Tagovailoa (hip) remains healthy despite his presence on Wednesday's injury report, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Jackson's report notes that any player receiving any type of treatment is expected to be listed on the injury report, but still confirms that "Tua is fine." Tagovailoa still practiced in full during Wednesday's session and is fully expected to serve as the backup to Ryan Fitzpatrick in Week 1's showdown at New England. This appears to be nothing out of the ordinary for a player 10 months removed from a relatively major hip injury.

Stevens cleared waivers Sunday and signed with the Saints' practice squad, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The rookie seventh-rounder is considered a run-blocking tight end after catching just 14 passes over four seasons at Mississippi State. While he was unable to secure a roster spot, he could get promoted to the active roster if either Jared Cook, Josh Hill or Adam Trautman is unavailable.

The Buccaneers signed Sinnett to the practice squad Sunday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

The Buccaneers were hoping Sinnett would clear waivers so they could place him on the practice squad, as they gave him a $152,000 signing bonus in April. Sinnett will look to learn a few things from Tom Brady at practice this season.

The Giants signed Rush to their practice squad Sunday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Rush has a history with offensive coordinator Jason Garrett from their time in Dallas together, so he'll be a dependable depth QB heading into the 2020 season.

Stidham (hip) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report.

Stidham lost the starting job to Cam Newton during training camp, but he'll be available as a backup for Sunday's season opener against the Dolphins. We have yet to see much of Stidham, as he threw just four passes in his 2019 rookie season, but he's on standby in case Newton -- who played just two games last year due to a foot injury -- suffers another injury

Fromm did not practice with his teammates Wednesday as part of a planned social distancing schedule, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.

Nothing is wrong with Fromm, but the Bills' major fear -- which is the same as a lot of other teams -- is that an entire quarterbacks room would be ineligible if COVID-19 makes its way though the group and the team would be forced to start an emergency (and unprepared) quarterback in a given week. The Bills and a lot of other teams plan on doing this periodically so someone like Fromm would likely be virus-free should the team's top two quarterbacks not be cleared to play.

Tagovailoa (hip) is listed on Wednesday's injury report, though he was a full participant in practice, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Tagovailoa may still be working back to top form, as he's coming off serious hip injury that required surgery last November. Even so, the Dolphins' decision to begin the 2020 season with Tagovailoa and Ryan Fitzpatrick as the only quarterbacks on the active roster is an indication that the team believes the rookie is healthy enough to work as a backup in Sunday's season opener at New England. As he continues to put the hip injury further in the rear-view mirror and if the Dolphins fall out of the playoff picture, Tagovailoa could get the chance to replace Fitzpatrick under center.

The Titans signed Siemian to the practice squad Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Siemian joined the Titans mid-August, but he wasn't able to make it through final roster cuts. Instead, the 2015 seventh-round pick will remain on the practice squad as an emergency option at quarterback.

Sudfeld is listed as the No. 2 quarterback on Philadelphia's first unofficial depth chart, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.

Sudfeld beat out Jalen Hurts for the backup gig in training camp. Though the Eagles no doubt envision the rookie second-round pick eventually climbing the depth chart, the job will be Sudfeld's to lose to kick off the 2020 campaign. Sudfeld didn't play in 2019, and he's only logged three appearances through his first three years with the Eagles, but his familiarity with the organization and scheme is an invaluable asset coming off an abbreviated offseason.

The Vikings signed Browning to the practice squad Tuesday, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Minnesota waived Browning amid roster cuts over the weekend, and he'll now begin a second straight season on the team's practice squad. Fellow quarterback Nate Stanley will be around to provide competition.
