Crow-Armstrong went 4-for-5 with two solo home runs in Saturday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Giants.

Crow-Armstrong got the Cubs on the board with a solo shot in the sixth inning before tying the game in the ninth with a 403-foot blast. The 24-year-old is in the midst of an 11-game hitting streak that includes five homers, nine RBI, nine runs scored and one stolen base. The hot stretch has boosted his season slash line to .259/.343/.448 to go along with 11 long balls, 32 RBI, 37 runs scored and 13 steals across 272 plate appearances.

Tucker isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Angels, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Tucker will grab a seat on the bench to begin Saturday's game after going 0-for-3 with a strikeout in Friday's series opener. While he rests, the Dodgers will start Ryan Ward, Andy Pages and Alex Call across the outfield.

Muncy (nose) will start at third base and bat fifth Saturday against the Angels, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Muncy was held out of the lineup for Friday's game after hurting his nose in a collision during Thursday's contest, but he'll be back in action Saturday. The 35-year-old has gone 6-for-27 with two home runs, three RBI and four runs scored across his last nine games.

Wilson (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday, Jason Burke of Roundtable.io reports.

Wilson has been sidelined by a partial left shoulder dislocation since mid-May, but he's now been given the green light to begin testing his shoulder in a competitive setting. The A's haven't said exactly how many minor-league games they plan to have the 24-year-old play, but he figures to come off the injured list sometime next week.

The Brewers selected Rom's contract from Triple-A Nashville on Saturday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

With Brian Fitzpatrick (elbow) becoming the third Brewers reliever to land on the injured list in the past two days, the team will turn to Rom to provide depth to its bullpen. The 26-year-old southpaw hasn't pitched in the majors since 2023, but he's posted a 2.81 ERA and 1.19 WHIP to go with a 37:8 K:BB through 25.2 innings at Nashville this season.

The Brewers placed Fitzpatrick (elbow) on the 15-day injured list Saturday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The results of Fitzpatrick's MRI are still unknown, though the Brewers have already determined that the 26-year-old lefty will need to spend time on the injured list. Drew Rom was selected from Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move to fill the void in Milwaukee's bullpen.

Smith (glute/wrist/illness) began a rehab assignment at Double-A Frisco on Saturday.

Smith has battled a glute injury, wrist inflammation and viral meningitis since landing on the injured list in early May, but he is now finally ready to begin playing in minor-league games. It's unknown how long the Rangers plan to keep the 28-year-old out on assignment, but he'll likely require a handful of rehab games after sitting out a month-plus.

The Rangers placed Jansen on the 10-day injured list Saturday, retroactive to Wednesday, with a right forearm strain.

Jansen's strained forearm helps to explain why he hasn't played since Tuesday. Kyle Higashioka will fill in as Texas' primary catcher while Jansen takes at least another week off to recover, and new signee Elias Diaz will serve as the backup.

The Red Sox placed Moran on the 15-day injured list Saturday, retroactive to Friday, with left elbow inflammation, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

Moran struck out three batters over two shutout innings during his last appearance Thursday, but he appears to have come away from the outing with elbow trouble. It's unknown whether his inflammation is the result of a structural issue, but he'll remain out for at least two weeks either way. Alec Gamboa was recalled from Triple-A Worcester in a corresponding move.

The Yankees selected Sanchez's contract from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.

The Yankees will swap out J.C. Escarra for Sanchez in an effort to find any sort of offensive production from the catcher position. Sanchez has posted just a .454 OPS in his MLB career but has been serviceable in the minors this year with a .227 batting average and .702 OPS through 147 plate appearances.
