The Blue Jays placed Springer (toe) on the 10-day injured list Sunday.

Springer fractured his left big toe Saturday when he fouled a ball off his foot, and though the nature of the injury would imply a longer absence, manager John Schneider indicated that the four-time All-Star could return in close to the minimum amount of time, per Keegan Matheson of MLB.com. The Blue Jays called up Eloy Jimenez from Triple-A Buffalo to take Springer's spot on the roster, and he'll enter the lineup at designated hitter Sunday. Along with Jimenez, Toronto could opt to rotate a number of players through the DH spot while Springer is shelved, although the team's depth is already being tested with Addison Barger (ankles) and Alejandro Kirk (thumb) also sidelined.

Durbin went 1-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 7-1 win over St. Louis.

Durbin was part of Boston's five-run ninth inning, the team's highest scoring inning of the season. His two-run single made it a 5-1 game, and he scored the final run. Durbin has at least one RBI in three of the last four games, but his .114/.188/.136 slash line has been a drag on the Red Sox.

Eyanson did not allow a hit and struck out seven over 4.1 scoreless innings for High-A Greenville on Saturday.

Eyanson was brilliant in his second pro start, setting down all 13 batters he faced. The 21-year-old right-hander has allowed one run and three hits while recording 13 strikeouts over 7.1 innings (16.5 K/9) to begin the year. Since being drafted out of LSU in 2025, Eyanson's fastball velocity has increased, per Brendan Samson of MLB.com. After averaging 92-94 mph in college, one of his four-seamers touched 100.2 mph during the Spring Breakout game in March.

The Rays optioned Rock to Triple-A Durham on Sunday.

He'll give up his spot on the 26-man roster to right-hander Drew Rasmussen (personal), who was activated from the family medical emergency list ahead of his scheduled start Sunday against the Yankees. After being recalled from Triple-A on Friday, Rock didn't make any appearances out of the bullpen.

Rasmussen will be returning to the hill for his third start of the season and his first appearance since April 1. He had been previously been scheduled to start this past Tuesday against the Cubs, but he was scratched due to the imminent birth of his child. The Rays then placed Rasmussen on the paternity list before transferring him to the FME list Saturday, but he'll now be ready to pitch as Tampa Bay goes for a sweep of the Yankees. Tampa Bay optioned lefty Joe Rock to Triple-A Durham in order to reopen a spot on the 26-man active roster for Rasmussen.

The Royals list Ragans (thumb) as their probable starting pitcher for Tuesday's game in Detroit, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Ragans was forced out of his previous start Wednesday in Cleveland in the first inning shortly after taking a 92.4-mile-per-hour comebacker off his pitching hand and was later diagnosed with a left thumb contusion. The southpaw downplayed the issue afterward, and after he seemingly made it through his between-starts bullpen session without incident, he'll take the hill on five days' rest as Kansas City opens its three-game set in Detroit.

Torkelson went 1-for-2 with two walks and an RBI in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Marlins.

Torkelson is still searching for his first home run of 2026, but he has at least been performing a bit better at the plate recently. Over his last five games, the first baseman is batting .333 with an .863 OPS, and he's walked four times versus only three strikeouts. The power should come for Torkelson as long as he's seeing the ball well, and the Tigers figure to remain patient with their slugger, who delivered 31 long balls during the 2025 regular season.

Duran went 0-for-4 in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Dodgers.

Duran, who replaced Wyatt Langford (quad) in left field Friday and started there Saturday. Langford underwent an MRI on Saturday, which indicated his quad injury is a mild strain, per Jacob Gurvis of MLB.com. He was considered to be available off the bench, which suggests Duran's stay in left field will be a short one.

Anderson tossed 3.1 scoreless innings of relief to earn the save in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Marlins. He walked two and struck out two.

The Tigers got by using only Casey Mize and Anderson on the mound Saturday, with the latter taking over in the sixth inning and cruising to the finish line on 61 pitches to earn his first career save at the MLB level. It was the longest outing of the year for the righty, who's been pitching better after a tough start to the year. Over his last two appearances, Anderson has allowed just one run across 6.1 innings and he's struck out six. He'll continue to give the Tigers an arm who can supply multiple innings out of the bullpen.

Bolton (back) is slated to start Sunday's game against the Mariners in Seattle, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Bolton will get another turn in the rotation after he made his first MLB start Monday in Colorado. The right-hander acquitted himself well at Coors Field, striking out five over 4.1 innings while allowing two earned runs on three hits and two walks. The Astros sent Bolton in for a precautionary MRI after he was struck in the back by a line drive in the first inning Monday, but the tests turned up nothing concerning. He tossed 63 pitches in his previous start and will likely increase his workload Sunday as he gets fully stretched out for what could be a long-term appointment in the rotation with Hunter Brown and Cristian Javier both recently landing on the injured list with Grade 2 shoulder strains.
