  • When asked earlier this week whether he would continue to run less this coming season after logging a career-low 67 rushing attempts through 13 regular-season games in 2025, Jackson was noncommittal, Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports. On that topic, Jackson indicated "whatever it takes to win. So whether I'm running less or running more, it's whatever it takes to win." It's worth noting that various injuries throughout the 2025 campaign affected the star QB's practice participation, including a hamstring issue that cropped up in Week 3 and led to Jackson missing three contests. Now that he's had the offseason to heal up, a healthy Jackson, in general, profiles as a bounce-back candidate in 2026, with a return to triple-digit carries plausible in the absence of injury setbacks. While Jackson declined to elaborate on how talks regarding a possible contract extension with the Ravens were going, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic relays the 29-year-old signal caller maintains he wants to remain with the franchise for the foreseeable future. "I love this organization. I love this city," Jackson said. "This is the team that drafted me, got a lot of love for me and I got a lot of love for this city and the team as well." Meanwhile, the two-time MVP has been a regular at Baltimore's voluntary offseason workout program, with an eye toward gaining familiarity with a new offensive scheme/system being implemented by the team's incoming coaching staff.

  • Jackson is present Tuesday for the second week of voluntary OTAs, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Jackson missed the first week of voluntary OTAs, but he was at the team facility for part of April to get his playbook and start the offensive install under new coordinator/playcaller Declan Doyle. Head coach Jesse Minter downplayed any concerns about Jackson missing the three OTA sessions last week, telling reporters that the QB "had a couple things going on" and "has been one of our leaders of the offseason program," per Ryan Mink of BaltimoreRavens.com.

  • Jackson and the Ravens are in agreement on a restructured contract to add $40 million of cap space for 2026, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Some of that cap space will go to DE Trey Hendrickson, who agreed to a four-year contract with the Ravens shortly after they backed out of a trade for Raiders DE Maxx Crosby (knee). The series of events hasn't made Baltimore popular around the league, but it could work out well for Jackson if the Ravens now keep the 14th overall pick and use it on a blocker or pass catcher. Either way, a contract restructure gives the team more flexibility in the absence of an extension (which may still come later this offseason).

  • Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said Tuesday that he's confident a new contract extension with Jackson will be finalized this offseason, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Jackson signed a five-year, $260 million extension in April 2023, but with his cap hit set to jump to $74.5 million for 2026 and 2027, a new deal to lower that number is a priority for Baltimore. After his career year in 2024, Jackson encountered multiple hurdles in 2025, most notably missing four regular-season games due to injury. He finished the year with a lackluster 2,549 passing yards, 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions after throwing for over 4,000 yards and a 41:4 TD:INT the year prior, while also having his rushing totals decline to just 349 yards and two scores on 67 carries.

  • Jackson (back) was present for practice Wednesday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Jackson didn't practice at all last week before missing this past Saturday's win over the Packers, which helped set up this Sunday's game against the Steelers to decide the AFC North title. As Hensley notes, Jackson practicing on a Wednesday has been a rare occurrence of late, with the QB's participation, in any capacity, thus representing a good sign in terms of his chances of returning to action this weekend.
