Coach Kevin Stefanski expects Mayfield (left shoulder) to practice in a limited capacity Tuesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Earlier Tuesday, Mayfield was unsure whether he'd fit in any work after being listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report, per Ulrich. Mayfield later got into some specifics regarding his health, telling Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer that he's been playing through a completely torn labrum since dislocating his non-throwing shoulder back in Week 2, and that the issue is worse this time around. While a return to practice Tuesday will put Mayfield in a better spot to uphold his belief that he'll play Thursday against the Broncos, the Browns could very well take a decision on his Week 7 availability down to the wire. Case Keenum is on hand if Mayfield is unable to go.

Luton reverted to the Seahawks' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transactions report.

Luton was elevated for Sunday's loss to the Steelers, in which he operated as Geno Smith's backup, but he didn't ultimately see the field. If the Seahawks don't explore other options at backup quarterback, Luton could bump to the active roster again Oct. 25 versus the Saints.

Mayfield has been tending to an injury in his left non-throwing shoulder since Week 2, an issue that he aggravated this past Sunday against the Cardinals. The Browns are getting a second opinion on the issue, but Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports that Mayfield's status is more TBD than the quarterback himself indicated. Fortunately for Mayfield, the Browns believe the partially torn labrum in his shoulder isn't structurally worse than it was prior to getting taken down by Arizona's J.J. Watt on a strip sack, according to Jeff Howe of The Athletic. It remains to be seen if Mayfield will join his teammates on the practice field Tuesday, but any activity there would bode well for his availability for Thursday's game.

Tannehill completed 18 of 29 passes for 216 yards and an interception in Monday night's 34-31 win over the Bills. He also rushed twice for three yards and a touchdown.

Tannehill didn't have the best performance through the air, but he compensated for a pick downfield in the first quarter with a four-yard touchdown rush in the second. The signal-caller then found top wideout A.J. Brown frequently after halftime, aiding Tennessee's comeback victory. With just one touchdown in each of his last three games, Tannehill will strive to elevate his play in a Week 7 matchup versus Kansas City.

Wolford suffered a neck injury during Sunday's game against the Giants but is expected to be available in Week 7 against Detroit, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

Wolford failed to complete a pass on two attempts and threw an interception in his brief appearance Sunday, and he also came away slightly banged up. However, head coach Sean McVay noted the backup quarterback should be ready to play in the team's upcoming contest if needed.

Allen completed 35 of 47 passes for 353 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in Monday night's 34-31 loss to the Titans. He also rushed nine times for 26 yards and caught a two-point conversion.

Allen came up short on a fourth-and-one sneak attempt from the Titans' three-yard line with under 25 seconds remaining, but the quarterback still turned in an impressive overall performance. He started with a 14-yard touchdown to top wideout Stefon Diggs, then after being hit on an interception in his own territory, Allen rallied with a 29-yard score to Cole Beasley with under a minute left in the first half. Allen then hit Tommy Sweeney from one yard for his third score, after which he caught a reverse pass for a two-point conversion. Although Monday's narrow defeat will now send Allen into the Bills' bye week on a sour note, he's accounted for at least 350 total yards in three of his last four outings, producing 14 touchdowns over that span.

Coach Mike McCarthy relayed Monday that Prescott's MRI confirmed that the QB has a strained right calf, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

The plan is for Prescott to rest and rehab during Dallas' upcoming bye week and then be evaluated next Monday, per David Helman of the Cowboys' official site. Meanwhile, both Hill and Helman note that the team is optimistic that the signal-caller will be available for Dallas' Oct. 31 road game versus Minnesota.

Denver lists Bridgewater as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report with a foot issue, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Bridgewater may not be 100 percent following Sunday's loss to the Raiders, but so long as he at least maintains limited listings on the Broncos' next two practice reports, he should be ready to go for a Thursday night matchup with the Browns in Week 7. The signal-caller benefited from a negative game script versus Las Vegas to produce one of his best lines of the season (35-for-49 for 334 yards and three touchdowns), though he committed four turnovers (three interceptions, one lost fumble) in the 34-24 loss.
