Acuna went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, an additional RBI, an additional run scored and three walks in Monday's 11-5 win over Washington.

Acuna answered Nasim Nunez's leadoff homer in the first inning with a solo shot of his own to even the score, then was pitched around the rest of the night, drawing three walks for the fourth time this season. While Atlanta's year has fallen short of expectations, the star right fielder has continued to produce when healthy, slashing .285/.415/.508 with 12 doubles, 19 homers and 39 RBI in 90 games.

Sale (6-5) earned the win Monday, allowing five runs on three hits and two walks over five innings in a 11-5 win over Washington. He struck out six.

Sale wasn't at his best Monday, giving up five runs for the first time since April 8. Despite missing time midseason with a fractured ribcage, the 36-year-old has generally been excellent when healthy, posting a 2.63 ERA and 1.07 WHIP across 20 starts and 120 innings. He's currently lined up to pitch Atlanta's season finale Sunday, though the team could decide Monday's outing was the lanky left-hander's last of 2025 and turn to another arm.

Gore (5-15) took the loss Monday, allowing four runs on four hits and four walks over two-plus innings against Atlanta. He struck out three.

Gore didn't make it out of the third inning Monday, giving up two early runs before being lifted after allowing two baserunners to start the frame. It's been a tale of two halves for the southpaw, who carried a 3.02 ERA and 1.20 WHIP through 19 starts and 110.1 innings before the All-Star break but has struggled since, now sitting with a 4.17 ERA and 1.35 WHIP over 30 starts and 159.2 innings. The 26-year-old is currently lined up to pitch the Nationals' season finale Sunday, though the club could decide to shut him down early.

Albies was removed from Monday's game against the Nationals due to a hamate bone fracture in his left hand.

Albies appeared to suffer the injury on a follow-through of his swing during an at-bat in the third inning. This issue will shut him down for the final week of the regular season, and with Atlanta already eliminated from postseason contention, he can shift his focus on getting healthy for the start of spring training.

Schwellenbach (elbow) has resumed throwing and is hopeful to throw a live batting practice session in the near future, Grant McAuley of the Marietta Daily Journal reports.

Schwellenbach has received the green light to begin a throwing program in Atlanta as he continues to work back from a small fracture in his right elbow suffered at the end of June. McAuley notes that the club is optimistic Schwellenbach can complete a live BP session over the next week or so before being sent home for the winter, which effectively rules him out for the remainder of the 2025 season.

Albies (arm) left Monday's contest against the Nationals in the third inning, 680 The Fan Atlanta reports.

Albies was in the middle of an at-bat in the bottom of the third inning when the medical staff came out, ultimately exiting the game after having his left arm/wrist examined. It's unclear what exactly the 28-year-old is dealing with, and more information on his status will likely come in the near future. In the meantime, Nick Allen replaced him at second base versus Washington.

Donovan is no longer in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Giants due to general stiffness and soreness, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Donovan was initially listed as the leadoff hitter and starting second baseman for Monday's series opener, but he's been removed a few hours before first pitch. He can be considered day-to-day until further notice. Jose Fermin will bat eighth and start at second base in Donovan's stead.

Yelich is batting leadoff and serving as the designated hitter Monday night against the Padres, Sophia Minnaert of FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin reports.

This marks the first time this season that Yelich will get a look in the leadoff spot, resulting in Sal Frelick being bumped down to the No. 5 spot in the order. Yelich hasn't had a great month of September at the plate thus far, batting .231 with two home runs, eight RBI, one stolen base and six runs scored in 14 matchups.

Winn will have a consultation Wednesday and then undergo arthroscopic surgery on the meniscus tear in his right knee Thursday in Dallas, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

More details regarding Winn's post-op rehab should be available following the operation, but the full expectation is that he will be 100 percent for the start of spring training. Winn played with the injury for several months before the decision was made in mid-September to shut him down. Thomas Saggese has been filling in at shortstop for the Cardinals since Winn was placed on the 10-day injured list.

Vaughn will start at first base and bat sixth in Monday's game against the Padres.

Vaughn had been briefly overtaken by Jake Bauers as the Brewers' primary first baseman, but it will be Vaughn holding down first base Monday for the fifth time across the last seven contests. The 27-year-old Vaughn is slashing .415/.458/.561 in September, though he's yet to go deep this month.
