Rogers (knee) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Chesapeake on Wednesday.

Rogers is finally ready to pitch in a game setting after recovering from a right knee subluxation he suffered back in January. The left-hander will require a lengthy rehab assignment and isn't a given to be added to the big-league roster once he's off the 15-day injured list.

Miley (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Dayton on Tuesday, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports.

Miley was cleared to pitch in an official game after getting through an extended spring training contest last week with no issues. Coming back from a hybrid UCL repair he had on his left elbow last May, Miley will eventually work his way up to Triple-A Louisville and could become an option for the Reds' rotation if he pitches well.

Atlanta selected Wiles' contract from Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.

Atlanta had an opening in its rotation after Spencer Strider strained his right hamstring while playing catch Monday and was placed on the injured list, and Wiles looks like he'll get the first chance to fill the void. According to David O'Brien of The Athletic, Atlanta plans to use an opening pitcher to work the first inning or two of Tuesday's game against the Cardinals, but Wiles should be in line to see the bulk of the innings in relief. The 26-year-old right-hander had been the top starter for Gwinnett through his first three outings of the season, logging a 0.64 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 15:5 K:BB in 14 innings. If Wiles is able to deliver an adequate performance in his MLB debut, he could be in store for multiple turns through the rotation while Atlanta awaits Strider's return from the IL.

Alexander struck out five and allowed one hit and no walks over three scoreless innings in relief en route to earning a save in Sunday's 14-1 win over the Athletics.

After allowing eight runs (four earned) in his previous appearance as a starter in an April 14 loss to the Tigers, Alexander shifted to the bullpen and gave up his spot in the rotation to rookie Logan Henderson. Henderson dazzled in his MLB debut and picked up the win after the limiting the Athletics to one run while striking out nine over six innings, but Alexander finished out the contest in efficient fashion, needing just 42 pitches to retire nine of the 10 batters he faced. The save was the first of Alexander's seven-year MLB career, but the veteran lefty is likely to be used mainly in lower-leverage spots moving forward.

Soroka (biceps) is expected to make a rehab start for Double-A Harrisburg on Tuesday.

Soroka was placed on the injured list April 4 due to a right biceps strain but has made positive strides in his recovery in recent days. He completed a bullpen session over the weekend without issue and has now received the green light to take the next step forward in his rehab process by heading to the minors. The Nationals haven't outlined their plans for Soroka, but he may need to make an additional rehab start after Tuesday before becoming an option for the big-league rotation.

Gibson struck out five and allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit and two walks over five innings Sunday in his start with High-A Aberdeen.

Due to his late signing with the Orioles, Gibson didn't appear in any Grapefruit League games and was optioned to the minors to start the season so that he could continue building up. He's now made three starts between stops with Triple-A Norfolk and Aberdeen, accruing a 3.75 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 13:2 K:BB in 12 innings. After tossing 78 pitches (51 strikes) in his latest start with Aberdeen, Gibson may need just one more start in the minors before the Orioles deem him ready to join the big-league rotation.

High-A Aberdeen placed De Leon on the 7-day injured list April 4 with an undisclosed injury.

De Leon, a 6-foot-3 southpaw who turned 22 earlier in April, logged a 5.73 ERA, 1.88 WHIP and 65:42 K:BB in 59.2 innings at High-A last season.

The Orioles recalled Young from Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday.

The Orioles have an opening in their rotation this weekend in Detroit that could be filled by Young, if the club wants to give Kyle Gibson more time in the minors to get stretched out before making his 2025 debut. The right-handed Young yielded three runs over four innings against the Reds this past weekend in his major-league debut.

Fedde pitched through a calf issue after being struck by a line drive in the second inning of Monday's outing in Atlanta, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Fedde wound up covering six innings in the start and limited Atlanta to two runs. He worked with a trainer in between innings to keep the muscle loose and felt fine while pitching, but Fedde had trouble putting weight on the leg while talking to the media after the game. Fedde will have six days of rest before his next scheduled start Monday in Cincinnati, and there's no indication at this point that he might be in danger of missing that start.

Priester allowed two runs on four hits and four walks while striking out three batters over four-plus innings in a no-decision against San Francisco on Monday.

Priester struggled to throw the ball in the strike zone throughout his outing, as only 42 of his 81 pitches were strikes. The righty issued a season-high four walks, though he still managed to limit the damage to just two runs. Priester had tossed five frames in each of his previous two starts, but walks have certainly been an issue for him, as he's now handed out nine free passes in just 14 innings on the campaign. Priester has nonetheless registered a 1.93 ERA, and he's lined up to make his next start in St. Louis this weekend.
