Smith started in left field and went 1-for-4 with a triple in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Tigers.

Smith had just three extra-base hits during his first stint in the majors this season before being demoted after 34 games, but he's delivered two of them in four games since returning to the majors. He started the season as the team's primary second baseman but has returned as a utility player. Smith is 4-for-12 with a triple, a home run and two RBI over four games (two starts) while appearing at first base, second base and left field (twice) since.

Harris went 2-for-5 with a run scored and three RBI in Sunday's loss to the Mets.

The center fielder produced his third straight game with multiple hits and multiple RBI, a surge in which he's gone 7-for-14 with two homers, five runs and seven RBI. Harris is already just four home runs shy of the career-high 20 he set in 2025, while his .840 OPS on the year is a hair shy of the career-best .853 mark he posted as a rookie in 2022.

Nimmo went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's 6-3 loss to Detroit.

Nimmo's fourth-inning single produced the Rangers' second run and was his first hit since returning from a shoulder injury. Prior to the injury, Nimmo was on a roll, having gone 17-for-57 (.298) with five walks, nine extra-base hits, six RBI and seven runs scored over 14 games.

Arias started at third base and went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the White Sox.

Arias wiped out Chicago's 6-3 lead with a three-run blast in the fifth inning. It was the fourth home run of the season for Arias, who continues to be the primary fill-in for the injured Jose Ramirez (hand) at third base. Ramirez recently began hitting off a tee and could progress to overhand pitching in the coming days but remains on his post-surgery timeline of five-to-seven weeks. That means Arias should continue as a lineup regular until late July. Since returning from his own injury, Arias is 11-for-47 (.234) with two home runs, five RBI, one steal and six runs scored over 16 games.

DeLauter went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and an additional run scored in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the White Sox.

DeLauter got swept up in a slugfest, as the two teams combined to go deep five times. He belted a two-run shot in the first inning to erase Chicago's early lead. It was DeLauter's eighth home run of the season and first since May 17, a span of 30 games. Since being activated off the injured list in late June, the 24-year-old outfielder is batting .333 (12-for-36) with four extra-base hits, seven RBI, one steal (caught once) and five runs scored over eight contests.

The Mariners promoted Arroyo from Double-A Arkansas to Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday, Daniel Kremer of MLB.com reports.

Arroyo earned a promotion to the Mariners' top minor-league affiliate after slashing .287/.364/.456 with 10 home runs and 13 stolen bases across 65 games at Arkansas. The 21-year-old has split time between second base and left field this season, two positions that are occupied by Cole Young and Randy Arozarena, respectively, in the majors. Arroyo is now one step away from his debut, but it might take an injury for him to be summoned to the big leagues in 2026.

The Mariners promoted Montes from Double-A Arkansas to Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Montes slashed .234/.369/.550 with 25 home runs at Arkansas, which included a 1.199 OPS in June. Contact remains an issue, as the hulking slugger has struck out at a 30.4 percent clip in 2026, but he has some of the best power of any minor-league hitter and has a chance to reach the majors before the end of this season.

Steer started at first base and went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Orioles.

Steer put the Reds on top with a two-run homer in the fifth inning. It was the 14th homer of the season for Steer, who is on track for a fourth consecutive campaign with at least 20 home runs. Steer continues to be a lineup regular but does not call any one position home.

Pirates general manager Ben Cherington said Sunday that Dotel (lat) will make another rehab appearance with a minor-league affiliate Tuesday, Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Dotel tossed a scoreless frame for Double-A Altoona during the first appearance of his rehab assignment June 27, but he hasn't pitched since. The right-hander doesn't appear to have suffered a setback in his recovery from a lat strain, as the Pirates opted to have him throw a 20-pitch live batting practice session Friday, per MLB.com. Dotel will now head back to the minors Tuesday for what could be a final tune-up outing before he returns from the 15-day injured list.

Pirates general manager Ben Cherington said Sunday that Horwitz (hamstring) is progressing well and will hopefully return from the 10-day injured list at some point shortly after the All-Star break, Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Horwitz landed on the IL on June 25 after suffering a left hamstring strain but already seems to be making positive strides in his recovery process, as he recently reported to the Pirates' facility in Florida to begin his rehab program. Cherington suggested that Horwitz is unlikely to be activated when the Pirates open their second-half schedule July 17 in Cleveland, but the 28-year-old first baseman may be ready to begin a minor-league rehab assignment around that time. If that's the case, Horwitz could be on track to return from the IL before the end of July.
