Dana was pulled in the third inning his latest start with Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday due to fatigue, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Per the Angels, Dana is still dealing with fatigue stemming from his diagnosis of mononucleosis in January, and he finished Thursday's start having allowed one run on two hits and one walk while striking out two across 2.1 innings. Given his latest setback, Dana could be removed from a turn in Salt Lake's rotation to give himself extra time to recover. He has a 1-2 record across five starts in Triple-A with a 6.38 ERA and 1.16 WHIP over 18.1 innings.

Sugano (4-3) picked up the win in Saturday's 4-2 victory over the Diamondbacks, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out one.

The 36-year-old right-hander got staked to a 3-1 lead in the first two innings, and Sugano did just enough to make it hold up before being lifted after 88 pitches (54 strikes). It was a needed bounce-back performance after Sugano gave up nine runs in 10.1 innings over his prior two starts, but he isn't fooling anyone right now -- he generated only three swinging strikes Saturday and has struck out two batters or fewer in four straight trips to the mound. He'll take a 4.02 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 25:14 K:BB through 47 innings into his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in a rematch with Arizona.

The Rangers granted Gomber's release from Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Gomber signed a minor-league contract with the Rangers in January and has spent the entire season in Triple-A, where he has an 0-5 record across nine games (eight starts) with a 7.75 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 29:14 K:BB across 33.2 innings. He now has the opportunity to sign with another organization, though it'll likely be another minor-league contract given his struggles in Triple-A.

D'Arnaud (foot) told reporters Saturday that he does not have a timetable for his return from the 10-day injured list, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

D'Arnaud landed on the 10-day injured list May 8 due to right foot plantar fasciitis. He's kept the weight off his foot by using a scooter and relayed that he'll have a better sense of his rehab timeline once he's able to put weight on his foot. Sebastian Rivero will continue to operate as the Angels' backup catcher behind Logan O'Hoppe for as long as d'Arnaud is sidelined.

Rodriguez (4-1) took the loss Saturday, giving up three runs on nine hits over 5.1 innings as the Diamondbacks fell 4-2 to the Rockies. He struck out six without walking a batter.

The veteran southpaw didn't pitch poorly, especially considering the game was at Coors Field, but Colorado ambushed Rodriguez for three runs in the first two frames and Arizona was never able to climb out of that hole. Rodriguez was lifted after 91 pitches (68 strikes), ending his run of quality starts at two. He'll take a 2.53 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 39:22 K:BB through 53.1 innings into his next outing, which is set to come next week in a home rematch with the Rockies.

The Giants optioned Beck to Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday.

Beck will end up without a spot in the Giants' bullpen following the return of Erik Miller (back) from the injured list Saturday. Beck pitched three shutout innings across his two appearances with the big club, though he may need to improve upon his 5.40 ERA in Triple-A before getting another opportunity with San Francisco.

Soriano gave up a run on two hits in the ninth inning Saturday to record his second save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Royals.

With Riley O'Brien having pitched Thursday and Friday and the Cardinals holding a fairly comfortable three-run lead, Soriano got the call to close things out but served up a solo shot to Jac Caglianone and a single to Isaac Collins to make things interesting. Soriano has worked his way into a high-leverage role in his first season with St. Louis, recording eight holds in addition to his two saves with a 3.66 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 16:10 K:BB over 19.2 innings.

The Giants reinstated Miller (back) from the injured list Saturday.

Miller will return to the Giants' bullpen after making just two rehab appearances in the minors, during which he gave up two hits and struck out three batters over two innings. The 28-year-old southpaw owns a 3.18 ERA and 1.24 WHIP through 11.1 innings in the big leagues this year and is likely to compete with Caleb Kilian for saves immediately after returning from the IL. Tristan Beck was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Leahy (5-3) picked up the win in Saturday's 4-2 victory over the Royals, allowing one run on five hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out two.

The right-hander completed six innings for the first time this season, collecting his first quality start on 90 pitches (59 strikes). Leahy has benefitted from some solid offensive support in 2026, with the Cardinals averaging 4.6 runs in his nine starts to help offset his 3.94 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 34:20 K:BB through 45.2 innings. He'll look to win his fourth straight decision in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come on the road next weekend in Cincinnati.

The Giants recalled Brennan from Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday.

With Heliot Ramos (quad) landing on the injured list Saturday, Brennan will come up from Triple-A to fill the void in San Francisco's outfield unit. The 28-year-old has gone 0-for-9 at the plate in the big leagues so far this year but is slashing .341/.374/.451 through 92 plate appearances at Sacramento.
