Stratton was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Stratton has struck out seven over 5.1 scoreless innings at Triple-A since the Pirates acquired him from Atlanta on June 18. Evan Sisk (elbow inflammation) was placed on the injured list in a corresponding move.

Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored in Friday's win over the Angels.

Gonzalez smacked his first triple of the season in the second inning, and he later delivered a bases-loaded, two-run single in the top of the third, scoring Wilyer Abreu and Willson Contreras. Gonzalez underwent shoulder surgery in March and didn't make his season debut until June 28. He's gone 5-for-15 at the plate since then.

Sisk was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday with left elbow inflammation, Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

The 29-year-old southpaw has a 2.23 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 43 strikeouts in 36.1 innings out of the Pirates' bullpen this year. Hunter Stratton was recalled from Triple-A to take Sisk's place in the bullpen.

Chapman recorded his 17th save of the season Friday against the Angels after tossing a scoreless ninth inning, allowing two hits and striking out one.

Chapman went 4-for-6 in save chances in June, giving up six runs (five earned) and posting a 7.50 ERA and 2.50 WHIP across six innings. Even though this was far from his cleanest outing, at least he got the job done while protecting the Red Sox's three-run lead in the ninth, in the process becoming MLB's new strikeout king among relievers. Chapman has 17 saves in 19 chances this season, posting a 2.10 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 11.6 K/9 across 25.2 innings (27 appearances).

The Yankees recalled Beck from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre ahead of his start Saturday against the Twins at Yankee Stadium.

Beck, 27, has a 1.24 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 31:10 K:BB in 29 innings over his last five starts at Triple-A. He has a chance to stick in the rotation for another start before the All-Star break due to the absence of Carlos Rodon (elbow), who landed on the injured list Friday.

Rodriguez is out of the lineup Saturday against the Nationals.

Rodriguez is hitting .273 with two home runs and a 10:5 K:BB in his last 10 games. Henry Davis will start behind the dish and bat ninth.

Bazzana went 2-for-5 with an RBI in Friday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the White Sox.

Bazzana, who was given a day off Wednesday amid a 2-for-29 stretch, logged a second consecutive multi-hit game Friday. He's 4-for-8 with two walks, two RBI and two runs scored since getting a breather. While this two-game response is encouraging, the rookie has more to do to prove that he's adjusted to the adjustments of MLB pitching. Bazzana's .643 OPS for the month of June was 231 points lower than it was in May.

Ruiz is out of the lineup Saturday against the Pirates.

Ruiz, who has started four of the last seven games, is hitting .265 with zero home runs and one steal in his last 10 games. Drew Millas is starting behind the dish and batting eighth.

Bennett (3-3) earned the win against the Angels on Friday, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out six over 7.2 innings. He also tossed a wild pitch but did not walk a batter.

This was Bennett's longest outing of the season, and he came just four outs shy of tossing a complete game, though by the time he left the mound, he was already at 92 pitches (61 strikes). Bennett has been pitching very well of late, and this was his fourth consecutive outing allowing two earned runs or fewer. He owns a 1.78 ERA and 0.67 WHIP across 25.1 innings over that stretch, and he's slated to make his next start on the road against the White Sox.

Palmquist will serve as the Nationals' opening pitcher in front of Zack Littell during Saturday's game against the Pirates, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

Palmquist, who was recalled from Triple-A Rochester earlier this week, most recently logged an inning of relief in Boston on Wednesday. He'll likely be capped at an inning or two once again Saturday before giving way to Littell.
