  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Has career day versus Seahawks

Watson completed 19 of 30 pass attempts for 402 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions Sunday against the Seahawks. He also gained 67 yards on eight carries in the 41-38 loss.

Watson was the beneficiary of some huge plays in this one, including touchdown passes of 59 and 72 yards to Will Fuller and DeAndre Hopkins, respectively. He also gashed Seattle as a runner, averaging 8.4 yards per carry as he tied his career high in rushing yards. Unfortunately, Watson also turned the ball over three times, including a pick-six by Earl Thomas in the first quarter and an interception by Richard Sherman as he tried to put his team in position to kick the tying field goal. Still, the incredibly productive start to Watson's career continued, as he set the NFL rookie record for touchdown passes through the first seven games. Already a Rookie of the Year frontrunner, he'll face a favorable matchup against the Colts in Week 9.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Lights up Houston in dramatic fashion

Wilson completed 26 of 41 passes for 452 yards with four touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 41-38 win over the Texans.

Wilson added 30 yards on four carries, scrambling for chunks of 22 and 12 yards on a drive late in the fourth quarter. The series ended with an ugly interception, but he bounced back shortly thereafter to lead a game-winning drive that covered 80 yards on only three snaps. Wilson had completions of 48, 53, 54 and 66 yards, though each of his four touchdowns came in the red zone. Given that Seattle has yet to establish any kind of running game, Wilson figures to stay busy in a Week 9 home game against the Redskins. He's now on pace for 4,590 passing yards and 34 touchdowns, after establishing a new career-high mark for yardage in Sunday's dramatic win.

  • Mitch Trubisky QB | TEN

Bears' Mitchell Trubisky: Breaks long run

Trubisky completed 14 of 32 passes for 164 yards and an interception during Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Saints. He added 53 yards on three carries.

Trubisky set up Chicago's lone touchdown of the game late in the fourth quarter when he stepped up in the pocket and found a lot of real estate in front of him, taking off for a 46-yard gain. He wasn't quite as exciting throwing the ball save for a 45-yard completion to Tre McBride, whom he later overshot for a game-sealing interception. Trubisky failed to complete half of his passes for the second time in four starts and, however lowly his 164 passing yards were, they still represent a season high. Don't expect much change. John Fox is the same coach who rode defense and the running game to a division title with Tim Tebow in Denver. Trubisky is obviously a more polished passer than Tebow, but Fox has to see that his team is 2-0 when his quarterback throws fewer than 20 times and 1-5 when his team throws it 20 times or more. Expect Trubisky to remain reined in after the bye against a Green Bay team that gave fellow quarterback Mike Glennon fits in Week 4.

  • Derek Carr QB | NO

Raiders' Derek Carr: Keeps chucking it up

Carr completed 31 of 49 passes for 313 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 34-14 loss to Buffalo.

Carr has thrown 101 passes in the past two weeks, accumulating 730 yards in the process. It's been, in a lot of ways, a welcomed progression for Carr -- who had been held under 200 yards in three consecutive games. At the same time, it's hard not to see that the $125 million man and Oakland's offense as a whole have regressed since Oakland canned former coordinator Bill Musgrave and replaced him with Todd Downing, Carr's former position coach. Carr has tossed multiple picks in three of his last five games. For perspective, Carr had three such games in his previous 37 outings.

  • Jameis Winston QB | NYG

Buccaneers' Jameis Winston: Three turnovers with no touchdowns in Week 8

Winston (shoulder) struggled in Sunday's 17-3 loss to the Panthers, completing 21 of 38 passes for 210 yards with two interceptions while rushing three times for 13 yards and losing a fumble.

Winston's 5.5 yards per attempt were his lowest since Week 4 of the 2016 season, as he struggled to get anything going despite throwing at least 38 passes for the fifth time in seven games. The third-year signal caller has been inconsistent despite seeing plenty of volume in an offense stocked with talented receiving threats, throwing for at least 328 yards in four games and no more than 210 in the other three.

  • C.J. Beathard QB | JAC

49ers' C.J. Beathard: Completes less than half of passes in loss

Beathard completed 17 of 36 passes for 167 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions while rushing six times for 40 yards in Sunday's 33-10 loss to the Eagles.

Beathard didn't get much help from the rest of his team's offense, as no other player broke 30 rushing yards or 40 receiving yards. The rookie third-rounder out of Iowa once again showed the ability to make plays with his legs after scoring a rushing touchdown last week, but his team has been outscored 73-20 in his two starts. Beathard shouldn't be on your radar outside of two-quarterback formats.

  • Case Keenum QB | CHI

Vikings' Case Keenum: Tosses two touchdown versus Browns

Keenum completed 27 of 43 passes for 288 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Sunday's 33-16 win over the Browns.

Keenum notched a season high in pass attempts as the Browns hung close for three quarters, finishing with his second-highest yardage output of the year. While he wasn't incredibly efficient through the air, the volume played up thanks to touchdown connections with Adam Thielen and Kyle Rudolph. Keenum, who failed to top 200 yards in two of his previous three games, has yet to string together consistently effective performances as the starter this year. He's still guided the team to a four-game win streak heading into the upcoming bye, but it remains to be seen whether he or Teddy Bridgewater (knee) will get the nod in Week 10 against the Redskins.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Bengals' Andy Dalton: Strikes twice against Colts

Dalton completed 17 of 29 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns while adding 10 yards on the ground in Sunday's 24-23 win over the Colts.

Dalton put the Bengals back up by four midway through the third quarter when he took a shot to the chops, but still managed to float the ball into the end zone for a 25-yard strike to Josh Malone. Dalton started the season off ugly, with no touchdowns and four picks in his first two games. However, he has since thrown multiple touchdown passes in four of five contests. This might not be the time to buy on Dalton, however, as he's coming up on a tough stretch. Four of the Bengals' next five opponents rank in the top 10 in the league in pass defense.

  • Colts' Jacoby Brissett: Tosses two TDs

Brissett completed 25 of 39 passes for 233 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 24-23 loss to Cincinnati.

It was the first game this season in which Brissett threw multiple touchdown passes and just the second time he accounted for multiple scores in a game. The second-year passer appears likely to hold onto the starting job for the foreseeable future, as Andrew Luck's (shoulder) most recent setback shrouds his availability in even greater uncertainty. Unsurprisingly, the offense isn't functioning at anywhere near the same level of efficiency with Brissett behind center, as he's accounted for just eight touchdowns in seven starts and has failed to push the ball downfield, averaging under six yards per attempt in five of seven starts. He takes on a top-10 pass defense in Houston next week.

  • Tyrod Taylor QB | GB

Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Two total touchdowns versus Raiders

Taylor completed 20 of 27 pass attempts for 165 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 34-14 win over the Raiders. He also scored a one-yard touchdown on the ground.

Taylor completed 74 percent of his passes, but he averaged just 6.1 yards per attempt using the dink-and-dunk approach. He salvaged his day with a six-yard touchdown pass to Andre Holmes in the first quarter and a short touchdown plunge of his own in the fourth. Taylor will seemingly never rack up huge yardage totals through the air, but his ability to take care of the football -- he has just two turnovers this season -- and his contributions in the rushing game make him a palatable fantasy option given the right matchup. He'll face another beatable defense Thursday against the Jets.
