Quero is on the bench for Wednesday's game against the Angels.

After going 0-for-4 with an RBI and two strikeouts Tuesday, Quero will head to the bench once again for the White Sox. Drew Romo will start his third game in the past four days behind the plate. The 23-year-old Quero opened the campaign as Chicago's primary backstop with Kyle Teel (hamstring) on the injured list, but his struggles have opened the door for Romo.

Grissom will start at second base and bat third in Wednesday's game against the White Sox, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

The 25-year-old will occupy a prominent spot in the order for the series finale while the White Sox send lefty Noah Schultz to the hill. While Grissom has been a regular presence in the lineup against lefties since being activated from the injured list April 11, he's starting to gain some traction in the lineup against right-handed pitching, too. Grissom has started at second base over Adam Frazier in three of the Angels' last four matchups with righties and is holding down a .280/.356/.420 slash line with a 7:4 BB:K over 59 plate appearances on the season. Grissom hasn't yet produced much in the way of counting statistics with one home run, zero steals, seven RBI and six runs in 17 games, but the excellent approach he's displayed at the plate could lead to better production in a near-everyday role.

Lowe is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

After making starts in each of the Halos' last seven games, the left-handed-hitting Lowe will head to the bench Wednesday while the White Sox send southpaw rookie Noah Schultz to the bump. Bryce Teodosio will check in for Lowe in left field and will bat ninth.

Moncada is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

After starting against right-handed pitchers in the first two games of the series, the switch-hitting Moncada will hit the bench Wednesday with southpaw Noah Schultz on the bump for Chicago. Moncada has gone 1-for-19 with a 3:11 BB:K in 23 plate appearances versus left-handed pitching this season.

Romo will start at catcher and bat ninth in Wednesday's game against the Angels.

Slated to start for the fifth time in the White Sox's last six matchups with right-handed pitchers, Romo may have at least temporarily supplanted the struggling Edgar Quero as the team's No. 1 backstop. Since being called up from Triple-A Charlotte on April 25, Romo has made a splash at the back end of the Chicago lineup, going 3-for-14 with three home runs and a 6:3 BB:K over his first six games with the big club.

Bogaerts is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Giants.

Bogaerts had started every game dating back to April 12, so manager Craig Stammen likely viewed Wednesday's afternoon contest as an opportune time to give the veteran infielder a breather. With Bogaerts on the bench, Fernando Tatis will cover second base and Sung-Mun Song will start at shortstop.

Fermin will start at catcher and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Giants.

Though Luis Campusano boasts an OPS that's 447 points higher than Fermin's season mark of .511, the latter's defensive acumen appears to be enough to keep him atop the depth chart for now. Fermin will stick in the starting nine Wednesday for the fourth time in six games.

Lux (shoulder/ankle) is tracking toward a return during the Rays' series in Boston this weekend, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Lux initially went on the injured list with a right shoulder impingement and was later delayed by a left ankle sprain. He's fully recovered now but has not done much on his rehab assignment, slashing .169/.329/.288 with one home run and a 14:20 BB:K over 17 contests. Lux is poised to be the Rays' primary second baseman against righties and will be making his team debut when he gets into a game.

Campusano is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Giants.

The playing time at catcher appears to have tilted back in favor of Freddy Fermin, who will draw his fourth start in six games while Campusano is relegated to the bench. Fermin is regarded as the superior defender of the two, but Campusano has been far more productive at the dish with a .958 OPS in 58 plate appearances.

The Angels optioned Aldegheri to Triple-A Salt Lake on Wednesday.

Aldegheri made what turned out to be just a spot start in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the White Sox, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over four innings. He will return to the rotation at Salt Lake, where he's posted a 7.77 ERA and 23:13 K:BB over 24.1 frames this season.
