Gray (wrist) could be ready to make his season debut by late July, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Gray resumed throwing off a mound last week as he works his way back from a fractured right wrist he suffered in mid-March. Presumably, the right-hander will come back as a starter for the Rangers, but there was some talk during spring training about moving him to the bullpen, so his role could depend on the team's needs at that time.

Bradford (elbow) could be ready to make his season debut by early July, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Coming back from a left elbow sprain, Bradford has been throwing off a mound for several weeks and seems to be close to being cleared for a rehab assignment. Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said last week that he hoped the southpaw would be stretched out to five innings by July 4, and if that happens, Bradford could be ready to rejoin the big-league rotation at that point. The left-hander held a 3.54 ERA and 70:13 K:BB over 76.1 frames in 2024 and makes for a good stash in deeper fantasy leagues.

Rays manager Kevin Cash said that McClanahan (triceps) received "very good" news from nerve specialist Dr. Gregory J. Pearl on Tuesday and should resume throwing off a mound "soon," Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

McClanahan was shut down briefly after not feeling 100 percent during a 10-to-12 pitch bullpen session June 7. He resumed flat-ground work Tuesday and the hope is that the lefty "got some good peace of mind" as a result of his meeting with Dr. Pearl, per Cash. Prior to the setback, McClanahan was tracking toward a season debut in late July. It's unclear what a revised timetable looks like, but it now seems unlikely he would be ready before August.

Marlins manager Clayton McCullough said that Quantrill dealt with a cramp in his left hamstring during Tuesday's start against the Phillies, Isaac Azout of FishOnFirst.com reports.

Quantrill was seen grabbing at his hamstring after the Marlins recorded the final out in the top of the fourth inning. He came back out for the fifth but was pulled after hitting a batter and giving up a double. Quantrill had thrown only 74 pitches and allowed just one run to that point, although he was charged with an additional two runs after exiting. It's not clear how much the right-hander's cramping factored into McCullough's decision to remove the hurler, but the manager expects Quantrill to be ready to go for his next scheduled outing Tuesday in San Francisco.

Soto (right triceps strain) was moved to the 60-day minor league injured list at High-A Cedar Rapids.

The Twins organization didn't release new information on his injury, so this could just be a procedural move. However, it likely indicates this is a significant injury. The No. 34 overall pick of the 2023 First-Year Player Draft was off to a promising start at Cedar Rapids, posting a 1.38 ERA and 15:5 K:BB in 13 innings, before suffering the injury in mid-April.

Wrobleski is expected to pitch multiple innings in relief Wednesday against the Padres behind starter Emmet Sheehan (elbow), Matthew Moreno of DodgerBlue.com reports.

Sheehan will return from the 60-day injured list to make his 2025 Dodgers debut Wednesday, but because he maxed out at 3.1 innings and 63 pitches over his four-start rehab assignment coming off his May 2024 Tommy John surgery, he'll have his workload monitored carefully. With Sheehan unlikely to cover the five innings he would need to qualify for a win, Wrobleski may be the Dodgers pitcher most likely to factor into any decision Wednesday. Wrobleski will be available on four days' rest and should be capable of working as long as the Dodgers need him to after he allowed one earned run and struck out five over 4.1 innings of bulk relief in his most recent appearance for the big club.

Soroka (3-5) took the loss Tuesday as the Nationals fell 10-6 to the Rockies, giving up three runs on five hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out nine.

The nine Ks were a season high for Soroka, who generated 30 called or swinging strikes among his 93 pitches (58 total strikes), while the quality start was his third of the year in nine trips to the mound. The right-hander also served up two homers, however, on a night when Colorado tied a franchise record with seven long balls. Keeping the ball in the yard remains an issue for Soroka -- he's been taken deep 10 times in only 48 innings this season, fueling a 5.06 ERA that is out of sync with his 1.13 WHIP and 49:12 K:BB. He seems unlikely to solve the problem in his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road this weekend against the Dodgers.

Senzatela (2-10) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing one unearned run on three hits and three walks over five innings in a 10-6 victory over the Nationals. He failed to strike out a batter.

The veteran righty wasn't fooling anyone -- Senzatela generated only one swinging strike among his 83 pitches -- but Washington struggled to produce any offense while he was on the mound. The win ended an 0-7 run for Senzatela over his prior nine starts in which he'd limped to an 8.64 ERA, 2.09 WHIP and 26:19 K:BB in 41.2 innings, and while the end result was nice, his performance didn't exactly suggest he's turning things around. He lines up to make his next start at home this weekend against the Diamondbacks.

Mize (7-2) picked up the win Tuesday, giving up three runs (two earned) on five hits over six innings in a 7-3 victory over the Pirates. He struck out four without walking a batter.

The Tigers slugged four homers on the night, giving Mize more than enough run support as he recorded his first win and first quality start since returning from the IL in late May. Over five outings since recovering from a hamstring strain, the right-hander has produced a 3.70 ERA, 1.64 WHIP and 24:9 K:BB through 24.1 innings. Mize will look to build on this performance in his next trip to the mound, which is scheduled to come on the road this weekend in Tampa Bay.

Falter didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Tigers, giving up three runs on five hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out four.

Three of the five hits off the southpaw went for extra bases, including homers by Wenceel Perez and Javier Baez. Falter has avoided getting tagged with a loss since April 27, going 4-0 over his last nine trips to the mound while posting a stunning 1.99 ERA and 0.99 WHIP despite a lackluster 28:17 K:BB in 49.2 innings. He'll try to keep that streak going in his next start, which lines up to come at home this weekend against the Rangers.
