Jude McAtamney K | NYG
Jude McAtamney: Back to Giants' practice squad
New York re-signed McAtamney to the practice squad Thursday with an International Player Program exemption, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
McAtamney operated as the Giants' placekicker for four games from Week 4 to Week 7, but he lost his spot on the 53-man roster Tuesday due to Graham Gano (groin) having his practice window opened Week 8 and expected to return to action Sunday against the Eagles. New York also has Younghoe Koo on the practice squad, providing competition for McAtamney in the event that Gano isn't yet ready to retake the field.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Giants' Graham Gano: Trending toward Week 8 return
Gano (groin) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Gano hasn't played since injuring his groin in a Week 3 loss to the Chiefs and has missed the last four games on injured reserve, but he appears to be trending toward a return. The Giants waived Jude McAtamney -- who handled kicking duties each of the last four games -- on Tuesday, another indication that Gano has a good chance at returning to action Sunday against the Eagles.

Brandon McManus K | GB
Packers' Brandon McManus: Still not practicing
McManus (right quadriceps) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice.
McManus thus has been a DNP on four consecutive injury reports due to the right quad that he tweaked in practice on Wednesday, Oct. 8. Until he logs at least a limited practice again, he appears to be in danger of missing a third straight contest Sunday at Pittsburgh. Considering how well fill-in kicker Lucas Havrisik has fared in place of McManus -- 4-for-4 on FGAs, 6-for-6 on PATs -- the Packers have the luxury of patience as it pertains to McManus' recovery.

Cairo Santos K | CHI
Bears' Cairo Santos: Limited in return to practice
Santos (thigh) was a limited participant Wednesday in his return to practice.
Adam Hoge of AllCHGO.com reports that Santos was upbeat after returning to practice Wednesday as a limited participant. The kicker missed the past two games, giving Jake Moody an opportunity to fill in.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Giants' Graham Gano: Returns to practice
The Giants stated Wednesday that Gano (groin) has been designated for return from IR and is slated to practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Gano has missed four consecutive games due to a lingering groin injury. The transaction kicks off a 21-day window wherein he can practice without counting against the 53-man roster limit. He can be fully activated from IR at any point in that span, making Gano potentially eligible to retake the field as early as Sunday versus the Eagles. Jude McAtamney has filled in as New York's top placekicker with Gano sidelined, and across four regular-season appearances has completed both of his field-goal tries but missed three of his 12 extra-point attempts.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Makes all kicks in Week 7
Fairbairn made both of his field-goal attempts and his only extra point try in Houston's loss versus the Seahawks on Monday.
Fairbairn connected on field goals from 46 and 36 yards, both of which came within the final three minutes of the first half. The 31-year-old is off to an efficient start this season despite a low volume of attempts, converting 13 of 15 field-goal tries and all 10 of his point-after tries.
-
Jason Myers K | SEA
Seahawks' Jason Myers: Makes two field goals in win
Myers went 2-for-3 on field-goal attempts and made all three of his PATs in Seattle's win over the Texans on Monday.
Myers connected on kicks of 26 and 47 yards, while his third attempt was blocked by Denico Autry. The 34-year-old has not had an efficient start to the season, as he's converted on just 76.5 percent of his field-goal attempts but will look to have a bounce back performance following the team's upcoming bye week.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Giants' Graham Gano: Moving closer to return
Gano (groin) was scheduled to do some kicking Tuesday and could be activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game in Philadelphia, Paul Schwartz of the New York Post reports.
The Giants haven't yet opened Gano's 21-day practice window, but since he's already missed four games, the team could clear him to practice at any time. Jude McAtamney had served as the Giants' kicker during that time, but after missing two extra-point attempts in Sunday's 33-32 loss to the Broncos, he was cut loose Tuesday. While Gano will step back in as the team's kicker whenever he's deemed fully healthy, Younghoe Koo could be elevated from the practice squad to handle kicking duties in Week 8 if Gano isn't ready.

Jude McAtamney K | NYG
Jude McAtamney: Loses roster spot
The Giants waived McAtamney on Tuesday, Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post reports.
McAtamney had handled kicking duties for the Giants the last four games, converting both of his field-goal tries but misfiring on three of his 12 extra-point tries during that stretch. His two misses proved to be the difference in the Giants' 33-32 loss to the Broncos this past Sunday, and McAtamney will lose his spot on the roster as a result. The Giants are expected to either reinstate Graham Gano (groin) from injured reserve or promote Younghoe Koo from the practice squad to handle kicking duties in Week 8 against the Eagles.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Makes all kicks in loss
Fairbairn successfully converted both of his field-goal attempts and one extra-point kick in Monday's 27-19 loss to the Seahawks in Week 7.
Fairbairn drilled field goals from 36 and 46 yards in the first half, but the Texans were not in position to attempt field goals in the second half. Houston's offense, which appeared to have come around the last two games, regressed following a bye week and failed to take advantage on three of Seattle's four turnovers. Fairbairn has made 13-of-15 FGA and all 10 XPA through six games, but other than Week 5's blowout win over the Ravens and a big fourth quarter against Tennessee in Week 4, the offense has let him down.
