Isbel is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Brewers.

Isbel went 2-for-9 with a double and two runs scored while starting in center field in all three games of the Royals' season-opening series versus the Guardians. He'll be getting a breather as Kansas City opens a three-game set in Milwaukee, with Maikel Garcia spelling Isbel in the outfield.

O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Red Sox.

The Orioles are facing a left-handed starter (Sean Newcomb) for the first time this season, so the lefty-hitting O'Hearn will retreat to the bench in the series opener. Heston Kjerstad will serve as the Orioles' designated hitter in place of O'Hearn, who went 6-for-15 with two doubles, two walks and two runs in the team's season-opening four-game series in Toronto.

Abreu is absent from the lineup for Monday's game in Baltimore.

Abreu reached base 12 times during the Red Sox' season-opening four-game series against the Rangers. They faced all right-handers in that series, though, and Abreu will take a seat Monday as the Orioles send lefty Cade Povich to the mound. Rob Refsnyder is drawing the start in right field.

India (head) will start at third base and bat leadoff in Monday's game against the Brewers.

India's availability for the series opener in Milwaukee was in some question after he was removed from Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Guardians after being struck on the helmet by a pitch in the ninth inning, but his early exit looks to have been precautionary. He apparently passed all follow-up testing and should be ready to handle an everyday role during the Royals' upcoming six-game week.

Westburg (undisclosed) will start at second base and bat leadoff in Monday's game against the Red Sox, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

After going 6-for-13 with three solo home runs and a walk through the Orioles' first three games, Westburg was surprisingly held out of the lineup for Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Blue Jays. Though the assumption heading into the day was that Westburg was getting a rest day, manager Brandon Hyde said after the game that the 26-year-old infielder was available for the contest only in an emergency due to an unspecified issue. Whatever the case, Westburg is back in action Monday, as anticipated, so fantasy managers can feel comfortable with locking him into their lineups.

Jeffers will start at designated hitter and bat third in Monday's game against the White Sox.

With the Twins kicking off their three-game series in Chicago with a day game, Jeffers will get a break from catching duties after he was behind the plate for eight innings in Sunday's 9-2 loss to the Cardinals. However, the Twins will keep Jeffers' bat in the lineup by using him at DH, while the lefty-hitting Matt Wallner takes a seat against White Sox lefty Martin Perez.

The Twins selected McCaughan's contract from Triple-A St. Paul on Monday, Bobby Nightengale of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

McCaughan will provide length in the bullpen for Minnesota. He's replacing Randy Dobnak, who was needed for 5.1 innings out of the bullpen Sunday in St. Louis.

The Twins designated Dobnak for assignment Monday, Bobby Nightengale of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

Dobnak tossed a bullpen-saving 5.1 innings of one-run ball in relief of an ineffective Bailey Ober in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals. His reward is an exit from the 26-man active roster and 40-man roster in favor of a fresh arm in Darren McCaughan, who was called up from Triple-A St. Paul.

Refsnyder (illness) will start in right field and bat cleanup in Monday's game against the Orioles, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Refsnyder didn't play at all during the Red Sox' opening series versus the Rangers, in part because he was battling an illness. He's recovered now, though, and will slot into a prime spot in Boston's lineup against southpaw Cade Povich.

Maton is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Twins.

While serving as Chicago's designated hitter in final two games of the team's season-opening series versus the Angels, Maton went 1-for-6 with a solo home run. Though he'll head to the bench Monday while the Twins send a right-hander (Chris Paddack) to the mound, the lefty-hitting Maton could end up playing against righties more often than not if he's able to build on his outstanding spring training. Despite attending camp as a non-roster invitee, Maton earned his way onto the White Sox's Opening Day squad by turning in a .989 OPS over 19 Cactus League games.
