McGonigle went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Astros.

McGonigle is starting to get his power stroke going, as he now has three home runs across his last nine games. Before that, the rookie infielder had three long balls in his first 72 games of the season. McGonigle was already producing plenty of fantasy value thanks to his .282 batting average and .390 on-base percentage, but the uptick in power production is adding another element to his game.

Bichette went 3-for-4 with a walk, three runs scored and an RBI in Wednesday's 9-1 win over the Reds.

The former Blue Jay reeled off his sixth straight multi-hit performance while setting a season high in runs scored. Bichette was sitting on a .570 OPS after an 0-for-7 showing to begin June, but he's been on fire since then, batting .436 (24-for-55) over his last 13 games with five doubles, a triple, three homers, 11 runs and 14 RBI.

Ortiz is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians.

Ortiz had made four consecutive starts to close out the past week, but he looks like he'll have to settle for a utility role after the Brewers promoted one of their top prospects (Cooper Pratt) from Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday. Milwaukee will keep Ortiz on the bench for a second straight night while Pratt gets another look as the team's starting shortstop.

Pena went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Tigers.

Pena launched a solo shot in the third inning before adding an RBI single in the sixth. The homer was his first since May 30, though the shortstop has hit safely in five of his past six games and is batting .291 through 15 contests in June. For the year, he's slashing .279/.344/.415 with four long balls, 15 RBI, 26 runs scored and five steals across 163 plate appearances.

The Guardians recalled Watson from Triple-A Columbus on Wednesday.

He'll be joining the big club as a replacement on the active roster for outfielder Chase DeLauter (rib), who was sent to the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Watson has showed an intriguing power/speed skill set at Triple-A this season, slugging 12 home runs and stealing 14 bases while slashing .255/.370/.491 with a 14.9 percent walk rate and 28 percent strikeout rate across 254 plate appearances. Capable of playing all three outfield spots, Watson could fill one of the holes in the Cleveland lineup that have opened up with DeLauter, Jose Ramirez (hand) and Angel Martinez (foot) all landing on the IL within the last four days. The Guardians will keep the 23-year-old on the bench for Wednesday's game against the Brewers, however.

Lombard sustained an apparent left wrist injury and exited in the fifth inning of Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's 3-1 win over Columbus on Tuesday, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Lombard doubled and walked in two plate appearances before checking out of the contest after he appeared to hurt his wrist while trying to tag a baserunner. Yankees manager Aaron Boone didn't have an update Wednesday when asked about Lombard's injury, so the 21-year-old prospect can be viewed as day-to-day for now. One of the top prospects in the upper levels of the minors, Lombard has slashed .231/.381/.385 with four home runs and eight steals in 42 games at Triple-A since being promoted from Double-A Somerset on April 29. Lombard has made starts at second base, third base and shortstop since arriving at Triple-A, giving him multiple pathways to playing time if the Yankees decide to call him up at some point later this season.

Caballero went 2-for-4 with a home run and two total RBI in Wednesday's 12-2 victory versus the White Sox.

Caballero plated a run with a sacrifice fly in the third inning and capped the scoring in the contest with a solo blast to left field in the eighth. It was the second straight game with a long ball for Caballero, who has flexed his power more than ever this season -- through 60 contests, he's gone deep seven times, putting him near the career-high mark of nine home runs he clubbed across 139 regular-season games in 2024. Caballero has added 15 thefts and a .263/.315/.419 slash line this season, giving him plenty of fantasy value with eligibility at multiple positions.

Gimenez went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's win over the Red Sox.

The shortstop went back-to-back with Davis Schneider in the fifth inning off Payton Tolle, propelling the Blue Jays to a 3-0 lead. Gimenez was held out of the starting nine Sunday against the Yankees due to a sore wrist, but Tuesday's performance suggests he's fully healthy. The long ball was his first since May 28, but through 13 games in June, Gimenez is slashing a respectable .282/.333/.436 with three doubles, a steal, three RBI and four runs.

Turner (wrist) will start at shortstop and bat leadoff in Wednesday's game against the Marlins.

Though X-rays on Turner's right wrist returned negative after he was hit by a pitch in Monday's 7-0 win in the series opener, the Phillies elected to hold the 32-year-old out of the lineup Tuesday while he dealt with some painful bruising. The day off apparently provided sufficient time for Turner to recover, as he'll slot back into his usual spot in the field for the series finale. Even before hurting his wrist, Turner had been enduring a rough start to the season; he'll take a career-low .594 OPS -- down 218 points from 2025 -- into Wednesday's contest.

Witt went 3-for-4 with a walk, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Nationals.

The star shortstop stayed ahead of Nasim Nunez in the other dugout to keep hold of the major-league steals lead with 27. Witt has three multi-hit effort in the last four games, and through 15 contests in June he's slashing .305/.414/.373 with four doubles, zero homers, three RBI, 10 runs and 10 stolen bases in 11 attempts.
