in his Thursday press conference, stating his 2-4 team needs a spark.
"It's a tough decision cause both have done so well," Kubiak said.
It is assumed after starter Matt Schaub performed well in Week 6 before sustaining a foot injury that Keenum is merely his temporary replacement. But perhaps Keenum, who has yet to throw a pass in the NFL, could supplant Schaub if he leads the Texans out of their doldrums.

Texans quarterbacks are Fantasy poison in Kansas City
Let's make this simple. It doesn't matter which of the three quarterbacks plays for the Texans in Kansas City on Sunday. Fantasy owners shouldn't have any of them in their lineups.
Starter Matt Schaub has been a pick-prone train wreck most of the year and is dealing with a foot injury. Neither T.J. Yates or Case Keenum has proven enough in the NFL to earn enough trust to even be picked up off the waiver wire.
Add all that to the fact that the undefeated Chiefs are ranked first in the NFL in points allowed (65), turnovers (18), interceptions (10) and passing yards yielded per attempt (4.6) and it becomes clear that no Houston quarterback is worthy of Fantasy attention in Week 7.
It would be wise to leave Schaub on your bench even if deemed healthy enough to play.

Sam Bradford QB | MIN
Sam Bradford facing rough matchup Week 7
Rams quarterback Sam Bradford is coming off a strong Fantasy stretch in which he's thrown three ouchdowns in each of the past two games, but that could end this week against the Panthers.
Carolina has held opposing quarterbacks to just 10.20 Fantasy points per game, which rates as best in the league. Through five games, the team has allowed four passing touchdowns to eight nterceptions.
Bradford is coming off his best stretch of season. Over the past two games, he's been able to carve up the Jaguars and the Texans, tossing six touchdowns to no interceptions. Bradford has credited his recent success to the emergence of running back Zac Stacy, who has picked up close to 80 yards in his two starts. While Stacy's running has helped the team get close to the end zone, Bradford has been vulturing his scores. Four of Bradford's six touchdowns during this period have come inside the five.
Against the Panthers, the team could take a more conservative approach when they get close considering Carolina's strong passing defense.

Blaine Gabbert QB | KC
Blaine Gabbert improving in practice
Though he is not expected to play in Week 7 against the Chargers, Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert is clearly making progress with his hamstring injury. Gabbert was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.
