Merrill Kelly SP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Merrill Kelly: Grabs fourth consecutive win
Kelly (5-3) earned the win Monday against the Giants, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out four over seven innings.
Kelly turned in another strong outing, tossing 64 of his 96 pitches for strikes while generating 25 combined called and swinging strikes. The veteran right-hander allowed both of his runs in the fourth inning on a two-run double by Rafael Devers, but otherwise kept San Francisco quiet. Kelly has now delivered four straight quality starts, allowing just seven runs over his last 29 innings for a 2.17 ERA during that stretch. Despite the recent success, the underlying metrics remain concerning, as Kelly still ranks in the bottom one percent of MLB in xERA, xSLG and xBA. He now owns a 5.25 ERA with a 31:20 K:BB across eight starts and is scheduled to face Seattle on Sunday.

Jacob Misiorowski SP | MIL
Brewers' Jacob Misiorowski: First to 100 Ks in dominant win
Misiorowski (5-2) earned the win Monday against the Cardinals, allowing one run on two hits and one walk with 12 strikeouts across seven innings.
Dominance has become the expectation for Misiorowski, as the Cardinals' lone run in the sixth inning was the first run against Misiorowski in the month of May. His 12 strikeouts were a new season-high and made Misiorowski the first pitcher to reach 100 strikeouts in 2026. He's posted an incredible 49:6 K:BB across 31.1 innings this month, while allowing just one run on 11 hits. One would be hard-pressed to find a starter better than Misiorowski through the first two months of the season. On the year, he owns a microscopic 1.83 ERA and 100:19 K:BB across 64 innings. Misiorowski is in the 98th percentile or better in fastball velocity (99.7 mph), whiff rate (39 percent) and strikeout rate (39.3 percent).

Marcus Semien 2B | NYM
Mets' Marcus Semien: Slaps fourth long ball in loss
Semien went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Reds.
Semien finally got the Mets on the board in the sixth inning, leading off the frame with a solo homer off Nick Lodolo after the left-hander had silenced New York's lineup through the first five frames. The blast was Semien's fourth homer of the season and a much-needed encouraging sign amid a recent slump. Entering Monday, the veteran infielder was batting just .158 with an ugly .171 OBP over his previous 10 games.

Tyler Stephenson C | CIN
Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Blasts fourth home run
Stephenson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 7-2 win over the Mets.
Stephenson delivered a key blow in Cincinnati's four-run fourth inning, taking Nolan McLean deep for a two-run shot to extend the lead. The homer was his fourth of the season as the catcher continues to search for more consistency at the plate. While the overall production has been underwhelming, one bright spot has been his improved plate discipline compared to the 2025 regular season, as Stephenson has raised his walk rate from 10 percent to 13.2 percent while lowering his strikeout rate from 33.9 percent to 27.1 percent. He is now slashing .181/.284/.307 with four doubles, 15 RBI and nine runs scored across 148 plate appearances.

Henry Davis C | PIT
Pirates' Henry Davis: Tallies fourth homer
Davis went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Monday against the Cubs.
Davis hasn't had much success at the plate all season and has slipped into an even timeshare with Endy Rodriguez in the last week. Davis did deliver Monday, smacking his fourth home run of the season in the eighth inning, which turned out to be the game-winning run. He has now gone yard twice in his last three starts.

Nolan McLean SP | NYM
Mets' Nolan McLean: Roughed up in loss
McLean (2-4) took the loss Monday against the Reds, allowing seven runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six over 3.1 innings.
McLean looked sharp early by striking out the side in the first inning, but things unraveled quickly after that. He allowed three consecutive baserunners in the second inning to plate the game's first run before surrendering a solo homer to JJ Bleday in the third. The fourth inning proved disastrous, as five of the six batters he faced reached base and four more runs came across before his exit. The right-hander has now allowed six or more runs in consecutive outings and has surrendered a homer in four straight starts. While he has shown the strikeout upside, McLean owns a 5.16 ERA and 1.32 WHIP during the month of May and is scheduled to face a Miami lineup that has put up great numbers recently next.

Ryan O'Hearn RF | PIT
Pirates' Ryan O'Hearn: Begins working out
O'Hearn (quadriceps) worked out in the outfield ahead of Monday's game against the Cubs, MLB.com reports.
O'Hearn did agility and cone drills in the outfield, marking his first activity since being placed on the injured list May 17. He remains on track for a mid-June return.
-
Nick Lodolo SP | CIN
Reds' Nick Lodolo: Rebounds with strong outing in win
Lodolo (1-1) earned the win Monday against the Mets, allowing one run on six hits while striking out seven over six innings.
Lodolo looked much sharper in his fourth start since returning from the injured list, throwing 65 of his 98 pitches for strikes while generating 15 whiffs. The left-hander held New York scoreless through five innings before Marcus Semien led off the sixth with a solo homer. Command had been a major issue during Lodolo's previous starts, where he allowed 12 runs across 15 innings with an 11:9 K:BB, but Monday he didn't issue a walk -- although he did plunk Carson Benge with pitches twice. Lodolo owns a 5.57 ERA and 1.38 WHIP through 21 innings and is slated to face Atlanta next.

TJ Rumfield 1B | COL
Rockies' TJ Rumfield: Exits after HBP
Rumfield left Monday's game against the Dodgers after being hit by a pitch on his right hand, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
Rumfield was struck by a 97 mph fastball in the top of the first inning and was immediately pulled from the game. He'll presumably be sent for imaging to determine the extent of the injury.

Jonathan Loaisiga RP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Jonathan Loaisiga: Tosses scoreless frame
Loaisiga (shoulder) allowed one hit in a scoreless inning during Monday's 6-2 victory over the Giants.
Loaisiga hadn't appeared in a game since May 19 after dealing with right shoulder fatigue, but he was given the green light to handle the eighth inning Monday. He's been one of Arizona's more reliable bullpen arms lately, as he's posted seven straight scoreless outings (six innings).
