Feltner (5-7) allowed seven runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out three over five-plus innings to take the loss versus the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Feltner gave up Shohei Ohtani's 30th homer of the season in the third inning, though the Dodgers didn't stop there. The Rockies made a late push against the Los Angeles bullpen but couldn't get their starter off the hook. Feltner has lost five of his last eight starts, and he's allowed four or more runs in five of those games. For the season, he has a 5.97 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 64:39 K:BB through 92 innings over 19 starts. He's lined up to make his next start on the road versus the Nationals.

Mears (shoulder/lat) suffered another setback and will undergo further testing this week, per MLB.com.

Mears has been sidelined since May 29 due to a right shoulder impingement, with his recovery previously delayed by a right lat strain revealed in a July 10 scan. The 29-year-old had progressed to mound work but has now suffered another apparent setback. Additional testing should provide further clarity on the right-hander's outlook, though the recurring setbacks are certainly concerning. Prior to hitting the shelf, Mears posted a 5.12 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 15:11 K:BB across 19.1 innings.

Freeman went 2-for-3 with a walk, two RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Rockies.

Freeman had gone 0-for-11 over three games versus the Brewers after falling dangerously into the dugout during the Dodgers' series versus the Royals early last week. He's gotten his bat back on track in the thin air of Colorado, going 5-for-8 over the first two games of this series against the Rockies. The first baseman is batting .304 with an .846 OPS, 15 home runs, 60 RBI, 62 runs scored, 29 doubles, one triple and six steals over 123 contests this season.

Ohtani went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Rockies.

Ohtani has reached the 30-homer mark for the sixth year in a row, though he's still well off the pace that saw him club more than 50 homers in each of the previous two seasons. The superstar has made his presence felt with four homers and nine RBI over his last nine contests. He's batting .294 with a .948 OPS this season, to go with 80 RBI, 82 runs scored, 24 doubles, three triples and seven stolen bases. Ohtani also threw a bullpen session Tuesday as he continues to work his way back from knee issues that have kept him off the mound in game action since July 3.

Witt went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a walk in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Athletics.

Witt came through in the clutch, dropping a bloop single into left field with two outs in the ninth inning to bring home the winning run and give the Royals a walk-off victory. Since returning from an injured list stint due to tightness in his lower back, the star shortstop is slashing .340/.435/.528 with two homers, eight RBI, 16 runs and three stolen bases across 14 games. In total, Witt is hitting .287/.361/.460 with 15 homers, 47 RBI, 67 runs and 33 stolen bases over 108 contests.

Scott allowed one run on two hits and failed to record a strikeout or walk over 1.1 innings to earn the save in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Rockies.

Scott inherited a mess from Evan Phillips in the eighth inning but was able to get out of it. In the ninth, Scott gave up a run but maintained the lead to record his 17th save of the season. Edwin Diaz (neck) is back on the injured list after struggling mightily for a couple of weeks following his return from an elbow injury. Scott has had plenty of success in the closer role this year, and he's allowed just two runs over 11.2 innings since the All-Star break, collecting four saves and six holds in that span. If Scott continues to pitch well in the closer role, the job could be his even when Diaz is healthy again. Overall, Scott has a 2.32 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 62:11 K:BB across 50.1 innings this season as one of the Dodgers' most reliable relievers, regardless of role.

Quantrill (5-4) earned the win Tuesday against the Nationals, allowing four hits while striking out five over seven scoreless innings. He did not issue a walk.

Quantrill delivered his longest outing as a Ranger while shutting down one of MLB's most dangerous lineups. He never allowed more than one baserunner in any inning and issued zero walks. The right-hander has made the most of his opportunity filling in for Nathan Eovaldi (elbow), allowing just one run across 12 innings in his two outings. Through nine starts and 17 relief appearances this season, Quantrill owns a 3.13 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 54:22 K:BB across 77.2 innings. He will seek to continue his recent success in his next scheduled start against the Angels.

Pasquantino went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Athletics.

Pasquantino picked up a pair of hits, including an RBI double in the seventh inning. In two games since returning from an IL stint due to right wrist soreness, the first baseman has gone 3-for-8 with two doubles. Overall, he's hitting .236/.320/.352 with six homers, 34 RBI, 34 runs and four stolen bases across 81 contests.

Lauer (8-6) allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out six over five innings to earn the win over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Lauer didn't have a great performance at Coors Field, but he pitched better than opposing starter Ryan Feltner. With 12 runs allowed (11 earned) over his last 15.1 innings, Lauer's form has dropped off during August. He's at a 4.79 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 69:32 K:BB through 103.1 innings over 20 games (17 starts) between the Dodgers and Blue Jays this year. Lauer's place in the rotation looks safe considering Justin Wrobleski (forearm) landed on the injured list Sunday, leaving the Dodgers with five healthy starters on the roster. They appear likely to get by with a five-man rotation thanks to upcoming off days Thursday and Monday, and Lauer is projected to make his next start early next week in Atlanta.

Smith went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Angels.

Smith has homered four times over his last nine games, going 9-for-29 (.310) in that span. He mostly had a July to forget, but the outfielder has gotten himself back on track with the uptick in power lately. For the season, he's hitting .223 with a .694 OPS, 17 homers, 46 RBI, 54 runs scored, 15 doubles, three triples and 10 stolen bases over 123 contests.
