Bichette went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs for Double-A New Hampshire in its 10-5 win over Hartford on Monday.

The three hits matched Bichette's total from the previous six games combined, spelling an end to the young shortstop's longest slump of the season. While it was good to see Bichette turn in a solid performance to lift his on-base percentage to a respectable .353 for the campaign, he hasn't been able to replicate the power production he delivered during his first two professional seasons. The 20-year-old has yet to hit a home run through 150 plate appearances and carries a .403 slugging percentage, a 162-point drop from the mark he posted between two levels of A-ball in 2017.

Wendle is out of the lineup Monday against the Royals, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

As per usual, Wendle will take a seat on the bench with a southpaw (Eric Skoglund) starting for the opposition. Daniel Robertson will start at the keystone and hit fifth in his stead.

Adrianza is out of the lineup Sunday against the Angels, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

With Miguel Sano (hamstring) sidelined since late April, Adrianza has received the majority of the starts at shortstop while Eduardo Escobar has shifted over to Sano's normal post at third base. Though he'll be given the day off Sunday, Adrianza still looks to have some leash in the full-time role with Sano having yet to officially begin a minor-league rehab assignment. Gregorio Petit will receive the nod at shortstop in the series finale.

Gordon (toe) went 0-for-7 with an RBI from a sacrifice fly and a walk in a doubleheader against the Tigers on Saturday.

Gordon had missed Thursday's series finale against the Blue Jays with a bruised toe and then had seen his planned Friday return postponed due to weather. He could only muster a sacrifice fly in the first game of Saturday's twin bill, but he still sported an impressive .366 average over 43 May plate appearances heading into Sunday's action.

Wendle went a combined 4-for-7 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run in Saturday's doubleheader versus the Orioles.

The versatile infielder continues to make his mark, with his average sitting right on .300 after his successful Saturday. Wendle has now exceeded his previous career high of 104 major-league plate appearances that he'd logged with the Athletics back in 2016, and he appears set for solid playing time over the balance of the season given the superior production he's churned out thus far.

Lindor went 4-for-4 with two home runs, two doubles, four runs scored and two RBI in Saturday's win over the Royals.

Lindor extended his hitting streak to 13 games with his first-inning double off Jakob Junis, a stretch during which he's gone a remarkable 27-for-58 (.465) with eight homers, 18 runs, 13 RBI and a 5:8 BB:K. He added another double and a homer of Junis before capping his four-hit day with a long ball of Kevin McCarthy. Saturday's performance boosted Lindor's average to a season-high .311.

Correa went 1-for-2 with a walk and a two-run homer in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Rangers.

The shortstop has been stuck in a rut lately, hitting .194 (7-for-36) since the calendar flipped to May, but Correa does have two homers, six RBI and five runs in 10 games this month. His overall .295/.380/.511 slash line remains strong, but the 23-year-old showed in 2017 that his ceiling is much higher than that.

Diaz (ankle) has resumed throwing and will begin hitting next week, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Diaz was placed on the disabled list earlier this week after leaving Sunday's contest in Tampa Bay due to a left ankle sprain. After taking a few days off to rest, Diaz is back on the field and is set to participate in some running and hitting drills early next week. The Blue Jays have yet to describe a specific timetable for his return, but he will be eligible to come off the DL on Friday.

Bogaerts went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Friday's 5-3 extra-innings loss to the Blue Jays.

The fourth-inning blast was Bogaerts' fourth home run of the season, as well as his first in May. He hasn't quite been able to regain his pre-injury form at the plate, but the 25-year-old still has a strong .296/.328/.481 slash line in 13 games since coming off the disabled list.

Gordon (toe) is back in the lineup in center field and batting atop the order for Friday's game against Detroit, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.

Gordon was held out of Thursday's game due to a bruised big toe after suffering the injury earlier in the week on a foul ball. It doesn't appear as though this was an overly serious injury, and the speedy outfielder likely won't miss any additional time.
