Witt had gone six games without an extra-base hit prior to Sunday, going just 4-for-22 (.182) in that span. Overall, he's slashing .292/.350/.501 with 79 RBI, 94 runs scored and 36 steals through 631 plate appearances this season.

Overall, Valdez's ERA sits at 3.59 through 29 starts (180.1 innings) this season with a 1.22 WHIP and 173:62 K:BB. Perez went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and five total RBI in Sunday's 10-3 win over the Phillies.
Perez extended Kansas City's lead to 6-2 with a homer off Aaron Nola in the sixth inning, his 28th this year, before adding two more RBI with a base hit in the seventh. Perez now has three homers and eight RBI in his last two games after going just 2-for-23 with no RBI in his previous six contests. Overall, the 35-year-old veteran is slashing .237/.278/.450 with 89 RBI and 51 runs scored across 589 plate appearances this season.

Noah Cameron SP | KC
Royals' Noah Cameron: Sharp in eighth win
Cameron (8-7) earned the win Sunday over the Phillies, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk across seven innings. He struck out seven.
Cameron looked like he was headed for an early exit after giving up home runs to Kyle Schwarber and J.T. Realmuto in the first inning. However, the left-hander rebounded and held the Phillies scoreless over his final six frames, allowing just two more hits in an eventual 10-3 Kansas City victory. Cameron has gone seven innings in back-to-back starts, allowing just four runs while striking out 15 in that span. He's lowered his ERA to 2.98 with a 1.09 WHIP and 103:37 K:BB through 22 starts (127 innings) this year. Cameron is tentatively lined up to face the Blue Jays at home in his next outing.

Victor Robles RF | SEA
Mariners' Victor Robles: Out of Sunday's lineup
Robles is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
Robles started the previous two games and will hit the bench Sunday after going 1-for-6 with three strikeouts and a caught stealing. Dominic Canzone will start in right field and bat seventh against veteran righty Kyle Hendricks.

Logan Davidson 1B | LAA
Angels' Logan Davidson: Making fifth straight start
Davidson will start at first base and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Mariners.
Davidson will draw his fifth straight start at first base after going 3-for-15 with a home run and a double over the past four games. The Angels appear content to give Davidson a look in a near-everyday role at the position until Nolan Schanuel (wrist) is cleared to make his return from the injured list.

Oswald Peraza 1B | LAA
Angels' Oswald Peraza: Losing out on everyday role
Peraza is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.
Peraza will take a seat for the second day in a row and for the third time in four games. Though Peraza had earned regular starts at first base to begin the month, he appears to have since been supplanted by Logan Davidson as the Angels' top option at the position.
-
Luis Rengifo 3B | LAA
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Sitting in second straight
Rengifo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.
For the second day in a row, Rengifo will take a seat in favor of rookie Christian Moore, who will cover second base and bat fifth in the series finale. At 69-80, the Angels are effectively eliminated from playoff contention, so it wouldn't be surprising if the club moved Rengifo into a utility role over the final two weeks in order to open up regular playing time for Moore, who is viewed as the organization's long-term future at the keystone.

Zachary Neto SS | LAA
Angels' Zach Neto: Remaining on bench Sunday
Neto (hand) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Neto sustained a hand injury while taking a swing Thursday and will sit Sunday for the third consecutive game. The Angels have a team day off Monday, so the shortstop will have an extra day to recover before Tuesday's series opener in Milwaukee. Denzer Guzman will pick up another start at shortstop for the Halos.

J.J. Bleday CF | ATH
Athletics' JJ Bleday: Idle against southpaw
Bleday is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.
The left-handed-hitting Bleday had started in each of the last three games, but he'll hit the bench Sunday while the Reds send southpaw Nick Lodolo to the bump. Bleday will cede his spot in the lineup to Colby Thomas, who will cover center field and bat fifth.
