Correa went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Friday's 12-6 extra-inning win over the Mariners.

Correa gave the Twins their first lead when he took Casey Legumina deep on the first pitch of the 10th inning. Over seven games since his return from a concussion, Correa is 8-for-24 (.333) with three homers and five RBI. The shortstop is up to five long balls this season while slashing .250/.290/.390 with 18 RBI, 20 runs scored, nine doubles and no stolen bases over 48 contests.

Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Friday against the Rays.

Diaz took Garrett Cleavinger deep in the ninth inning to provide Houston with a walk-off win. It was Diaz's seventh home run of the season, and his second in as many days. After a slow start to the year, he's hit .295 with five home runs, 12 RBI and 12 runs scored across 25 games in May.

Larnach went 4-for-6 with a home run, a double and four RBI in Friday's 12-6 extra-inning win over the Mariners.

Larnach's four hits matched his total from his previous seven games (4-for-22). The designated hitter delivered a solo shot in the fourth inning to spark the Twins' comeback, and he also delivered the tying run in the ninth with an RBI single. He plated two more runs with a double in the 10th for good measure. This big performance has him up to eight homers, 27 RBI, 30 runs scored, two stolen bases, eight doubles and a .255/.323/.422 slash line over 55 contests this season.

Castro went 2-for-3 with two home runs, two walks, three RBI and three runs scored in Friday's 12-6 extra-inning win over the Mariners.

It was a rare display of power for Castro, who played a key role in the Twins' comeback effort. He hit a solo shot in the seventh inning and a two-run blast in the ninth, the latter of which pulled Minnesota within a run. The light-hitting utility player doubled his homer total to four with this big game, which was also his first multi-hit effort since May 15 versus the Orioles. Castro has a .238/.321/.402 slash line, 10 RBI, 20 runs scored, two stolen bases and eight doubles across 36 contests.

Cleavinger (0-1) allowed one earned run on one hit while striking out two across two-thirds of an inning to take the loss Friday against the Astros.

Cleavinger has been one of the Rays' most reliable high-leverage relievers this season, and he's maintained an impressive 27:4 K:BB across 21.1 frames while turning in scoreless efforts in 17 of 23 appearances. He stumbled Friday, however, allowing a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning after striking out the first two batters he faced to take his first loss of the campaign.

Matthews allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out seven over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Friday.

Matthews gave up back-to-back home runs to Cal Raleigh and Randy Arozarena in the first inning, putting the Twins in an early 4-0 hole. They were able to dig out of it, sparing the 25-year-old right-hander from taking his second loss. He hadn't allowed a homer over his first two starts and Matthews now has a 6.43 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 21:5 K:BB over 14 innings this season. Matthews' next start is tentatively projected to be on the road versus the Athletics.

Mangum went 0-for-3 Friday against the Astros.

Mangum was activated from the injured list Friday after missing roughly five weeks. He immediately slotted third into the lineup with lefty Framber Valdez on the mound, though he'll likely slide down the order when the Rays take on right-handed pitching.

The Mariners are expected to promote Young from Triple-A Tacoma this weekend, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Young is considered one of the best prospects in the Mariners' farm system and has been in Triple-A all season, slashing .278/.391/.463 with five homers, 26 RBI, 39 runs and four stolen bases through 243 plate appearances. He has maintained a strong batting average throughout his ascent through the minor leagues and has surpassed 20 steals in each full season he's played. The 21-year-old only has experience at the middle infield positions, and with J.P. Crawford cemented at shortstop, Young's clearest path to playing time in Seattle is at the keystone.

Higashioka went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and a walk in Friday's 11-1 win over St. Louis.

It was Higashioka's first multi-hit game in 11 outings this month, and he scored a season-high three runs as part of the Rangers' offensive outburst. The veteran backstop remains a without a home run in his last 17 contests (51 at-bats), during which he's batting just .216 with two doubles, five RBI and six runs scored. Even so, Higashioka has a clearer pathway to action as the designated hitter while Joc Pederson nurses a broken hand, as the former has started four of Texas' past five games since the latter went down.

Semien went 4-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored in Friday's 11-1 win over St. Louis.

It was much-needed breakout game for Semien, who's been mired in a season-long slump that's seen him get dropped to the lower part of Texas' lineup. His four hits established a season high, and the long ball was his first since May 11. The veteran second baseman likely still has work to do before the Rangers consider elevating him to a higher lineup position -- Semien is still batting just .200 with eight RBI in 90 at-bats in May -- but Friday was certainly a step in the right direction.
