Raley struck out one in a scoreless two-thirds of an inning of relief to record his second hold of the season in Friday's win over the Giants.

The southpaw took over for Nolan McLean with one out in the sixth inning and runners on second and third, and Raley struck out Rafael Devers before getting Luis Arraez to ground out. Raley's had a strong start to the season as the top left-hander in the Mets' bullpen, posting a 0.00 ERA and 5:0 K:BB over 3.2 innings.

The Blue Jays placed Kirk on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a left thumb fracture, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.

Kirk took a foul tip off his left thumb while catching in the 10th inning of Friday's contest. He doesn't have a return timeline in place yet, per Mae, but some clarity should come after he visits a doctor Monday to determine whether surgery is required. In the meantime, Tyler Heineman will take over as Toronto's starting catcher, and Brandon Valenzuela will come up from Triple-A Buffalo to provide depth.

Soto will get an MRI on Saturday after exiting Friday's win over the Giants with right calf soreness, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports. "There's obviously concern any time you send a player for an MRI, and those areas, the calf area, can be tricky," manager Carlos Mendoza said after the victory. "So we've just got to wait."

The testing could be simply precautionary, but if Soto were to miss significant time, it would be a huge blow to the Mets' offense. The 27-year-old superstar has hit safely in eight straight games to begin the season -- he went 1-for-1 before departing Friday's contest -- while slashing .355/.412/.516 with two doubles, a homer, three runs, five RBI and a 3:6 BB:K. If Soto is unavailable Saturday, Brett Baty could get the nod against right-hander Landen Roupp.

Caissie went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to the Yankees.

The rookie right fielder launched a Will Warren fastball over the right-field fence in the fifth inning. Caissie has had an impressive start to his Marlins tenure, batting .348 (8-for-23) through seven games with two doubles, two homers, on steal, four runs and nine RBI.

Edwards went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to the Yankees.

The speedy infielder dropped a Will Warren fastball into the short porch in right field at Yankee Stadium in the first inning. Edwards has hit safely in seven straight games to begin the season, slashing a blistering .423/.444/.577 with one double, one homer, one RBI, seven runs scored and one steal.

Slaten struck out one over a perfect inning to earn a hold in Friday's 5-2 win over San Diego.

Slaten pitched a 1-2-3 eighth inning to earn his second hold in three appearances this season, both of which set up saves for closer Aroldis Chapman. Coming off a 2025 season affected by a shoulder injury, a healthy Slaten will be a vital piece of the bullpen's setup crew in 2026.

Yesavage (shoulder) allowed one run on one hit and one walk over 2.2 innings for Single-A Dunedin on Friday. He struck our four.

The young right-hander began a rehab assignment after a shoulder impingement cut short his spring, and Yesavage was able to throw 44 pitches while showing velocity that was nearly at his 2025 levels. He appears to be the closest to returning of the Blue Jays' injured starters, with Jose Berrios (elbow) and Shane Bieber (forearm) also working their way back. The next step for Yesavage will be determined in a couple of days once the organization sees how his arm bounced back from Friday's outing.

Valenzuela might get promoted from Triple-A Buffalo after Alejandro Kirk took a foul tip off his thumb during Friday's extra-inning loss to the White Sox, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

The Blue Jays play an afternoon game Saturday, so even if X-rays on Kirk's thumb come back negative, he likely won't be available. That puts Tyler Heineman in line to get the start, but Valenzuela is the logical candidate to back him up for however long Kirk is sidelined. Valenzuela is batting .200 (3-for-15) through four games for Buffalo with a homer, four RBI and a 2:3 BB:K.

Durbin went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's 5-2 win over the Padres.

Durbin, who was 0-for-18 on the road to start his stay in a Red Sox uniform, heard a smattering of boos Friday when introduced prior to Boston's home-opener. The boos grew a little louder after he hit into an inning-ending double play in the second inning. Durbin then turned the boos into cheers in his next plate appearance when he drove in the Red Sox's second run with a two-out RBI single. Despite the shaky start, Durbin will continue to be the primary starter at third base with the opportunity to build off his contribution to Friday's win.

White went 0-for-3 in Friday's win over Arizona.

The veteran outfielder got the start in left field and hit sixth against southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez, but White couldn't get going at the plate. He's 1-for-9 with a run scored and a 1:2 BB:K in five appearances so far as he primarily works in a platoon with Mike Yastrzemski, but White will need to start producing if he wants to keep his roster spot once the Atlanta roster gets healthier.
