Brandon McManus K | GB
Broncos' Brandon McManus: Battling the yips
McManus converted an extra point and 28-yard field goal during Sunday's 23-10 loss to the Giants, but shanked a 35-yard attempt and had a 53-yarder blocked.
McManus has already tied his career high in missed field goals with five. Most troubling for the big-legged kicker, he has converted just one of his four attempts outside of 40 yards. If not for the giant contract he signed just before the season, Denver might be looking elsewhere for a kicker right now. Fortunately, you are not similarly on the hook financially. Drop McManus until he shapes up.

Dustin Hopkins K | CLE
Redskins' Dustin Hopkins: Placed on IR
Hopkins (hip) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Master Tesfatsion of the Washington Post reports.
Hopkins will be a likely candidate to return from IR once his hip sprain has healed. In the meantime, the Redskins signed Nick Rose to take over kicking duties. Hopkins is 9-for-11 on field-goal attempts this season, with his two misses coming from 50-plus yards.

Harrison Butker K | KC
Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Continues impressive run in Week 6
Butker made each of his two field-goal attempts and added an extra point in Sunday's loss to the Steelers.
Butker continues to impress since being signed off the Panthers' practice squad in Week 4, nailing 10 of his 11 attempts in the last three weeks. Next up for the Chiefs and him is an Oakland squad allowing just 21 points per game this season.

Justin Tucker K | BAL
Ravens' Justin Tucker: Automatic again Sunday
Tucker went 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts and converted his lone extra-point attempt in Sunday's loss to the Bears.
After a relatively slow start, Tucker has started to round back into form with back-to-back weeks of double-digit points. He connected from 27 and 31 yards and also had his first 50-yard field goal of the season. Tucker will see favorable conditions in Week 7 when Baltimore travels to Minnesota to face the Vikings in a fixed-roof stadium.

Jason Myers K | SEA
Jason Myers: Let go by Jaguars
Myers was released Tuesday by the Jaguars, John Oehser of the team's official site reports.
Myers is coming off an outing against the Rams where he missed two 54-yard field goals, making him 0-for-3 from 50-plus yards on the season. With the Jaguars' offense often times struggling to move the ball, the team is likely looking to find a more reliable leg from longer distances. Upon releasing Myers, the team has signed Josh Lambo, who played for the Chargers in each of the last two seasons.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Remains perfect on FGA
Fairbairn made his lone field-goal attempt and two of three extra-point kicks in Week 6's 33-17 win over the Browns.
Fairbairn has not missed a field goal yet, making all 10 of his attempts through six games. Unfortunately, he's had just one attempt over the last two games, a byproduct of an offense that's finishing its drives. Fairbairn is tied for 14th among kickers with 7.5 points per game as the Texans enter their bye week.

Giorgio Tavecchio K | ATL
Raiders' Giorgio Tavecchio: Missed extra-point attempt proves costly
Tavecchio connected on his only field-goal attempt from 44 yards during Sunday's 17-16 loss to the Chargers, but he also missed an extra point for the first time this season.
Tavecchio had been perfect on both field goals and extra points throughout the first five games of his NFL career, but a high snap during Sunday's tilt resulted in his first missed extra-point attempt during a crucial portion of the contest. Oakland's one-point loss exaggerates the disappointment stemming from Tavecchio's missed PAT attempt, but the kicker will look to bounce back Thursday against the Chiefs. The rookie's fantasy value has taken a hit since Week 2 as the Raiders have failed to score more than 17 points throughout their past four games.

Zane Gonzalez K | MIA
Browns' Zane Gonzalez: Gets back on track versus Texans
Gonzalez made his only field-goal attempt of 41 yards during Sunday's 33-17 loss to the Texans. He also converted two PATs.
Gonzalez reversed his recent misfortune by knocking in a 41-yarder during the first quarter of Sunday's game. The rookie has hit just 50 percent of his field goals (3-for-6) to begin his career, but the Browns seem adamant on sticking with their seventh-round draft pick.

Dustin Hopkins K | CLE
Redskins' Dustin Hopkins: Unlikely to play Week 7
Hopkins will likely miss next Monday's game at Philadelphia due to a hip injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Head coach Jay Gruden termed the ailment a right rotator muscle sprain, which is expected to sideline Hopkins at least one game. Because Hopkins is considered week-to-week, the Redskins are now in the market for a kicker in the short term. Expect a resolution on that front by the time the Redskins kick off Week 7 prep Thursday.

Matt Prater K | BUF
Lions' Matt Prater: Connects from 41 yards in Week 6
Prater converted one of two field-goal attempts and all five PATs during Sunday's 52-38 loss to the Saints.
Prater remained flawless in the PAT column Sunday and could have had a bigger day had he connected on a 56-yard field-goal attempt in the third quarter. While the Central Florida product has now misfired twice in the past three weeks, both misses came from at least 55 yards out, making it hard to dock Prater too much, if at all. In fact, it's better that he attempted those kicks and missed than having not tried them at all, as those plays showcased the Lions' high level of trust in their veteran leg. Detroit now has a bye in Week 7 with a tough matchup against the Steelers on deck.
