Curry (rest) is in the starting lineup for Saturday's preseason matchup with the Kings, Danny Emerman of SFStandard.com reports. Curry is back after sitting out Wednesday's exhibition for rest, but he will be limited to the first half of Saturday's preseason game. Joining him in the first unit will be Brandin Podziemski, Gui Santos, Yaxel Lendeborg and Draymond Green.

Curry generated 16 points, 4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five assists and two rebounds across 14 minutes in Tuesday's 124-98 preseason win over the Lakers. Curry made the most of his limited court time, drilling three shots beyond the arc in short order. Curry won't travel with the team to Portland, and the veteran's preseason participation is expected to be very limited to avoid injury and keep him fresh for the regular season.

Curry will be limited to "around 20 minutes" in Tuesday's preseason game against the Lakers, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports. Curry is starting again Tuesday but will be limited to roughly 20 minutes of work. However, the multi-time All-Star won't travel with the team to Portland for Wednesday's game, the second of back-to-back outings.

Curry logged 10 points (3-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and a steal in 12 minutes during Sunday's 104-101 preseason loss to the Clippers. Curry understandably saw limited action in the team's preseason opener, but he made the most of his minutes, leading the starting five with 10 points on efficient shooting. Curry will likely continue to see limited minutes throughout the preseason to preserve his health for the regular season. The star guard played in just 43 regular-season games in 2025-26.

Curry will only play the first half in Sunday's preseason opener against the Clippers in Hawaii and should be limited to around 12 to 16 minutes, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports. Curry is one of three veterans who will be playing reduced minutes in the preseason opener Sunday, alongside Draymond Green and Al Horford. The Warriors are clearly trying to keep Curry in the best possible condition before the regular season after he was limited to just 43 regular-season contests in 2025-26 because of a nagging knee injury.
