Dominic Fletcher CF | PIT
White Sox's Dominic Fletcher: Rejoins major-league club
The White Sox recalled Fletcher from Triple-A Charlotte on Monday.
Fletcher is absorbing the roster spot vacated by Tommy Pham, who was traded to the Cardinals earlier Tuesday. The 26-year-old Fletcher has managed a .480 OPS in 28 games with the White Sox this season but could play semi-regularly around the outfield.

Chris Martin RP | TEX
Red Sox's Chris Martin: Slated for side session
Martin (elbow) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Wednesday, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports.
Martin has been on the injured list since July 5 with right elbow inflammation, but he's set to advance to the final phase of his recovery program if his upcoming bullpen session goes well. Assuming he escapes the workout no worse for the wear, Martin could begin a rehab assignment as soon as this weekend. Martin owns a 3.42 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 10 holds across 26.1 innings this season.

Touki Toussaint RP | LAA
White Sox's Touki Toussaint: Back with big club
The White Sox selected Toussaint's contract from Triple-A Charlotte on Monday.
Toussaint was removed from the 40-man roster just before Opening Day but is back in the big leagues after delivering a 5.15 ERA and 49:39 K:BB over 50.2 innings in 17 appearances (eight starts) with Charlotte. He could make some starts and/or fill a long-relief role with Chicago.

Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Returns from IL
The Rangers reinstated Jung (wrist) from the 60-day injured list Monday.
Though Jung isn't in the lineup for Monday's series opener in St. Louis, he finally looks to be back to full health after undergoing right wrist surgery in early April. Jung was pulled off his rehab assignment in late June after experienced renewed soreness in the wrist, but he checked out fine after playing in three games at Double-A Frisco over the weekend while going 4-for-10 with a double and two RBI. Look for Jung to return to Texas' lineup Tuesday and settle back in as the club's everyday third baseman.

Jon Gray SP | TEX
Rangers' Jon Gray: Goes on IL with groin strain
The Rangers placed Gray on the 15-day injured list Monday with a right groin strain.
Gray was diagnosed with the groin strain upon being sent in for further imaging after he was scratched before the first inning of his scheduled start in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Blue Jays when he experienced discomfort during pregame warmups. The right-hander had been in line to make his next turn through the rotation this upcoming weekend versus Boston, but the Rangers could have long relievers Dane Dunning or Jose Urena step in for a spot start. Cody Bradford (rib/back) was activated from the 60-day injured list and could also be an option to replace Gray in the rotation, if he isn't needed in the bullpen during the three-game series in St. Louis that begins Monday.

Justin Turner DH | CHC
Mariners' Justin Turner: Traded to Seattle
The Mariners acquired Turner from the Blue Jays on Monday in exchange for outfielder RJ Schreck, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Turner was mysteriously pulled from the first game of Monday's doubleheader in Baltimore after just one plate appearance, and the trade with the Mariners ending up being the reasoning behind his early exit. The 39-year-old will give Seattle an everyday option at first base and/or designated hitter, and while he's struggled to a .257/.351/.373 slash line for the season as a member of the Blue Jays, he should still help upgrade a slumping lineup. Seattle will absorb the $4.3 million remaining on Turner's $13 million salary for 2024, per Daniel Kramer of MLB.com.

Trent Grisham CF | NYY
Yankees' Trent Grisham: Set to lose playing time
Grisham is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies.
Grisham had served as a regular starter against right-handed pitching for the past month, but his playing time should begin trending down after Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Monday. With Stanton set to take over as the Yankees' everyday designated hitter, Aaron Judge is expected to serve as the club's primary option in center field, leaving no spot available for Grisham.
