  • Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Perfect to open preseason

Aubrey made his only field-goal attempt from 29 yards and knocked home both extra-point tries in the Cowboys' 17-7 preseason win over the Seahawks on Saturday.

Aubrey became the NFL's highest-paid kicker this offseason by inking a $28 million extension, and he put together a signature perfect night in his first taste of game action since signing the deal. Aubrey's long-distance prowess is legendary, and he's seen a combined 34 field-goal attempts from 50-plus yards over the last two regular seasons, so he should remain the top fantasy option at his position again in 2026.

  • Cam Little K | JAC

Jaguars' Cam Little: Goes 3-for-3 on FG tries in preseason opener

Little made all three of his field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point try in Saturday's 24-20 preseason win against the Saints.

Little showed no rust in his first game action since last season, making field goals from 54, 32 and 36 yards out, respectively. The big-legged kicker enters his third NFL campaign on the heels of a standout sophomore season during which he made 30 of 34 FG tries over 17 regular-season games and set an NFL record with a 68-yard make against the Raiders in Week 9. Little's accuracy and ability to convert from distance make him among the top kicker choices in most fantasy formats.

  • Rams' Harrison Mevis: Nails four kicks in preseason win

Mevis made both of his field-goal attempts and each of his two extra-point tries during the Rams' 20-12 win over the Chiefs in Saturday's preseason game.

Mevis connected on field goals from 25 and 40 yards in the first half before tacking on the extra point following the Rams' two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. He took over as the Rams' starting kicker in November of last season and made the most of his opportunity, connecting on 18 of 19 field-goal attempts and all 48 of his extra-point tries over the team's final 12 games of 2025 (including three playoff games). Mevis is the only kicker on the Rams' 90-man training camp squad, and that shouldn't change once the roster trims down to 53 players before the start of the regular season.

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Idle against Bolts

Fairbairn did not play in the Texans' 27-7 preseason loss to the Chargers on Thursday.

With Fairbairn on the sidelines, Chris Freeman served as the Texans' kicker Thursday and missed his lone field-goal attempt from 61 yards out. Freeman was then waived by Houston on Friday, leaving Fairbairn as the only kicker on the 90-man roster. Unless the Texans sign another kicker, Fairbairn figures to play in each of the Texans' last two preseason games, with the next taking place this Thursday at home against the Raiders.

  • Trey Smack K | GB

Packers' Trey Smack: Perfect in preseason opener

Smack made three field goals in Thursday's 28-9 preseason loss to the Steelers.

Smack -- per the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel -- was a bit wayward early in training camp, but the rookie was true on all three of his attempts, including one from 58 yards away, in his first exhibition appearance. Smack was already the clear favorite to open the season as Green Bay's kicker, and Thursday's showing all but locks him in.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Two made FGs, missed PAT in preseason win

Dicker made both of his field-goal attempts and one of two PAT tries in Thursday's 27-7 preseason win over the Texans.

Dicker connected on field-goal attempts of 34 and 48 yards, though he later missed a PAT attempt in the fourth quarter. He missed just once on 35 PAT tries in the 2025 regular season. Dicker has established himself as one of the league's most reliable kickers in recent seasons while kicking in sunny Los Angeles.

  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Misses three kicks Thursday

Borregales converted just two of five field-goal attempts in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Colts.

Coach Mike Vrabel wasn't thrilled after Borregales missed kicks from 56, 55 and 49 yards. "I don't have a message [for him]," Vrabel said, via Mike Kadlick of CLNSMedia.com. "We're expected to make them. That's pro football." Borregales is the only kicker on the Patriots' roster at the moment, but based on Vrabel's comments, it wouldn't be a shock if New England brings in competition for the remainder of the summer. As a rookie last season, Borregales made 27 of 32 field-goal tries and 53 of 55 PATs across 17 regular-season contests.

  • Dolphins' Riley Patterson: Fellow kicker lands on IR

With Zane Gonzalez (undisclosed) having been placed on IR, Patterson is now the only kicker on the Dolphins' active roster.

During the 2025 regular season, Patterson started all 17 games for the Dolphins en route to making 27 of his 29 field-goal tries and all but one of his 35 PATs. With Gonzalez no longer in the mix, Patterson is on track to reprise his role as the team's top kicker, with his fantasy relevance linked to how well Miami's offense takes off with new QB Malik Willis at the helm.

  • Dolphins' Zane Gonzalez: Lands on IR

Gonzalez (undisclosed) has been has been placed on IR by the Dolphins.

Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley previously noted that Gonzalez was considered week-to-week after suffering an undisclosed injury during Saturday's practice. In the wake of Monday's move, Riley Patterson -- who Gonzalez had been competing with -- is now the only kicker on the Dolphins' active roster.

  • Dolphins' Zane Gonzalez: Week-to-week with undisclosed injury

Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley said Monday that Gonzalez is considered week-to-week after suffering an undisclosed injury during Saturday's practice, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Though he had been competing with incumbent Riley Patterson for Dolphins kicking duties, Gonzalez's injury could effectively take him out of the running for the job. Gonzalez can be ruled out for at least Friday's preseason opener versus the Commanders, and he's not a safe bet to make it back for either of the Dolphins' final two exhibitions.
