Ezequiel Duran 3B | TEX
Rangers' Ezequiel Duran: Back on bench Sunday
Duran is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.
With the Rangers facing lefty starters in the previous three contests, Duran cracked the lineup on each occasion, going a collective 6-for-10 with a double and two runs. Duran still looks as though he'll be limited to a short-side platoon role moving forward, as he'll head back to the bench Sunday while right-hander Zack Wheeler toes the rubber for Philadelphia.

Elvis Peguero RP | CHW
White Sox's Elvis Peguero: Summoned from Charlotte
The White Sox recalled Peguero from Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday.
Claimed off waivers from Milwaukee last weekend, Peguero was optioned to Charlotte but will now move up to the majors after making just one Triple-A appearance. The 28-year-old righty previously made six appearances out of the Milwaukee bullpen this season, logging a 4.91 ERA and 1.64 WHIP over 7.1 innings.

Bryan Hudson RP | CHW
White Sox's Bryan Hudson: Heads to Triple-A
The White Sox optioned Hudson to Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday.
Chicago will move Hudson and Wikelman Gonzalez off the roster and replace them with a pair of fresh bullpen arms in lefty Cam Booser and righty Elvis Peguero. After being claimed off waivers from the Brewers, Hudson made three appearances for Chicago and surrendered three earned runs on six hits and one walk over 3.2 innings.

White Sox's Wikelman Gonzalez: Sent down to Triple-A
The White Sox optioned Gonzalez to Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday.

Michael Taylor CF | CHW
White Sox's Michael Taylor: Sitting after four straight starts
Taylor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.
Though he'll head to the bench for Sunday's series finale, Taylor's playing time appears to be on the rise while his bat is hot. The veteran started in each of the last four games -- three in right field and one in left field -- and went 6-for-15 with three solo home runs, one double, two walks and an additional run.

Carlos Santana 1B | ATL
Guardians' Carlos Santana: Sitting in second straight
Santana is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.
Jose Ramirez is getting a partial day off as the designated hitter, leaving no room in the starting nine for Santana. The switch-hitting Santana should still be locked into an everyday role against left-handed pitching, but he could have to settle for a part-time role versus righties if the Guardians remain committed to opening up playing time for younger bats.

Wenceel Perez RF | DET
Tigers' Wenceel Perez: Not ready to start Sunday
Perez (foot) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
Perez will be on the bench for the first time since July 27 after fouling a ball off his right foot during Saturday's 7-4 loss. Manager A.J. Hinch said that the outfielder is already feeling better and could be available as a pinch hitter Sunday, per Evan Woodbery of MLive.com. With Matt Vierling (oblique) landing on the injured list Sunday, Javier Baez will cover center field in the series finale.

Trey Sweeney SS | DET
Tigers' Trey Sweeney: Called up, starting Sunday
The Tigers recalled Sweeney from Triple-A Toledo on Sunday, and he'll start at shortstop and bat eighth in the team's series finale versus the Angels.
Sweeney will absorb the 26-man active roster spot of outfielder/infielder Matt Vierling (oblique), who was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Though he'll be included in the lineup Sunday, Sweeney is likely to see limited playing time during his latest stint in the big leagues. The 25-year-old has slashed just .208/.275/.303 with five home runs and three stolen bases over 258 plate appearances with the Tigers this season.
